The comments are almost like a hindrance, so if you don't stop the music, it's like you're just listening to a chat. You should think about it. The sound is also bad, so I can't bear to hear it.
Welcome & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Lovebites is one of the best bands in our country. Their live performance is much better than MVs. We say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". The history is very long and the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Queen (1975), Kiss (1977), Cheap Trick / Van Halen / Scorpions (1978), Judas Priest (1978/79) and so on. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.) Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
I'm Japanese and I've seen this copy and paste so many times. I can't stand anymore.
I love Lovebites but they are unknown in our country. We say "Japan is the country obsessed by J-Pop". It was called "Kayo-kyoku" before 1990's. Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Enka". It had started earlier than J-Pop. Some Japanese love Rock Music, but they have never been in the majority.
@@subfactspodcast It is more important to hear everything the artist has created and maybe see a part of an ad, than to cut the video short and not see any ads. Just look at the time left on the video to tell if there is more left.
they have a backcatalogue of around 60 songs. and there is not a single bad, stale or mediocre one amongst them. they will blow you away with every single song.
This is intended as constructive criticism, so please don't be offended. If you guys can somehow improve your bandwidth, that will greatly improve the viewer experience. I'm seeing about 4 frames per second on the video with severely degraded audio. Also, talking almost non-stop through the video will turn off some fans who really came to hear Lovebites (and see you being amazed by them) rather than hear you guys talk continuously.
Thank you for experiencing LOVEBITES for the first time. A band that deserves the most respect possible. Note that most of this comment is in response to your REQUEST to offer constructive information, and my intent is to support you in 'producing' high-quality 'reaction videos' that will help your channel grow while also promoting artists you enjoy and admire. Please give attention to the most "thumbs-up'd" comments (at this writing) that address 3 things, 1. stutter-frame-video of the band is a poor representation of the original video depriving your viewers of the high quality of all their works. Victor is their label (as in RCA Victor/JVC/Kenwood) and they have spared no expense in producing the best in Music Video & Concert Video/Audio recordings. 2. the music as added in your video is also severely degraded and has an odd echo effect, also at a low volume level so that your constant talking makes it difficult to really 'follow' the music properly. LOVEBITES sends all their 'raw tracks' from Japan to Finland's renowned Finnvox Studios to be mixed & mastered in a particular way in stereo. That is considerable effort to have a sound that is nearly unrecognizable by your 'production' method. Retaining the original stereo audio is important. Hopefully what you heard in your headphones was the pristine stereo audio. 3. The constant talking is extreme. Pausing occasionally to comment, then back up the video slightly to retain the continuity in the song upon restart is a common method of commenting & might be best considering how much you have to say, which is a good thing! So much happens in LOVEBITES songs that even when pausing at an appropriate 'transition' will result in MISSING the precise details in that 'transition' unless backup enough to fully hear the change they are taking us through. "Transitions" are a major feature of their music. All these details are important for EVERY band you 'react' to. We want to see/hear your 'reaction' but also retain as much of the original video experience for your viewers that do not know LOVEBITES (or other bands) until YOU show them. Also, adding the link to the original video in your description allows viewers the ease to go watch/listen after your 'reaction' to see/hear the video fullscreen & uninterrupted with full sound. Concerning avoiding "ads that follow" try "AdBlockPlus" it is free, and make sure 'autoplay' is off. Every LOVEBITES video, MV or LIVE is worth watching to the very end. Finally, although your reply to nearly every comment is appreciated, repeating the exact phrase "Thank you for checking us out and your suggestions" gives the impression you don't actually read what was written since it does not address what was commented. (granted, this is nit-picking! but true.) Once more, most of this comment is in response to your request to offer constructive information, and my intent is to support you in 'producing' high-quality 'reaction videos' that will help your channel grow while also promoting artists you enjoy and admire. My personal issues that resulted in only watching part of this is the stutter-video and the extremely degraded music audio that does not allow new listeners of LOVEBITES to really appreciate the high quality of all their releases, CDs, Blu-rays/DVDs and other merchandise [and the constant talking]. (some might say that LOVEBITES ought to be LOUD enough so you can't talk to each other!) Believe me, IF I didn't think it will be fun to watch your LOVEBITES 'journey' I would not have taken the time to type all this !! Welcome to LOVEBITES Wolf-Pack! \m/🐺\m/
That is the most helpful and perfect advice advice I've seen given to anyone before, 5 and a half minutes in and thought 🥳 show I'd had enough but looked through comments seen this so will see and hope. Much respect 🐺🤘
Thanks for the great reaction video! It's great to see people surprised, excited and falling in love with them when they see Lovebites at the first time. What Matt said about Babymetal is correct and I totally agree. Mooney should watch the video carefully again. You are too busy talking to miss the many precious moments they showed.

