Hey Man I don't know if you're ever gonna get a chance to read this. Due to personal circumstances and just where my life was headed, I had to stop making music around 2017. And slowly but steadily this year I've been slowly starting to get back into the groove of things. There was a point anywhere I honestly was gonna throw everything up in the air and just quit. But it's thanks to people like you that make videos like this that give me enough drive and reason to not give us something that really saved my life in a way. I know for you this is just another video upload. But for me, this was just the thing I needed to try and make music again and hopefully, hopefully, hopefully... Not give up this time. I've been wanting to say this for a long while, but we met way back in 2017 at 529 in Atlanta. It was one of the best shows I have had the pleasure to stumble into. Between your bangin' performance and Mariah Parker performing her set while riding on a bicycle ... I was blown away. After your set, we spoke briefly and you were one of the nicest, coolest, chill vibe cats I've ever met. I'm a big fan of how you chop the stuff you play on keys or synth and create a completely different composition from what you played. It's basically using the sampler as manuscript paper to work out your own original ideas. It's great.

i used to have that exact same DDR pad for my Ps1 Konamix. i used to have to duct tape it to the floor when i'd try to play songs like Dead End on Insane, because it would scoot around so much LOL. that didn't stop the top layer of the pad from shifting around, while the bottom layer stayed stuck to the floor ahahahaha.

Hey John not sure if you check comments regularly but a cool idea would be a video on using the iPad to make beats, I remember people on ig giving you grief about how it’s not how you make real beats, and it would be interesting to see you working with the pad again just for any young or new comers that feel intimidated to get started when seeing everyone using big drum machines.
