- Here are some tips for the experienced or even newest of GTA V Police Roleplayers. I thought I might as well share my knowledge of this stuff before I start making videos on LSPDFR. Well I’m kinda experienced with police role playing a while ago me and my friend Ryan role play on Minecraft PS4 edition the good old days before we got minecraft bedrock edition on PS4 I love the role plays to do with your friends and on a city or a town or just location in a game

what I do is I use a name gen for the suspects, then use lscp's police computer to run names, and use sandy shores police website to generate a callout, and maybe radio scanner for ambience

U roleplay on Xbox
The thing I hate about the xbox version is that there's no vicinity perimeter for talking, what I mean is if you're in a rp session with 15 other people then you hear most of them all talking at the same time instead of it being you and whoever your within talking distance with. I know they have this for the PC, not sure if they have it on PS, hope they'll put this in on RD2 as I'm looking forward to doing some rp on that.
They don't have it on PC, nor on Playstation. Atleast to my knowledge that isn't possible without mods. This was going to be a feature but was scrapped before Online was even added to GTA 5.

At 9:52, police lights aren’t only to show that you’re there. They’re a way of saying that there’s an emergency

Kind of adding on to tip 3 if your at a kidnapping call or a abusive dad or something like that also dont turn on your lights and sirens because they will be prepared and hide or kill the person

*Pressing the right thumb stick twice will do a Siren Honk what will do a Honk with the Siren audio and they will stop too*

Look up what director mode is and you should be good from there.

Where did you get the Police Buffalo? Have been looking for a while but I don’t seem to find them...
They spawn around the La Mesa area near the police station, you kind of have to be lucky. Try looking around Legion Square.

So I’m in director mode and I’m the same character, however I can’t pull people over and every time I try getting in a cop car they shoot me. Lol help
put your wanted level to disabled turn off restricted mode and if you want you can turn on invincibility

I am not too sure about playing in online. Try looking for clans to join and you should be good.
You could look for clans or get a job from social club and get some friends to join and enjoy some rp

U can make a custom capture or Deathmatch, and then put police cars and weapons in and rp like that, that's how I do it

How did you get the cop car undamaged in director mode since u can't use cheats to fix it and what do you do if you wanna call backup in director mode and a way for more realistic arrests ( no mods )
You save it on one of the main 3 characters PURCHASED garages.

Good tips but should the radio hogging apply to dispatch?
Short answer: Yes.
Long Answer: No; there is generally different rules that apply when it comes to dispatchers, and it depends on how much information you have to give out over the radio. But in general, you should avoid having sentences that go on longer than 30 seconds, and if you need to continue talking, say "Break", then wait a few seconds and resume talking. If you break up your speech into sections, it can allow officers time to update their statuses, and ensure that you aren't talking over an officer that might need help. As long as you give clear and concise information about what your dispatching, you should be fine.

No, police lights aren't to show that Ur there, there for emergencys and to show that there is an emergency, so if Ur going down a highway at 2:30am then you only need Ur lights on to show that odd car that they need to move for an emergency
Police lights *are* to show that you are there. If you respond to a call without your lights on, and it is very dark outside, no one will know that you are there. No one will pull over. Have you ever noticed that police turn their lights on when they are handling traffic at the scene of an accident? That is to show that they are there, because big flashy lights grab attention. It makes people see they are there and, makes people slow down.

This isn't the police uniform, it is something called "Director Mode" that allows you to play as a bunch of characters on console. To open director mode, bring up your phone in game while in single player, go to the contacts, and look for the "Casting Up" contact.
