He's set a new standard for judges in TV crafts competitions. If the judge doesn't tear up when checking out your Wellington or your summer dress or your flan, you know you've not done as well as could be. Because you didn't get a Keith, sorry.

I'm highly sensitive and autistic, and seeing someone else cry over their favorite thing is super heartwarming because I know this feeling. The overwhelm of something you love so much that all you can do is cry and hope to not have everybody around feel awkward about it 🥲 That was a great thing to watch 🥰

I'd say he's moved by the progressive accomplishments of the participants. Have you ever done pottery, I think perhaps you have not? Using glazes to a high level is very difficult. You put on a glaze and everything changes in the kiln, it could takes years of experimentation to master. The works that moved him had very masterful use of glaze, and the one had really understood proportion, form and function on top of that. These are subtle and practical things which few people will accomplish.

Respectfully disagree. I think the handle on Claire's coffee pitcher was graceful looking, but more important to me, well engineered for functionality. Gotta love checking both boxes!
You can see the balance at 3:02. It looks like the top part would be where you held it when full and your hand moves down the handle as it empties to keep having it balance well as it pours.
It has a similar curve to the stabilizing handle on my weed eater. I'm going to steal that trick.