What a band you just discovered! They’ll keep the Metal flame alive and kicking!! 🔥Try reacting to their new video “Stand and Deliver” to see a different side by them. Almost 60 phenomenal power/thrash/progressive metal songs ahead of you 🐺🤘🏻 You’ll enjoy all the classic metal influences you can get. This ladies are just the best in the business. Other great JMetal/Rock bands: Nemophila, Band Maid, Hanabie, Lonesome_Blue, Unlucky Morpheus to mention only few of them. But to me Lovebites are the absolute best 😉
Just check out live performances. Break the Wall, Set the World on Fire, Thunder Vengeance, Edge of the World, Swan Song(Chopin intro)......and EVERYTHING else.
Welcome to the "Wolfpack", the worldwide fan base of LOVEBITES- cool that u guys have discovered the best metal band on this earth. So be prepared to enter a world of insane musicianship, freaking guitar solos, stunning drum & bass work in the background (unfortunately not fully appreciated sometimes) and the one and only voice. BTW we all are waiting for a world tour, bringing them finally back to Europe, and guess once to the US. HAVE FUN!!! (just be aware, it will blow your mind on a regular basis) LOVEBITES is: Haruna "little BIG Engine" drums (4'9"; 1.45m) Asami "The One & Only Voice" vocals/piano (4'10"; 1.47m) Midori "Crazy Shredder" guitar (4'11"; 1.5m) (the one on left) Miyako "The Golden Touch" guitar/piano (5'2"; 1.58m) (The one on right) Fami bass (new bass player since 2023) These ladies excel in their live performances. A few of the ones I would recommend for a variety of different styles/sounds would be: Shadowmaker - czcams.com/video/wmAKRiG89Qc/video.html&ab_channel=%D0%A2%D0%B8%D0%BC%D1%83%D1%80FN ((( on a personal note: IMO one of the best ever songs... and so cute to see Miyako at 4:21 when she is realizing to miss the stage part (as obviously agreed in advance)))) When Destinies Align - czcams.com/video/x-G4EKjDbsk/video.html&ab_channel=MusicMania Glory to the World - czcams.com/video/6wlAh02Wom4/video.html&ab_channel=MusicMania Holy War - czcams.com/video/BYkxxUv3Vwo/video.html&ab_channel=MusicMania Set The World on Fire - czcams.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/video.html Swan Song w/ Chopin Intro by Miyako - czcams.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/video.html Epilogue - czcams.com/video/JIAJYBuuKGM/video.html Edge of The World - czcams.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/video.html Thunder Vengeance - czcams.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/video.html Break The Wall - czcams.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/video.html Raise Some Hell - czcams.com/video/zamSQD0JUFk/video.html A Frozen Serenade - czcams.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/video.html Winds of Transylvania - czcams.com/video/qd_qop5j1bs/video.html
@@subfactspodcast FYI - Always use the links the wolfpack provides rather than searching on titles in CZcams. There are several versions of these songs and the wolfpack will always provide you with the link to the best one. Avoid any footage from their Bloodstock concert as the audio was horrible due to a last second stage change for the band (not their fault) that left no time to setup and test the audio.
The album Judgement Day has no bad song and all are fast and have their own style. Other Music video from this album is Stand and Deliver, but check out their previous songs from their live concerts, Still can't go wrong with any of those songs. Enjoy!!!
Allow me to answer some of the questions/points you brought up in. LOVEBITES has one Japanese song, the original recorded version of "Bravehearted" from their debut EP. It was re-recorded in English for their first LP. Miho, the former bass guitarist, is especially influenced by Iron Maiden and, like me, often mimicked Steve Harris' mannerisms and playstyle. The original four instrumentalists all hail from failed bands and the singer comes from a career as a soloist and backup singer, but she wasn't _really_ going anywhere, something that's addressed in the lyrics of their song "When Destinies Align." The one lineup change they've had is that their original bass guitarist, Miho, left the group in August 2021 for undisclosed reasons. This video is the first official music video with their new bass guitarist, 20 year old Fami. Fami was also questioning her future as a musician when LOVEBITES announced that they were holding auditions to fill the vacancy. LOVEBITES is growing in popularity, but they're not as big as Babymetal. Babymetal is a fusion group, and whether people like them or not, they offered something novel that caught on like wildfire. I love Babymetal, but I don't think it's a valid comparison to compare them to any other band because of how unique Babymetal is. Of course, I think comparisons from band to band are typically ignorant bullshit anyway, but I digress. As far as other bands go, if you'd like to see a couple of other five piece groups comprised of Japanese superwomen, check out "Dissension" by Nemophila and "Influencer" by BAND-MAID. If you'd like to see female fronted rock and metal from Japan, check out "Unending Sorceress" by Unlucky Morpheus and "Homura + Akatsuki no Ito" by Wagakki Band.
LOVEBITES' fourth album, "Judgment Day," released last month, topped the metal category rankings on iTunes in Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and elsewhere.
They were named after the Halestorm song. Congratulations, you just found the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song, “Judgement Day” on December 22. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics and is also getting involved in composing. In mid-2021, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They recently announced their new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist. Their first song with Fami is “Judgement Day” czcams.com/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/video.html The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Here are more clips you should check out: “Set the World on Fire” czcams.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/video.html from their 2021 concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”. “Don’t Bite the Dust” czcams.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/video.html, from the same concert; "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: czcams.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/video.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: czcams.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/video.html; Perhaps their greatest masterpiece, a showcase of multi-instrumental virtuosity and even classical dance “A Frozen Serenade” czcams.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/video.html; And their most reacted-to video, “Holy War”: czcams.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/video.html Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. If you want to see what she can do on the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. This link should work: czcams.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/video.html. For a thrasher with heavy Slayer and Metallica vibes, “Break the Wall” czcams.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/video.html includes two gorgeous and completely contrasting solos by M&M. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” czcams.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/video.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) Finally, while you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular: "Shadowmaker" czcams.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/video.html This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world "When Destinies Align" czcams.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/video.html "Glory to the World" czcams.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/video.html "Winds of Transylvania" czcams.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/video.html. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
Only thing i can add to the rest of the fans comments is Lovebites is perfection !..(respectfull suggestion) maybe stop the video for comments instead of talking through the video.. Thanks for reacting. A whole lot more greatness in store !
Glad you liked it, but don't just binge the album. You can get nine more "wow" reactions out of it. Once you get past how "hot" they are, and really focus on the music, you will realize they are a truly incomparable band.
congratulations, you have just discovered the best band on the planet ! 😀 metal + grace + elegance + beauty + sympathy + great musicians + great songs = LOVEBITES !!!

