    Is it possible to put them in a bigger tank? will they multiply with time? I want to make a wide tank for kids at school so that they play with their bare hands

    Is feeding completely necessary even if aggregation occurs? If I run out of nutrients can I use other saltwater solutions?

    • @PyroFarms
      @PyroFarms  Před měsícem +1

      Feeding is not completely necessary in the short term if aggregation occurs. Aggregation is a sign that feeding can take place. However, feeding is not an absolute requirement (in the short term.. weeks/months). You may also use your own sterile seawater at the correct salinity. more info here: pyrofarms.com/blogs/pyrofarms-blue-light-special/make-your-own-diy-artificial-seawater

    Can we keep this algae in glycerol stock?

    • @PyroFarms
      @PyroFarms  Před měsícem +1

      This is a question we do not know the answer. We do know that glycerol freezing does not work with this species.

      They scatter on the bottom of the bottle… is that normal

    • @PyroFarms
      @PyroFarms  Před měsícem

      Try less lighting. Scattering at the bottom is usually a sign of too much lighting. Try moving away from light source.

    그것은 빛없이 몇일을 살수있나요?

      How many days can it live without light? It depends on several factors. We do not recommend more than 5 or 6 days without light. However we have seen some shipments survive for up to 10 days without light. However, this is not the norm.

      @@PyroFarmswhat if I accidentally switch on the LED grow light for 24 hours nonstop? How many hours can it survive with continuous lights?
