I love how sarcastic this song is. Like it’s so uptempo and sounds like a nice happy song about growing up and wanting to be an adult. Until you actually grow up and realize that this song is actually talking about how much reality hits hard and the world is such a hard place to handle and you wish you were a kid again... *sigh*

It does beautifully define a "Quarter-Life Crisis", and the terror of realizing you are now fully responsible for making your career work, building a group friends, and finding a partner in life.
But, that moment is a call to action to take on whatever challenges put in front of you, and become the person you always wanted to be.
Does it suck? Is it stressful? Yah - but if you learn to embrace it, and get to that other side? It's quite beautiful, and you can laugh at it the way this song does.

I remember it like it was yesterday; I was 15 and the world had just stopped for everybody. I remember how my tiny window revealed a quiet, cloudy world. I felt alone. I felt like everybody was gone. Until a strange melody begun to spill into my ear drums. I stared at my window in anticipation and curiosity as the melody began to etch itself into the moment. The lyrics drove me into a world I was beginning to know all too well. As I’ve grown older this world has changed so much and so has what this song means to me. I used to believe this was a song about the crippling pain and fear of loneliness; how it’s a curse that you should try to avoid. Now I think it’s a song about growing up and understanding that loneliness is a part of life and once you accept it you’ll understand that you’re not truly alone. Thank you Paramore, for this wonderful song.

I used to be terrified of becoming an adult. All the adults around me would emphasize: "Just you wait till you're an adult, than you'll learn just how tough it is", I always thought to myself; "If this is how tough it is being a child I don't really want to become an adult", but honestly I find being an adult much easier. Some of us came from quite neglected backgrounds. And we are all so glad that our childhood ended.
So, in a way this is quite a happy song for me.

Josh and Zac left paramore to start their own band which is a flop while paramore is still as successful as ever. Lol I remember I had a stupid fight with my mom and I decided to cut my family off and be on my own " it's time to grow I don't need these people" ..
A couple of weeks later I got arrested for Assault GBH ( a fight my landlord started then she went to press charges coz she lost) . It was on a Friday so I knew I was spending the weekend in jail. And the first phone call I made was to my mama , there was no " I told you so " or anything like that she didn't ask questions she just came through for me, got me a great lawyer, flew out to be with me aaand wow .. as long as she's still alive I'll always cry to my mama!! And I was singing this song the whole weekend in those holding cells lol

takes me back to summer of 8th grade year going into high school. i remember this one specific grad party i went to, my whole friend group ended up at one of our friends house who had a big pool and sound system and we just vibed all night till like 3 am swimming and enjoying life without a care in the world. sad when you cant see many of them anymore because of life. but you can wish nothing but the best for them wherever life takes them.

Rephrase: They've always been rock.Just because 1D or 5SOS has guitar and drums doesn't make them a strong form of the genre. They sound like Pop Teen Rock which is really diluted. Paramore entertains the mass and keeps the sound. They're still POP PUNK. They started that way.

This isn't rock- and it's naive to think that based off just the instruments. I have no problem with the new paramore I actually like it- and I welcome the pop because in the wise words of Pete Holmes- "everyone has a place in their heart for pop music"