I LOL'ed when you compared Lovebites to BlackPink. I LOL'ed a second time when you guys had a little discussion about who your favourite (i.e. who is the hottest) member is.
Thanks a lot for reacting to LOVEBITES, one of the best metal bands in the world you can find right now. A little friendly suggestion for Mooney, please don't cut Matt's sentences. I mean, you gotta time your conversation, both of you. Cause I saw several times Matt didn't finish his sentence because you cut in. But other than that, great reaction!! Hope you continue reacting to LOVEBITES and other amazing Japanese all-female metal bands. Cheers!!
This is Matt. Thank you for the support. I will be sure to pass this on to Mooney. I think he was just excited : ) . We will definitely do more Lovebites and similar bands. Thank you again for your support
@@subfactspodcast definitely, it's clearly shown that you guys were so excited lol. Thanks for replying and responding to my comment and suggestion. I hope your channel grow big. Cheers!!
Well their MVs and studio work are flawless BUT you still haven't heard them till you experience them LIVE. They are flawless perfection defined, the talent in this band is just insane. Petite women who wear their femininity proudly and then in white dresses and high heels proceed to melt your face off. Anything LIVE except Bloodstock is great to show off their great stage presence Best new band in decades and their musicianship is unmatched. Try Set the World on Fire, Scream for Me or the masterpiece Swan Song with Chopin etude intro to see just how insane the talent truly is. Lots of great all female bands in Japan you just experienced the best.
Welcome to the Wolfpack today you have been lovebitten they have one song done in Japanese that Haruna the drummer wrote Bravehearted from their 1st EP the 1st album had bravehearted converted to english by singer Asami. Every song is awesome.
Well done spotting the Britney Spears influence, not many people get that. When they started out they wanted to be a combination of Judas Priest and Britney Spears, and it works so well 😉
The Japanese music community is a box of chocolate. You never know what you get. Some is very blend and directed to a commercial market. So kind of hit and miss. My journey started with BabyMetal, who by many is considered a gatekeeper. I first wanted to check out what this phenomenon was, after hearing about them at a reaction channel. For some reason the algorithm detected this , and one of these was Band-maid. I would highly recommend "Domination" (official live 2020) on their youtube channel first... Though my OCD wants to pick previous on the setlist "Play", because last note there is first to "Domination". If you catch my drift. Sings in Japanese blended with english lines and words.
Thanks for checking out Lovebites! :) Their name comes from a song all right, but it's from Halestorm ( Love bites... so do I ) You guys are in for a treat. They play mostly power/thrash metal , but there are some "slower" (at least to their standard :) ) songs in their discography also to let the audience catch some air during live shows. Yes! They can do this live too! See it for yourself! Check any of their live videos 😃 Now for some constructive criticism: 1, pls try to improve bandwidth/video quality. The viewed video was shown with like 4 fps and glitchy audio. Your commentary was fine. 2, Also I Can't go by that you guys were talking almost throughout the whole video. Which is technically the point as it's a reaction video ( if someone wants to hear the song they can look up the original) which you hopefully linked in the description (didn't check might edit comment later) however if you have something to say I'd suggest you pause say what you want then rewind 3-5 sec and continue. (But NEVER during guitar solos that's punishable by 💀 and serious amounts of dislikes unless you play the whole section again ) This way you might get to fully concentrate on the video and might pick up things you 'd have missed otherwise. 3. Before you stop/ edit out something give the artist the respect and play the full video. You missed the outro. Glad you both have your favorite members allready (we all do! 😁), but we also love them all. Hope you guys enjoyed the MV based on mostly their music and not just their looks, as they 're world class musicians 1st. The fact that they're all gorgeous is just a cherry on top! Members. Asami (vo) - she writes the lyrics., Midori (blonde guitarist with the cool haircut) Miyako (dark haired guitarist with her own Dean signature guitar) She is also the person "responsible" for at least 70-80% of their awesome songs . :) Haruna (dr) and the newest addition from 2022 Fami (ba). The band was on hiatus as their bassist/founder Miho left the band in 2021 for personal reasons. Also around this time Asami and Miyako got married and started their own families. Then fall 2022 they came back with this killer song. Their 4th album "Judgement Day" is already available All songs are face melting ;) Don't know if you figured this out already or not, but you just falled into a bottomless "pigeon hole " (you will understand one day 😂) called j-rock / J-metal . Here is a nother band for you to check out. Another all female Japanese band called Nemophila ( before you read it out loud the ending is PHILA like the 1st half of PHILAdelphia - just sayin' 😂) This band is a jack of all trades. From goofy cover songs like the "Minions banana song" to some hard metalcore like "Dissension" you won't find 2 songs that are alike. Check the song "Adabana" for some nice surprise(s) 😁 Subscription (s) has to be earned. (Mine at least) It will get you there. 😉
Lovebites quote: "We're not here to be cute, we're here to be heavy." Please, no Britney Spears comparisons, Bruce Dickinson or Dio maybe, but not Britney please. This is real music. Thankfully the future of rock and metal are safe in the hands of the Japanese. Lovebites is a band best experienced live. Check out the live versions of Holy War, Break the Wall, Set the World on Fire and Shadowmaker.
Welcome to Lovebites, not „chicks“, these are five of the most talented musicians on this planet, so it would be nice, if you show a minimum of respect and say Ladies or women and not chicks! I love your enthusiasm, but speak less and listen more! It‘s better to pause and speak during this break instead of talking all the time! I say this with all respect…please consider!😉 Greetings from Germany!👋
@Thorsten, although I understand your intent in saying "not chicks!" we music acknowledge that LOVEBITES have referred to themselves as 'chicks' in the song "Raise Some Hell" and I quote, "Who is playing?Who’s that chick?Shredding on guitar Who is playing?Who’s that chick?Heavy noise on bass Who is playing?Who’s that chick?Pounding on the drums Who am I?I’ve got a voice, it’s gonna knock you out " Due to this, I don't think the band is offended by the term "chicks" Nevertheless, to be respectful is always appropriate, as one would be to a mother, sister, or companion/wife. My issue that resulted in only watching part of this is the stutter-video and the extremely degraded music audio that does not allow new listeners to LOVEBITES to really appreciate the high quality of all their releases, CDs, Blu-rays/DVDs and other merchandise and, as you say, the CONSTANT talking.
@@dregeye Your right with the quote from Raise Some Hell and maybe it is true, that they have no problem with it! I understand these lyrics in another way, like…you only see us as chicks, meaning you don‘t take us seriously, but look how we play our instruments! We are much more than just pretty, stupid chicks!😉 We can raise some hell if we want and the „chicks“ will burn you! But that’s only my interpretation, who knows?🤷♂️ These five women are so strong, hard working and self confident, that I don‘t really think they would appreciate to be called as „chicks“! But as you said, respect is very important in this world and if somebody is so good in his job, like these Ladies, it should be respected…no matter what you do in life or if you are male or female! I tried to express my critic in a polite manner and somehow I like these guys and want them to improve, that was my intension! So…mind your words, be polite and do not talk constantly!😉

