Basketball is an art. Gracefulness of handling the ball is one characteristic that a player must posses. Dribbling between legs is a must for a professional or wanna be a player. Although you don't get any points just for dribbling. Fan pays to see you handle it skillfully to deliver the ball on your way to the basket. This video is great. Hope to give the tricks in detail that the receiving hand carries the ball before it pops the ball back to the other leg.

Hey coach, I am 6'3 and 14 and I'm the captain for my team. However, I often struggle to drive and create space using my handle because I play against people my age but they're so small! So they're quicker than me and it's a lot easier for them to anticipate where i'm going when I do a move because of the difference in size. Also, because of the size difference I am constantly taking hits because they try to contest me when I do get to the hoop. Any tips you can give me to become more dominant as a player, be able to create space and drive without creating tons of contact? Thanks.

Arnold Ony I’m in a similar situation, I’m 6 feet and I’m going to start 8th grade and what I do is I mix up my moves, you can do a between the legs and have the ball far back so they try to reach, them go behind the back and maybe like step back, I also spin around them, and either step back or drive to make room. Idk if it will help you or not but i hope it helps.
