Nice, but in AZ with all the dust and dirt everything would be covered in it. Got to build me something enclosed. Guess I'll need to head to Lowes to see if their trailer is cheaper than I can build. Thanks for the vid.
We happen to have dust and dirt here too haha, and were coming out to AZ with it in september. I just nice hefty boxes to keep my gear clean, but I mostly use the cargo area for fire wood, camp chairs, and trash.
so sick. Glad I found you through fb marketplace. The ideas are running wild now lol. Seriously great work, got a subscriber out of me. Keep it cool brother!
With regards to the axle spring perches, why could you not have rotated the axle 180? You would have to the reverse the pin on the springs, but you had to do that regardless. Am I missing something?
@@JeepinBubba did the Spacers hold up? just got a 4x6 trailer and trying to be a little budget minded. I Was planning on wheel adapters for my Factory jeep wheels.
I’m real interested in making one of these trailers. I I have a lot of questions. What all did you have to do exactly to get it lifted? Just flipped the axle springs? Did you have to add that little spacer between that you mention to weld? Also did you have to add wheel spacers to add the rims?
I recently sold it and were building a new design from scratch. But it did well, kinda bouncy, needed some reinforcements to the frame welded I'm, but a great platform to star with
Love it, been thinking of something exactly like this but with room to park an ATV right under the tent
Building mine now. Hope to finish in next week or so. Lowes discontinued these trailers. No idea why because they are great. Perfect size for Jeeps.
Nice!!
Nice work bro, simple and efficient 💪‼️I love it, building one myself at the moment...can't wait ‼️‼️
I actually sold this one and I am building a new one. Same idea, but way beefier and more storage, stay tuned.
Nice build man! I want to do the same type of trailer except have all my camp kitchen in the trailer.

The axle has a V in it that is designed to flatten out with a load, so it can only be mounted one way.
Where did you get the trailer jacks? I’m in the process of building a trailer now and need to find those.
Northern Tool
Nice build. Do you have any links for axle lift? Did you use spacers? Size?
I user etrailer for all my parts, and yes I used a 2" spacer.
Perfect thanks man!

I Was planning on wheel adapters for my Factory jeep wheels.
I'm curious, how did you get the wheels to clear the trailer hub? It seems like trailer hubs are larger diameter than jeep hub centric spacer holes.
Nah, they are just about the same.

I flipped the springs, welded a perch, and used 2" spacers
Thanks!
How is the trailer holding up off road and on the highway? I heard the bearing might have problems
Towed it to Arizona and back and through big bend with no issues. I have welded re enforcement in the frame for heavy offroading tho
@@JeepinBubba thanks for all the info
