I will explain to him why people use 30 round magazines. And that is all the military uses to, ONLY 30 ROUNDS not unless they are shooting like a 50 caliber BMG, then yes then that would be 100 rounds at a time they shoot.
First of all its usually 15 to 30 round magazines, that most shooters have, NOT 100 round magazines like he keep saying. I don't think they even make 100 round magazines.
People shoot 30 round magazines cause people don't have to reload every 30 seconds to every minute if its only like a 5 round magazine, like in bolt action rifles.

Piers... This is why people have AR's. First - ask the cops on your show why they use AR's. 2) Ask cops that have AR's, if they would turn them in upon retirement. Some cops are issued AR's to match or overpower a criminal (s). Don't believe me .., go ask a cop. Don't ask Gen S Mc who said that only military should have them, which is a slap in the face to law enforcement in this country.

I love and respect our military, but want to bring up the point that some cops here are issued AR's. Don't be in denial that evil exists and several people put their lives on the line for you and have AR's. several cops use AR's to protect their own families, so why wouldn't 'law abiding people want the same tools and training to protect their own family?