Theres alot of fantastic female led Metal bands out there. Nightwish which is one of the very best Your friend Mooney would really like them. with the voice of Soprano Floor Jansen. Give him something light like Ghost Love Score live at Wacken 2013, ARch Enemy which you showed Mooney. I wrote in your AE reaction about her cleans. They are gorgeous. Theres Epica which is a heavier Nightwish and they have a ton of amazing songs. Led by Dutch Soprano But heres a ballad that your friend would like. EPICA feat. APOCALYPTICA - Rivers (Live At The AFAS LIVE) was just released yesterday. EPICA - Abyss of Time (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) is a fantastic heavy intro to the band. And finally theres Jinjer. An amazing band from The Ukraine. Led by soulful clean singing and a deep growl similiar to Alissa from AE. Her name is Tatiana Shmayluk. JINJER - Pisces (Live Session) is always a good start. In the hard Rock realm theres The Warning who i think Mooney would love. The Warning - MONEY is a good start. The footage was taken at Arena Mexico infront of 70,000 where they were suporting the Foo Fighters.
Awesome reaction - just one small suggestion - talk less and listen more while the music is playing. Otherwise you will miss stuff. But absolutely this band is phenomenal. You will NOT be disappointed to get this album because it is quite possibly their best one. Midori and Miyako are among the greatest guitar duos ever. All their songs are in English, and, Asami, the vocalist, does have a pretty strong accent. She has gotten better over the years so you hardly hear it in this song, but you can in their older songs.
@Subfacts Podcast Enjoy your enthusiasm. However, suggest you stop talking over the video. When commenting, pause the video. Though most have already seen the video, you and any newcomers miss important nuisances in the music. You missed several in this video. (Pausing will aid in avoiding video being blocked and/or copyright claims/strikes.)
Quite probably the most talented group of musicians playing today. To get a really good overview of their total talent would be Swan Song with the Chopin Intro, or perhaps the Edge of the World. Honestly, you aren't going to find a video they do that isn't jaw-dropping though.

