I always thought that the rider on the white horse, was that of the anti-christ. However, some years ago while talking to a dear friend about this rider. She too has told me that the rider is Jesus! And now listening to Derek Prince saying that the rider is Jesus.
I went to look what Matthew Henry says about this in his commentary. And he too, says that the Rider is Jesus!! ...... Verses 1-2 Here, 1. Christ, the Lamb, opens the first seal; he now enters upon the great work of opening and accomplishing the purposes of God towards the church and the world. 2. One of the ministers of the church calls upon the apostle, with a voice like thunder, to come near, and observe what then appeared. 3. We have the vision itself, v. 2. (1.) The Lord Jesus appears riding on a white horse. White horses are generally refused in war, because they make the rider a mark for the enemy; but our Lord Redeemer was sure of the victory and a glorious triumph, and he rides on the white horse of a pure but despised gospel, with great swiftness through the world. (2.) He had a bow in his hand. The convictions impressed by the word of God are sharp arrows, they reach at a distance; and, though the ministers of the word draw the bow at a venture, God can and will direct it to the joints of the harness. This bow, in the hand of Christ, abides in strength, and, like that of Jonathan, never returns empty. (3.) A crown was given him, importing that all who receive the gospel must receive Christ as a king, and must be his loyal and obedient subjects; he will be glorified in the success of the gospel. When Christ was going to war, one would think a helmet had been more proper than a crown; but a crown is given him as the earnest and emblem of victory. (4.) He went forth conquering, and to conquer. As long as the church continues militant Christ will be conquering; when he has conquered his enemies in one age he meets with new ones in another age; men go on opposing, and Christ goes on conquering, and his former victories are pledges of future victories. He conquers his enemies in his people; their sins are their enemies and his enemies; when Christ comes with power into their soul he begins to conquer these enemies, and he goes on conquering, in the progressive work of sanctification, till he has gained us a complete victory. And he conquers his enemies in the world, wicked men, some by bringing them to his foot, others by making them his footstool. Observe, From this seal opened, [1.] The successful progress of the gospel of Christ in the world is a glorious sight, worth beholding, the most pleasant and welcome sight that a good man can see in this world. [2.] Whatever convulsions and revolutions happen in the states and kingdoms of the world, the kingdom of Christ shall be established and enlarged in spite of all opposition. [3.] A morning of opportunity usually goes before a night of calamity; the gospel is preached before the plagues are poured forth. [4.] Christ’s work is not all done at once. We are ready to think, when the gospel goes forth, it should carry all the world before it, but it often meets with opposition, and moves slowly; however, Christ will do his own work effectually, in his own time and way.
Um… the bow is not a reference to bow and arrows. It is not the correct Greek word. Here it is a bow is in a fabric. Always check the context and source. False teaching around because people choose not to what is being taught.
Due to the nature of the three horses to come after the white horse, author F. A. Jennings adamantly rejects the theory of it being Christ stating, “The whole context and character of these seals absolutely prohibits our thinking of this rider being the Lord Jesus, as so many affirm. The reign of Christ will not bring war, famine, and strife in its train.” Other traditions asserts that this first horseman represents the infamous Antichrist. Correspondingly, the first four seals are the four horsemen of the apocalypse. This is because the original theory held these visions would occur after the rapture. I believe the real problem is properly putting events in their correct time frame. The Seals are the past (OT Era), the Trumpets are the present (Church Age) and the Bowls are the future (post rapture). I believe what we are looking at is mankind before the original sin in the garden. The scriptures tell us in the beginning Adam was created as a sinless (symbolic of the White horse) being with the freedom of choice. He had dominion over the world. Christ did not fit as the rider on the white horse, due to the nature of the three horses that followed. However, the reign (sin) of Adam did cause wars, famine and strife to follow the white horse.
He has no arrows! It is all about deception through fear, which is playing out right in front of us! Interestingly some of the democrats in the US took a bow on one knee. Who are they bowing too!!!!! This is the spirit of lawlessness at work. Why? Because the Antichrist is coming. It may even start at the global reset in Jan 21.

Hello and good day to those who are watching this video message or the replay. I am watching the replay of this video. Today is January 13, 2023; and yesterday, I watched a video by another Believer in Christ from his channel (my son wanted me to see and he shared it). The subject was about food prices - INFLATION and FOOD RATIONINGS by some older generation who went through this very thing many decades ago. They most definitely remember how it was and will probably be again.

