Hey there, in this "Big Guy" review, I share my personal experience with the Inmotion Climber. If you're a big guy looking for a scooter that can handle hills with ease, this is the one for you! Join me as I dive into its features, put it to the test on the challenging "hill of death," and provide you with an honest analysis of its strengths and weaknesses.
I was immediately impressed by the Inmotion Climber's twin motors, each boasting an impressive 450 watts. It delivers that extra speed and power big guys like us need to conquer those tough hills. Trust me, it's a pretty awesome scooter! Plus, it has a weight capacity of 140 kilograms (304 pounds), perfect for us larger individuals.
One of the things I appreciate about this scooter is its portability. Weighing in at around 24 kilograms (50 pounds) and featuring a convenient folding mechanism, it's a breeze to carry around. You won't break your back trying to lift it, and it's even manageable with just one hand.
The Inmotion Climber offers three different modes to suit your riding style. Whether you prefer a leisurely stroll in pedestrian mode, a comfortable ride in regular mode, or that extra burst of speed in the sport mode, this scooter has got you covered.
Now, let's talk about comfort. While it lacks suspension, the air-filled pneumatic tires, measuring 10 inches, do a decent job of absorbing bumps. During my ride, I found it surprisingly smooth, even though I initially had concerns about the lack of suspension. It definitely feels robust and well-built.
The scooter features both electronic and mechanical brakes, ensuring reliable stopping power. However, I did find the brakes to be a little on the weaker side. Personally, I might fine-tune the mechanical brake to add some extra bite. But hey, it's not a deal-breaker considering the speeds you typically reach on this scooter.
Throughout the review, I also discuss the Inmotion Climber's user-friendly app, which provides essential information such as distance covered, battery life, and more. It's a handy tool for tracking your rides and staying informed. It's a pretty awesome app. It's quick, easy to navigate and it just works :)
So, if you're a big guy like me in search of a powerful scooter that can handle hills with confidence, I highly recommend checking out the Inmotion Climber. Join me in this video as I share my thoughts, experiences, and final verdict on whether it's the perfect fit for you. Trust me, this big guy-approved scooter won't disappoint!

I had the NIU kqi3 Max, and I hated it. THIS is the better scooter IMO. It has a larger 15ah battery (kqi3 Max is 13ah), has the dual 450 watt, 750 watt peak motors (kqi3 Max is 450 watt, 900 peak), and is about the same price, BUT performs much better (it KILLED the HILL OF DEATH!!!). Overall, a wonderful scooter for us bigger bros (240lbs here). Thanks for the excellent review Tim.

Does the app allow you to create speed limits? These are technically illegal in my country, but law enforcement only checks the speed. So if you can limit it to the legal speed without being able to adjust it on the scooter (ie change speed without the app) you can get way with it.