Another one of the great all-women Japanese bands you should listen to is Band-Maid. Check out the video for Onset official live. It is an instrumental that shows their prowess as musicians. After that move onto songs with vocals and you'll still be blown away
This is your channel. The last thing you need is some 'know all' demanding you make changes. There are so many reaction channels featuring Lovebites those who feel it necessary to drone on can go and look at other reaction channels that meet their inflated view of a good channel. Why people find it necessary to chastise you for your presentation style is abhorrent.
Thank you for checking us out and for your view point. We are new to reactions. The original goal was to make an add on to our main podcast, where we talk all things music, movies, tv, sports, and over all pop culture. We didn’t realize there were “rules” around them. I am not a fan of constantly pausing when I watch reactions videos. Then again I also understand that talking over the best parts can be annoying. We hope to find that sweet spot. The more pressing issue at the moment is getting the playback to look and sound better. We are working on that as well. Anyway Thank you again for checking us out and your comments.
Sorry but practically begging for likes before even seeing what you offer (the quality) is something that screams Dislike for me. Second, the lousy video quality is another point against it (very low frames per second). Third, you don't stop talking while the video is playing. If I could give them 3 dislikes I would. Sure, giving likes is easy, but you have to earn the likes. For that you need decent technical quality, a nice personality (you have that) and know when to talk and when to listen.
@@subfactspodcast I jest. Seriously, you’ll love their live concert performances even more. Check out their live in Zepp DiverCity performances of Holy War, Thunder Vengeance, and Swan Song with Chopin Intro. But buckle your seat belts.
I stopped halfway through. Way, way too much talking over the music for me. I suggest much less of that and pause the video a couple times if you have thoughts that won't keep. To me it's annoying as well as disrespectful to the artist. Maybe it's just me but I don't see how people can talk and hear the music at the same time - I sure can't. Yeah, I want your opinion, but I want to hear the song too. I'll try you again later.
@@subfactspodcast Yeah, I caught your "Holy War" reaction and had no complaints. You even gave Haruna lots of love. Sure can't complain about that. I'm now subscribed.
I am sorry but I need to leave. You guys will not stop talking. If you want to comment, stop the music. You cannot enjoy it while talking over the music. Awful.
I'll give a pass because you are new at this, but when it comes to phenominal music, focus on the music itself instead of who's playing (looks), although it's kind of hard 😁. If it was your typical sweaty metal guys you wouldn't be talking about looks. Also, just a tad less talking. I know you are here to react, but talking throughout is a little much as when I watched it just felt the music was in the background and not the focal point. Pus, you cut the ending off, and the red bar on the bottom even shows that.
In the name of all that's good and holy, PLEASE stop the non stop verbal chatter over the music and especially the solos. It's disrespectful to the band, the music and those of us watching the video that know you're missing stuff and not getting the full effect and enjoyment of the music just because you're talking to hear your own voices. 🤦♂️
If you want to talk, talk. But stop doing it over what you are reacting to. Also, because you are yakking over the video, WE can't hear what you hear with your headphones on, not even if we are wearing headphones ourselves. for this reason, I have to give you a thumbs down for this reaction. I will be watching to see if you fix this error, from my point of view. If there is no change, then I will not subscribe and I will probably not recommend your channel. However, I wish your podcast here much luck, anyway.
It's not just your "point of view". It's pure common sense. If you talk while there is music in the background, 2 things happen, you don't hear everything you should hear and those who watch the video don't hear the music or what they speak well...
No problem guys, just thought I'd "wind you up" a little. Have you tried "Frozen Serenade" (LOVEBITES) ? A beautiful work of art from these lovely ladies
Just so I'm clear, I never thought at any time in my life, I'd get into metal music. But, as an ex musician (is there such a thing though), I found LOVEBITES on a YT "recommended" list, so listened to "Holy War" live. Since that time, I kind of can't help watching/listening if I see anything of theirs, attracted by the production, with the music, the art, and at 76 years old, into metal... At least LOVEBITES Metal. I've managed to bring a few more old guys like myself into the Wolfpack too. (Just wish I was 30 or 40 years younger 😁😁🤟🎸)
@@antasy47This is Matt, while I am not 76, I am newer to metal around the world. I applaud your openness to checking out new music, especially metal. I started a side CZcams channel called Matt’s Mosh Pit where I explore all kinds of music around the world that is new to me. It has been predominantly different styles of metal from Europe. It’s been a fun journey learning all about these bands. You might like it. Once again I applaud you for being open to new music. I hope to be doing the same at 76.
I would say you can look better than you can hear. At the beginning, of course, she runs away from you, which I can understand. With all the babble you can get nothing of the music. Believe will no longer click on you and recommend
A constructive criticism is that its not good when you talk nonstop over the song. Better that you stop here and there and talk. Because in this format I as viewer get your feeling you are not really listening and youre just talking a lot of not thought though stuff instead of a genuine reaction... You do it better in other reactions I've seen and thats more enjoyable to me annyway... Take care / J
Too much talk both of you. Show some respect to the musicians. Pause then comment. Thats the right way to be a reactor. You keep nagging from begin to the end of the song.

