Ridiculous Recordings (Warning: Cringey)

A collection of random, weird, obnoxious audio recordings that were, for the most part, completely improvised.
When I was little, I always carried around a tape recorder (both miniature and regular-sized), recording random things, and slowing some down/speeding some up to make them sound cool/scary/funny. Some of these are recreations of improvised comical audio skits I recorded by myself when I was bored, talking in different voices and synchronizing them with various sound effects using things around the house. Sometimes I would do retakes (I was very young, and had no concept or capability of post-production). Those tapes are all long gone, but some of those recordings I still remember vividly.

Heh, thanks! Basically, I just grew up constantly making different voices and recording little audio skits with them. When I got older and learned post-production, I started recording them digitally and editing them. For some reason, my mind will just randomly come up with things like this (especially if I'm bored or not mentally engaged in anything at the time). I even have others that I haven't recorded, and some that I already recorded in the past, but were more based on inside jokes that really only my family would understand. x)

Wait the deep and women voices, were those your natural pitched voices or did you edit it to make it lower and higher pitched?

For the higher pitched voices (the women and children), I spoke in a higher pitch than normal, then sped them up a bit. For the deep voices, I either just spoke in my natural voice or an intentionally goofy-sounding one, before slowing them down.

I've that about that, but so far the only actual voice acting I've done is for my own games. Such as Miles and dead Myrtle and Sullivan in "Black Rose", and the man on the speaker in "Captured". Maybe some day!
