If you have a crack how does this putty perform with an oil based stain like a danish oil, teak oil, or Howards restore a finish? I'm trying to make a crack on a side table look invisible.
I never knew you could use this water putty to make moulds. That is amazing!! Do you think you need to use corn starch so it won't stick? I love how it turned out and thank you for teaching me something new today
Hi Cheryl. Thank you for the lovely comment. I did wonder how the wood putty would come out of the mould but it released with no problem at all. It wouldn't hurt to coat with a layer of corn starch! Julie xo
I have had that stencil for years to be honest, I think it was from ReDesign with Prima. Not sure they have it anymore but they do have very large stencils...sorry! Julie
Informative video. I appreciate it. Thank you!
I’ve used drywall compound for raised stencils. I’m excited to try the putty!
I used drywall for years but found it can chip, this is rock hard and so easy to use too. Have fun Julie xo

What a versatile product - and the best part? It's not going to dry out!!! Lovely makeover!
Thank you! xo
A link for the stencil or the name of it and where we could purchase one?

Durhams water putty i was wondering can it get wet once dry or its Liquified again .
I would mention that it should be about the consistency of peanut butter. I used it recently and it worked well. The raised stencil looks beautiful.