The comments are almost like a hindrance, so if you don't stop the music, it's like you're just listening to a chat. You should think about it. The sound is also bad, so I can't bear to hear it.
Yeah they talked over the entire video. Oh well, good luck to them..
I can hear the song, plus if I wanted to hear the song, I know where to find it.
I’m not sure they really heard the song since they talked all the way through it. I tried to listen but, it just got nerve wracking
Thank you for checking us out and your comments. We will be sure to take this into consideration.
@@subfactspodcast The main thing is when talking you aren't listening to the music and you will miss a lot of their awesomeness.
(Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.)
Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
Thank you for your comments and for checking us out. We will definitely listen to more Japanese bands including Lovebites. Thank you again!
Fami Fami Fami! there is NO comparison between Asami and Britney for a start Asami DOES NOT need Autotune Her Voice is all Hers
Thank you for checking us out. Agreed Asami has a better voice
Welcome to Japan, the 2nd largest music market in the world! ❤️🎙🎸🎹🥁😎🤘
Didn't finish the video
Thank you for checking us out. I apologize for missing the outro. I was trying to miss the ads that follow
Thank you for checking us out and your comments. We will take them into consideration
Please give attention to the most "thumbs-up'd" comments (at this writing) that address 3 things,
1. stutter-frame-video of the band is a poor representation of the original video depriving your viewers of the high quality of all their works.
(granted, this is nit-picking! but true.)
Once more, most of this comment is in response to your request to offer constructive information, and my intent is to support you in 'producing' high-quality 'reaction videos' that will help your channel grow while also promoting artists you enjoy and admire.
My personal issues that resulted in only watching part of this is the stutter-video and the extremely degraded music audio that does not allow new listeners of LOVEBITES to really appreciate the high quality of all their releases, CDs, Blu-rays/DVDs and other merchandise [and the constant talking].
(some might say that LOVEBITES ought to be LOUD enough so you can't talk to each other!)
Believe me, IF I didn't think it will be fun to watch your LOVEBITES 'journey' I would not have taken the time to type all this !!
Welcome to LOVEBITES Wolf-Pack! \m/🐺\m/

HAVE FUN!!!

