"Pig Butchering Scam", named after the method where farmers fatten pigs before slaughtering, is a fraudulent scheme disguised as emotional companionship, resulting in victims, commonly referred to as "pigs", letting down their guard and willingly fall for the scam. In this episode, a victim who was swindled out of a large sum of money by "Pig Butchering Scam" scheme shares her experience.

There’s no free lunch in the world. The more easy it is to get rich, it’s more likely to be a scam. If it’s easy to get rich, everyone will be a billionaire. If everyone is a millionaire, why do people do dirty and dangerous jobs for their hobbies for 80 hours a week that result in getting diseases and early demise? Thesis to monetise?
