What an instrumental pair of music legends got it going on and happening on stage to all fans admiring this performance of a lifetime..Great musicians going viral..great singer ..Ry Cooder on stage playing his famous guitar and rockin it..entertaining is fulfilling to all in first class seats..fantastic duo..let the good times roll..Never be forgotten
September 20th, 2005, Madison Square Garden: Buckwheat, Ry Cooder playing what sounds like barbed wire through a foghorn (and I mean that in a GOOD way), and Lenny Kravitz. This was a benefit following Hurricane Katrina. Kravitz understands: If you are ever blessed to find yourself on the same stage as Ry, and you're playing guitar, too, just turn WAY down...
As great as this performance is...and it is. The most incredible version of "Rock Me Baby," must be by Lee Michaels -- that rocker back in the 70's who played a nuclear powered Hammond organ with just a heavy duty monster drummer. If I am to be questioned...listen to Lee's "Rock Me Baby," first. It will peel the paint from your walls and crack your plaster.
let's say : even Kravitz is acceptable when he doesn't sing ! His cocky show off is another thing to ignore.....but they needed some young frontman to wetten the girls underwear....

RIP, Stanley. What a great entertainer.
The sound man has the same opinion of Kravitz as I. A whole lot less is a whole lot more.
Lighten up on Kravitz...he brought me sushi when I was bartending in the Quarter...not that I had the time to eat it..but shit....nice thing to do

RIP. You left this world a better place!
Are there any superstars that Ry Cooder hasn’t teamed with? Two greats complement each other!
..Lenny Kravitz should also be included to make the TRIANGLE ANGLE ? .