LOVEBITES is:
Haruna "little BIG Engine" drums (4'9"; 1.45m)
Asami "The One & Only Voice" vocals/piano (4'10"; 1.47m)
Midori "Crazy Shredder" guitar (4'11"; 1.5m) (the one on left)
Miyako "The Golden Touch" guitar/piano (5'2"; 1.58m) (The one on right)
Fami bass (new bass player since 2023)

@@subfactspodcast FYI - Always use the links the wolfpack provides rather than searching on titles in CZcams. There are several versions of these songs and the wolfpack will always provide you with the link to the best one. Avoid any footage from their Bloodstock concert as the audio was horrible due to a last second stage change for the band (not their fault) that left no time to setup and test the audio.
Stop inviting douchebags to the Wolfpack, we need true believers, not reaction whores.

We're glad we found them! We're definitely going to check out more from them. Thanks for the suggestions!
Awesome information! Thanks for the write-up! We'll check out your other suggestions!

@@subfactspodcast Lovebites is the best of these bands and the only one that sings in all English.
Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981).
Their first song with Fami is “Judgement Day” czcams.com/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/video.html
The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc.
As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."
Here are more clips you should check out:
“Set the World on Fire” czcams.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/video.html from their 2021 concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”.
“Don’t Bite the Dust” czcams.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/video.html, from the same concert;
"Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: czcams.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/video.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope.
Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: czcams.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/video.html;
Perhaps their greatest masterpiece, a showcase of multi-instrumental virtuosity and even classical dance “A Frozen Serenade” czcams.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/video.html;
And their most reacted-to video, “Holy War”: czcams.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/video.html
Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar.
For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” czcams.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/video.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both)
Finally, while you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular:

Stay safe. Stay Lovebites
Wow , thank you for the information and thank you for checking us out.
I LOL'ed when you compared Lovebites to BlackPink.
I LOL'ed a second time when you guys had a little discussion about who your favourite (i.e. who is the hottest) member is.
welcome to the world of Lovebites the world of beautiful ballads, heavy, power, speed, thrash metal.
Thank you for checking us out and warm welcome
We would love to see them live!
Welcome to the Wolfpack today you have been lovebitten they have one song done in Japanese that Haruna the drummer wrote Bravehearted from their 1st EP the 1st album had bravehearted converted to english by singer Asami. Every song is awesome.
Thank you for checking us out and for the warm welcome
Well done spotting the Britney Spears influence, not many people get that. When they started out they wanted to be a combination of Judas Priest and Britney Spears, and it works so well 😉
Welcome to lovebites, for me this is the best metal band, this ladys are so good so talented, LOVEBITES ROCK
Thank you for checking us out and for the warm welcome
Talk is nice, but...did you actually hear much of the song?
We apologize, we have since changed our past ways. if you check out our latest releases you will see the change.
:) Their name comes from a song all right, but it's from Halestorm ( Love bites... so do I )
You guys are in for a treat. They play mostly power/thrash metal , but there are some "slower" (at least to their standard :) ) songs in their discography also to let the audience catch some air during live shows. Yes! They can do this live too! See it for yourself! Check any of their live videos 😃
Now for some constructive criticism: 1, pls try to improve bandwidth/video quality.
Haruna (dr) and the newest addition from 2022 Fami (ba). The band was on hiatus as their bassist/founder Miho left the band in 2021 for personal reasons. Also around this time Asami and Miyako got married and started their own families. Then fall 2022 they came back with this killer song. Their 4th album "Judgement Day" is already available
All songs are face melting ;)
Don't know if you figured this out already or not, but you just falled into a bottomless "pigeon hole " (you will understand one day 😂) called j-rock / J-metal .
Here is a nother band for you to check out.
Another all female Japanese band called Nemophila ( before you read it out loud the ending is PHILA like the 1st half of PHILAdelphia - just sayin' 😂)
This band is a jack of all trades. From goofy cover songs like the "Minions banana song" to some hard metalcore like "Dissension" you won't find 2 songs that are alike.
Check the song "Adabana" for some nice surprise(s) 😁
Subscription (s) has to be earned. (Mine at least) It will get you there. 😉
Thank you for checking us out and for your suggestions
Lovebites quote: "We're not here to be cute, we're here to be heavy." Please, no Britney Spears comparisons, Bruce Dickinson or Dio maybe, but not Britney please. This is real music. Thankfully the future of rock and metal are safe in the hands of the Japanese. Lovebites is a band best experienced live. Check out the live versions of Holy War, Break the Wall, Set the World on Fire and Shadowmaker.
Thank you for checking us out and for your suggestions

