I was so lucky to meet them all in London on the opening of Abba Voyage...I will never forget that moment...I love Abba so much.
Agnetha looking like a long haired hippie flower princess here 😍 I LOVE the song... but I do not understand why the theme of the TV performance was camping! The tent and the bunk beds and those chairs...
... I'm with you .. GREAT song, and always been one of my faves from ABBA .. So simple but so sweet .. But the video was definitely out there ! .. Some nice shots, and Agnetha looked so cute, but the camping theme and all the other stuff going on was a bit confusing .. Still, I love to see any footage of young ABBA, so it was still good to see it.
I suspect camping is somehow associated with summer in Scandinavia. Which kind of ties in with the song, with the lyrics to do with the loss of spring/summer love.

For Frida leads, I'll recomend "I Still Have Faith in You" and "No Doubt About It" from the Voyage album. She recorded her vocals when she was...76, I think?...and she sounds amazing.
I love "No Doubt About It" ! .. It's my second favourite song from Voyage, behind "Don't Shut Me Down", and Frida really nails it .. She and Agnetha still sound fantastic in their 70s !

He did "I still have faith in you", but it was blocked! We'll just have to wait for it to be unblocked. And yes, I think they recorded most of the songs for Voyage when Frida was around 76. Am amazed at how she still sounds so good!

Yes, tomorrow August 31. Will be an interview with her on BBC 2 where they'll play her new song. Rumored though being from the A sessions in 2012/13. The album will be released October 13. The deluxe version is the A album with the new song, the second cd a reimagined/reworking of The A album, hence the A+ title. Maybe a bit disappointing when most of us thought it would be an album with new songs. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to it. Curious on how they have reimagined the A album, how it will sound and in what way they have changed it. Still pop or completely different.

I always remember it as a timeless song, even when I was a lil kid in the '80s, it was the kind of song you would hear on the Easy Listening even AM radio stations, grandparents of that day would also be found listening. As ever, intersectional timeless magical pop mastery.

Hey there, ❤ the reaction as always. If you want to get the best of Frida so to speak, I suggest the "Visitors" album where there's more focus on her. No solo career as such for Benny, but after Abba him and Björn went on to writing musicals "Chess"(English) and "Kristina from Duvemåla" (Swedish). And hey Abba nation, Agnetha is about to drop new music!

@@Bklynreau in total they released 172 songs across their time together, including songs in other languages. My source is pretty reliable. Their catalogue is huge and complicated. You are far from the end of your ABBA journey.

Try "mad about the boy" n incredible jazz song she did so great. It's in English but you can really hear her cute accent. Hey Leah .. I agree with your thoughts on "Mad About The Boy" .. I only just watched the video of it a few days ago, and Frida sings it brilliantly .. She looks and sounds so elegant, classy and sultry .. And her accent is not only cute here, but it makes the song even more sensual and interesting for me .. Good suggestion !

I actually heard "Mad About the Boy" in a grocery store the other day! Not Frida's version but someone's actual recording. I stood there for a moment in shock. I have NEVER heard that song outside of a Frida context and never without deliberately looking for it.
