Great video, your hair came out lovely! Adding water first then the gel makes more define curls. Water does not dry out the hair but adds hydration, cheers & keep up the great work!😊

Would've been nice to see the dry results as the true results are not known until the hair is dry.

The opposite of dry is oily, not wet. Why do you use water? Water dries out the hair more.

My hair was previously blowed out so I needed water to get it to it’s natural state hence why I used the gel to define my natural hair, hope you understand 😊

@@i_am_nowii You said you have dry air and you want to hydrate it with water. That is why I said they opposite of dry hair is oily hair, not wet hair. I always hear women saying they are using water to moisturise their hair. They don't understand that they should not be 'moisturising' with water. That is not what water does, and water has no place in the regimen except to wash the hair, once every 2-3 weeks max. More frequently dries out the natural oils that soften the hair and makes it feel good, and makes it drier. You said you have dry hair. And then using the gel to clump the hair to make it look curly rather than kinky, that gel will also dry out your air. So you keep using the cause of the problem.

      Very true thanks for that.

@@jouezmoithis is untrue. The opposite of dry is hydrated. Water is used to hydrate the hair; oils, butters and creams are used to seal in hydration and moisturise the hair. Greasy/oily hair is NOT the same as moisturised and hydrated hair

@@MfundoNdala LOL. Have you read what you said? You obviously have not studied biology or chemistry. I guess you hydrate your dry skin with water too. LOL. Your body makes everything it needs. It does not make water to soften your skin and hair because that is not what it needs. It has sebaceous glands that make natural oil for your skin and hair. You really need to study what hair is, what it needs and how the body creates it, and what is necessary to supplement the oil from the sebaceous glands to get to the entire hair shaft, which is the challenge with kinky hair because of its structure. And its not water. Go ahead and use water and keep wondering why you have to keep putting a bunch of stuff in your hair because it is always dry.
