  • I am super excited to share my Platinum Card method using Schwarzkopf Blondme. My guest had a very long regrowth because of the Rona Virus. So I used the Platinum Card Method to get to the blonde hair she needed. I didn't use olaplex in this application. Schwarzkopf has bond builder in the lightener already.

    I used Blondme lightener with 7 vol. I would apply the bleach to the foils a 1/2' from the scalp. NO DON'T HAVE TO FOLD THE FOILS TOO MUCH. Watch the hair lifting when it is 1/2 way there.
    u can apply the bleach to the scalp. Use the foils as a pre sectioned to place the lightener between.
    This is apart of my Blondme Schwarzkopf series. Please comment below I would love to hear if you want more info on this video.
    I used the Ashlee Norman Foil board. I am in love with this foil board. I am not affiliated with her products yet. I wish it was.

    My girl thank you for sharing this, this was very informative, and very good information, your clients hair turned out seamless, and very natural looking, her hair doesnt have that over processed look.
    How awesome my hair and your hair is similar in cut, style, and color. You appear to be a well rounded stylist and your facilitation skills were great. Cant wait to try this on my clients.

    Fascinating! I really can’t believe that you use 7vol with the blondme! That’s wonderful. If she didn’t have such long regrowth, would you have done different volume and ratios? Like, if she had a reasonable 5 week growth? Also, due to the video, I can’t accurately tell her starting level -is she a 6?

    • @thecuriousstylist8531

      Blondme developers are made to go with the Blondme Lighteners. But 7 vol is 7 vol. It will effect the consistency and not the lift.

    So if someone doesn’t go this long what is the ideal amount of time to go for a double process retouch 3 weeks 4 weeks? Or is there an ideal length for the outgrowth to be like 1/2 inch?

    • @thecuriousstylist8531
      @thecuriousstylist8531  Před 3 lety

      Ideal is 3-4 weeks. After 5-6 there will be banding. Anything more than 1/2 inch is too long

    • @thecuriousstylist8531
      @thecuriousstylist8531  Před 3 lety

      Wigs are not usually colored with haircolor they are colored with fabric dye. So bleaching can be different. THe wig needs to be 100% hair also. I would use 20 vol and never 40 vol

      @@thecuriousstylist8531 I normally bleach it until the color is raised to a yellow then tone it but can never find the right color toner for the light blonde shade I want. I know the hair has to be 100 human thts what I get. 20v won't get it to the high level I think I'm going to try 30v, I just hate having to do it twice to get it to the light level. I've used 40v. I'm only doing highlights not all over bleaching

    • @thecuriousstylist8531
      @thecuriousstylist8531  Před 3 lety +1

      It is better to bleach twice. Use a lower peroxide the second time. It won’t be as damaging with a lower volume like a 7 or 20. 40 vol is not recommended with this bleach. Suggesting a toner is difficult since it’s something I don’t do till I’m looking at the hair and how it lifted. I like royal 9.5-1. But this is a very rudimentary suggestion. Toning is another beast altogether.

      @@thecuriousstylist8531 sorry english is not my mother tongue. In order to obtain the light color you are wearing in this video, starting from Hair level 4 or 5 - with natural dark roots and tint on the rest). I Guess it requires two different procedures: Blonde me on the tinted part in order to remove it than use a toner, on the roots I don’t know maybe Just a toner with developper 20 or 30. On CZcams we have a lot of tutorial about light blonde/platinum hairs, but it is hard to find good ones as yours that stops the at level 6 or 7 and Toning with warm Shades. I hope it is clear now 😊

    hi i’m gonna bleach my hair at home i did a lot of research so i kinda know what i’m doing and i absolutely WONT use vol 40. I’m gonna order blondme 9% and 2 developers but i really don’t know which volume to choose. I have to bleach all my hair and it’s VERY dark almost black and i have a sensitive scalp so i was thinking about taking an higher volume for the ends and a lower one for the roots but i really don’t know which one to chose. Should i take a 30 and a 20 (so i can use a 25 for the ends and a 20 for the roots) or a 30 and a 7 (almost 20 for the ends and 7 for the roots) or a 20 and a 7 (almost 15 for the ends and 7 for the roots)?? Please help me! Anyway your video was very helpful

      I have been a stylist for 25+ years. I wouldn’t bleach my own hair with a Platinum card method by myself. Too much can go wrong with it. There are so many components to making sure you get it right and it’s so time-consuming. You would get exhausted. I can’t recommend this
