How much do you feed it when it does come time to feed? And how much?

PyroDinos get 100% of their energy from sunlight. Lighting is more important. Thus adding DinoNutrients (feeding) is only a recommendation to maintain optimal health and/or grow more PyroDinos. Feeding is highly variable. For routine culture maintenance you can add DinoNutrients in small volumes (5 to 10% of total culture volume). For expansion feeding you may add more (50 - 100% culture volume). Our rule of thumb is to only add DinoNutrients when you see a line of aggregating PyroDinos at the waterline. If you do not see this thin line then do not feed, instead change the lighting conditions. Lighting is more important.

So, I just watched a video you guys made 2 years ago about expansion feeding at night. In the description you said you were making a video "in the future" about creating our own salt water media to use, but after looking through the rest of your channel I couldn't find it. Are you planning on making that video? I'm desperately trying to make my own media but I don't want to kill my glowy bois.
I purchased your tub of GrowPro salt, so I'm halfway there, but I don't know what "nutrients" to add to it. Please make that video!

Artificial seawater instructions:
Our PyroDinos are grown in supplemented Pacific Ocean seawater (DinoNutrients) but can be adapted to artificial seawater over time.
We recommend using the artificial seawater salt brand 'Instant Ocean'; however, other artificial seawater salts can be used.
1. Mix Instant Ocean with dechlorinated tap or purified water.
Use ½ cup Instant Ocean per gallon of water or roughly 38g of per liter of water.
2. Stir vigorously to ensure a good mix. Let sit (wait) for 1 hour or more.
3. Measure specific gravity with a Hydrometer
Recommended Specific Gravity Range: 1.022 - 1.026 at 72F (22°C).
4. Adjust salt level accordingly. If the specific gravity is too low, add more salt. lf too high, add more dechlorinated water.
5. Sterilize the artificial seawater using UV light, 0.22micron filter, microwave heating or a combination of these methods.
6. Add Nutrient solutions (F/2 media, DinoNutrients or concentrated DinoNutrients)
For small batches of artificial seawater, we recommend using a covered pyrex dish (to prevent evaporation) and microwaving the water until very hot (but not boiling). Once cooled, we recommend adding a standard DinoNutrient pouch to each 2 to 4 liters of artificial seawater.
PyroFarms can provide Instant Ocean salts, DinoNutrients and concentrated DinoNutrients (200X).
