- "The purpose of the tunnels is comply with all the military
and terror needs of Hamas."
The IDF will likely use a mix of raids and bombing to destroy and clear as much of the Hamas tunnel network as needed says Joel Ruskin, a former Israel Defence Forces terrain analyst.

I keep seeing the beach in Gaza and think of the resorts they could have built instead of war tunnels.
Hamas has controlled Gaza since 2007, for 16 years now. They have never tried to build an economy there. Their only interest is political control, nothing else. The unemployment rate is 47%; that tells you everything you need to know. Gaza is totally dependent on the UN for its food, its medical services and its schools. The UN has been happy to make them a dependent people. The UN is a major part of the problem; they are not part of the solution.
Yes, it's all beautiful beach! They built a couple, for the millionaires and billionaires who took foreign aid and put it in their pockets.
What’s done on OCTOBER 7,2023? Why Lebanon 🇱🇧, Iran 🇮🇷, Egypt 🇪🇬,Syria , Qatar 🇶🇦, Turkey 🇹🇷 and other Countries did not condemn Hamas, Hijbullah, Huji, Huti and other terrorists groups for killing innocent civilians in Israel 🇮🇱?
The idea that you can wage a war from underground, while your opponent dominates all of the land above you 'virtually unopposed' is ridiculous.
Those tunnels will be cleared regardless of how many, or how deep they dig. It is not possible to dig an escape from the Justice that is headed their way.
The Israeli military is facing heavy loses already, even with U.S. support. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

Seismic imaging up to 4000 meters deep over large area
I don’t believe that seismic imaging can see tunnels.
@@terjeoseberg990 It actually does that very well since seismic waves will not propagate through voids so they show up nicely. The problem in this case would be finding someone willing to walk the streets and place the geophones, then survey them in.

@@rockbutcher, What’s the wavelength of the seismic waves vs the size of the tunnels? I believe that seismic waves have quite a long wavelength. Too long to see 3 foot by 6 to 7 foot tunnels.

Tunnels are tombs , solutions exist in large canisters .. turns tunnels into tombs
you read me right
The theorizing of tunnel network seems to avoid two basic needs, power and ventilation. It will not be an easy task to provide either power or fresh aur to all these tunnels during normal times but almost impossible during a siege and blitz scenario as is the current case. I find it strange that Israel would have not invested more in infiltrating Gaza during the last 15 years , as they would be aware of the tunnel strategy and the process requires a huge effort to remove soil and the installation of an immense amount of prefabricated tunnel supports . It is surprising to find Israel are so foolishly confident in their self belief that they appear so ignorant of the abilities of others. In many ways they follow the manners of Russia.
They fly surveillance drones over Gaza every day and have done for years.
They don’t have wires and tubes in Gaza?
The UN keeps pumping money to allow them to continue to dig more tunnels.
Since Israel left Gaza in 2005, it has no access to anything that's going on there. Palestinian authorities (first Fatah, then Hamas) have complete authority. Israel has tried to set all sorts of non-human intelligence gathering, but it has very limited capability. Hamas just went around it. For example, it created a separate land line phone network to be used only in tunnels, which is not connected to cell phones.
One cannot replace human intelligence-gathering.
Did it never occur to you that Israel only wants peace? They should never have needed to invest in any countermeasures against Hamas. Israel never starts a war except when under attack, or the threat of attack.
That is Why the US needs to get on top of the Border Crisis. Siccario makes the case for dealing with tunnels and bunkers. Currently it's ally ally in come free.
I’m curious. Why doesn’t Abbott protect the Texas border?
Perhaps water drilling equipment can puncture a tunnel segment after an explosive charge is dropped in the shaft.
The Eqyptians have also waged a long battle against Hamas tunnelling into Egypt (for smuggling in supplies) and they have used above ground drills and then filling any tunnels with seawater or raw sewage. Since these tunnels have no drainage its quite effective.
You can’t live for a long time in tunnels…limited air, no sun, etc…let them live there! Lol
Why doesn't Israel use a Seismic Sweep / VibroSeis machines to identify tunnel system?
Perhaps they do but not revealed to methods for many resons
Can these methods see tunnels?
It does, but their capacity is limited.
Those require machinery on the surface which is impossible in Gaza
@@terjeoseberg990Ground Penatrating Radar can see all voids and earth disturbances below ground.
Many below ground surveys are performed before civil engineering projects are started for example.
tunnel is intricate shud be cautious, not to go into them, puzzling guerilla attack type, hit and run, so IDF shud be rational b4 attacking☹
There will never be a free Palestine while there is still Hamas. Whether Israel has what it takes to follow through, only time will tell.
there will never be free palestine while there is israel either go learn history the occopation did not start because of hamas neither did it continue becuase of them hamas formed in the 80s
to resist the occopation that started and has been going since 1948
@@aravil2858 Once again, literally no one that is pro-Hamas remembers that Egypt occupied Gaza from 1948-1967, and Jordan occupied the West Bank over the same period. And certainly none of them complain about those occupations.
Biggest question: whos going in first?
Pro pain goes in first.
The robot.
As someone has said below, the robots.
Is there a tunnel to begin with?
Dogs go in first.
Why is this expert's name and rank not mentioned in the text above?
Why dont they pump sea water into tunnels?
The hostages are being held somewhere in them.
Can't with the hostages. But yeah, water and petrol are what the marines used to finally get the Japanese out of the tunnels on Iwo Jima in WWII. It was gruesome AF by all accounts. But I have seen vids of Israeli bulldozers on the shore of the Med with large black pipes coming out of the sea on shore. They could flood the tunnels which would be slow enough but just not float petrol on top.
It will be interesting to see if Israel doe that. I don't think those generators are going to be running under water.
Pro pain…
It’s heavy.
It sinks.
It’s odorless.
1 million gallons costs around $4 million and will fill around 6,000 miles with the proper mixture.
Assuming that the tunnels are 3 feet wide and 6 feet tall.
Directional drilling can locate tunnels
Allez Israel.

Freedom for Palestine
From Hamas.
There's another one of these podcasts from today, I think, of a survey in which a majority of Gazans didn't want Hamas.
And that's only those that had found the courage to chose against Hamas.
You can bet that there are even more who are not prepared to say so as they fear getting knocked off by the terrorist group.
They will never be free with a maniacle terror group governing over them. They have 0 chance like that, obviously.
