All New Brake Lines! - 55 Chevy Gasser

In this video I install about 75% of the brake and fuel lines. I'm still waiting on 1 fitting to adapt the new 1/4 inch line to the factory 3/16 rear flex hose. I used all new Copper- Nickel line and it was super easy to bend and flare. I highly recommend it!

Good progress on the lines and firewall looks good too. I used those same clamps on my 56 worked out great! Want to get a flaring tool comes in handy. LOL...I first saw the manicured nails and thought wth. Then I realized....:) haha.

You know I like it. How about a line lock while you're at it. I was wondering if you were going to put a drive shaft loop in. Old school bolt on traction bar's would be good to avoid rear u joint failure. Rear will hold up. My idea of this is lock to get tires to bust loose quick so they spin and let off before hook. On these cars we had rear u joint failure from spring wrap up. Loop always good for safety and would be legal for competition. Your car is going to look great and crank. Can't wait for more.

Did you use factory shocks for 55 on the back or something shorter ?

Yup I used the factory shocks. It's only about and inch shorter.