Those that commented that Mr. Prince missed the meaning of the first horse are correct. All of these four horses are of the world and of anti-Christ. These are not sent by God but are simply a reflection of the apostate church that makes war on the saints by conquest. The one that is Faithful and True does not appear until chapter 19. This man probably doesn't mean to deceive but how can he miss this point as it is so vital to the interpretation?
The horses are a representation of a scripture in zechariah ***zechariah 6:1 I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains-mountains of bronze. 2 The first chariot had red horses, the second black, 3 the third white, and the fourth dappled-all of them powerful. 4 I asked the angel who was speaking to me, “What are these, my lord?”
5 The angel answered me, “These are the four spirits[a] of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world.*** They are representations of the spirit. Horses are described in the bible as cocky victorious powerful strong fierce creations. That's why the Father described His spirits as horses. Revelation is crazy symbolic. But every description comes from the bible. Also revelation has been going on for 2020 years. We're at the last of the 2 witnesses. With that being said the white horse isn't anything evil. Read revelations and see how everything that's white is pure and sacred. If The Father wanted to describe evil he would very vividly. Like the lamb with 2 horns. Ures obvious that's evil. But the white horse is the reason we have the bible today. When the white horse rider gets revealed at the end his name is "The Word Of God". They didn't have bibles back in the day they had scrolls of individual prophets. But the rider started off conquering and to overall CONQUER!!! That is the spreading of the gospel we read today. The rider is said to begin conquering and to overall conquer. That's why when the white horse rider is finally introduced the second time in great detail his name is ***The Word Of God***. God isn't worried about any religion. His word conquers all as it had been told. It started out conquering! That is the most glorious part of the bible. He said he is the beginning and the end. A small addition to my previous comment...It is so lovely (in the honorable meaning of Love regarding the honorable principles of manhood that are of God) to see "the crown of sincerity" that has been placed upon you, which in this way can only be placed of the Holy Spirit. His interpretation of the white horse rider was made famous in William Hendriksen's book "More Than Conquerers," but it seems to be a misapplication. The horses were commanded from heaven, by the Lamb (Jesus) who had the authority to open the seals and release judgment on the earth. The Lamb is distinguished from the four horsemen who are tools of the Lamb. To equate the white horse as Christ preaching the gospel would be incongruous with the other three horses who are clearly characteristic of demonic entities. The group of four represents the principle of full judgment, as was in the case of Job; and in the four horns, four carpenters, four winds, four chariots, and four spirits in the book of Zechariah.

The white horse is allegorical of the beginning of the false church under Rome as it began and instituted a man to stand in the place of Christ on earth. It is happening now. The Roman Catholic Church led by Pope Francis, who is a false prophet, has convinced all major religious leaders to sign a pact for One World Religion to promote peace across the religions and nations. If it's according to schedule, they will sign in September 2020. UN is also pushing One World Order. This will set the stage for the entrance of The Antichrist.

That's the problem,but theres only one God interpretation,if u read revelation 13 it tells u ever about the best and how his gonna make war against the saints and he will conquer them,plus if that's Jesus how can the beast come with Jesus here and do all does things,when Jesus comes he will crush them all with just his word,the antichrist is no match to Jesus,plus the context to that passage is Mathew 24

Revelation 6 and 19: the rider on the White horse: Jesus.
Some people have illustrated Revelation quite helpfully like this:
It's like if you're printing a 3 colored document: you run it through red, and then another colour, then another colour until you get the red, green, blue; in some sense Revelation appears to do this; you take a theme, right through to the end, like the throne of God, and then you come back and you start up again. the White horse 1st comes up in chpt 6, the Word continues, and then there, in Rev 19, the White horse comes to the fore-front again. In Hebrew, the 1st time something appears, it’s very significant, and will give a strong clue to the future.

1/ White Horse: Jesus. See Psalm 45, Rev 19. 2/ 2nd horse Fiery Red to take Peace: Ethnic Conflict. eg RSA, Israel. Revelation, in part, is Revelation if the judgement of Jesus 3/ v5,6: Black Horse, scales in hand: Shortage & Rationing. Denarius=daily wage. ‘Do not hurt the oil and the wine’: = reserved for the rich: in the midst of the shortage, those living in luxury, happening in today’s world. 4/ Pale horse, riders named death & hades: authority over 4th if Earth: famine & death. death claims bodies, hades claims the souls. The rider is certainly not the Antichrist! The first rider is Jesus Christ who begins his ride when he receives a crown. He began ruling in 1914 and will soon complete his conquest, ending all suffering. The color white symbolizes righteousness!

Revelation 6:1-2 Psalms 45:1-5 talks about the four horsemen who were commanded from heaven. Three of the four horsemen are of the judgment of God and the white horsemen represents righteousness which is commanded from heaven to go before the other three horsemen!

So glad to see this comment. The word itself implies an arrow dipped in poison. I’m not sure why we always wonder who the rider on the white horse is, but show no curiosity for who the riders of the remaining 3 horses are. I’m fairly convinced, but of course can’t be completely dogmatic about it, that white was used to symbolize the medical field, the crown given is corona(the Latin word for crown), and the bow is the poisonous jab. There is no way anyone could’ve predicted this, but only once things happen can we see that the Lord told us that it would.

I believe each horse represents something, the white horse rider representing deception, the false Christ, false Messiah.

He will bring about a false peace among the nations, which for a time may have been alarmed by the supernatural removal of the true church. I disagree, the first white horse is not called faithful and true and does not have the same crown. Jesus said don't be deceived He only comes at the end. This is in part telling that anything prior to that is not Him.

The 4 horsemen are conditions not literal people. Conquest, war, famine, and plague. They are give authority by God to "ride". That does not mean they are from God. God would not kill godly people with these conditions, yet many godly people will die from these conditions.