there's plenty more, I'll wait,
We will definitely be doing more Lovebites. We are in the process of upgrading our computer, so things look better. Thank you for waiting.
They found each other in 2016. You said they play? They shred? Then I say who can out do this band?
Thank you for checking us out. They were really great
My 2 favorite live Lovebites are Set the World on Fire and Swan Somg with Chopin intro
We did a reaction to Swan Song, it was great. We need to check out Set the World on Fire. Thank you for watching
🤘🏽LOVEBITES RULES🤘🏽
Thank you for checking us out. Agreed, Lovebites Rules!!!
I say this with all respect…please consider!😉
Greetings from Germany!👋
@Thorsten, although I understand your intent in saying "not chicks!" we music acknowledge that LOVEBITES have referred to themselves as 'chicks' in the song "Raise Some Hell" and I quote,
"Who is playing?Who’s that chick?Shredding on guitar
Who is playing?Who’s that chick?Heavy noise on bass
Who is playing?Who’s that chick?Pounding on the drums
Who am I?I’ve got a voice, it’s gonna knock you out "
Due to this, I don't think the band is offended by the term "chicks"
Nevertheless, to be respectful is always appropriate, as one would be to a mother, sister, or companion/wife.

If you want to hear a drum solo, they have done a pretty good cover of Painkiller by Judas Priest.
Thank you for checking us out and your suggestion. We will definitely check it out.
Did you listen to the song?
We apologize, we have since changed our past ways. if you check out our latest releases you will see the change.
Babymetal are in Australia early June , Sydney Hordern Pavilion 9th . $117 standing price . ouch.
They are coming to America as well, but the only place close to us is a festival show, unfortunately
Thank you for the suggestions, we will check them out.
Thank you for checking us out and for your insight.
Yes, if you like this and Babymetal, then you'll definitely want to check out Nemophila too.
Thank you, we will check them out.
Quite probably the most talented group of musicians playing today. To get a really good overview of their total talent would be Swan Song with the Chopin Intro, or perhaps the Edge of the World. Honestly, you aren't going to find a video they do that isn't jaw-dropping though.
They are quite amazing!

Try out Unlucky Morpheus and Nemophila. Some of the newest and best music out recently.
Thank you for checking us out. We will absolutely be doing more from Lovebites. Thank you for the recommendations.
We apologize, we have since changed our past ways. if you check out our latest releases you will see the change.
Wow! Who’d a thunk it?! Japanese chicks who can shred heavy metal! What’ll they think of next?!😂

@@subfactspodcast I jest. Seriously, you’ll love their live concert performances even more. Check out their live in Zepp DiverCity performances of Holy War, Thunder Vengeance, and Swan Song with Chopin Intro. But buckle your seat belts.

Thank you for checking us out. We have received a few requests for Band Maid, so we will 100% do a reaction for them. Thank you for your suggestion.
We apologize, we have since changed our past ways. if you check out our latest releases you will see the change.
@@subfactspodcast Yeah, I caught your "Holy War" reaction and had no complaints. You even gave Haruna lots of love. Sure can't complain about that. I'm now subscribed.
@@daveminers3404 Thank you for the second chance : )
I am sorry but I need to leave. You guys will not stop talking. If you want to comment, stop the music. You cannot enjoy it while talking over the music. Awful.
We apologize, we have since changed our past ways. if you check out our latest releases you will see the change.
@@subfactspodcast Thanks. Will do. Good luck.
@@bmharveydpe thank you for the second chance. Check out the reaction to Holy War.
Apologies, we just couldn't help ourselves. They are as talented as they are beautiful!
Brittany Spears dude????????
That was at first listen. I still hear a slight similarity in their voices, but then again I like Brittany's voice.
We apologize, we have since changed our past ways. if you check out our latest releases you will see the change.
You guys should check out Nemophila...another all girl metal band from Japan that kick ass!!!
Awesome, thank you for your suggestion. We will check them out.
We apologize, we have since changed our past ways. if you check out our latest releases you will see the change.
I'd like it better if y'all didn't keep rabbiting over the music ... Don't disturb a LOVEBITES song 🤟😁
We have since learned, please check out our other reactions. We have done a bunch of Lovebites reactions.
No problem guys, just thought I'd "wind you up" a little. Have you tried "Frozen Serenade" (LOVEBITES) ? A beautiful work of art from these lovely ladies
Thank you, we will check it out
Just so I'm clear, I never thought at any time in my life, I'd get into metal music.

A little less talking while the song is playing would help.
We apologize, we have since changed our past ways. if you check out our latest releases you will see the change.
