The car is original from Japan. But you could use a turtle chrome polishing wax if there was some oxidization.
Beautiful wagon! I have an 88 Hilux Surf in metallic grey, also with around 60k miles. Definitely not as nice as this one but I’m slowly restoring it.
It also does not have the side vent windows on the doors like the 4Runner models imported to the USA did.
