Thanks for the vid. As far as udget mics I use akg dual wireless and have been using them for the last 15 years and they work. Tested as far away as half a football field and inside of a Building to outside.. and they have no drop outs and sound great...

I have the pioneer cue 1, they are brilliant I must say, decent budget headphones
I tried a similar experiment here in Australia (without the actual purchase). Our Amazon store is lacking most of these things, so I searched through DJ City. Same brand/model where possible, equivalent where we don't have the brand. Total came to $2618 (our prices always include tax).
The real killer was the pair of Mackie Thump 12A. Don't have that bundle, and the pair come to $1069. The DJ Facade is $299, and the Pioneer DDJ-SB3 is $429. DJ City don't sell those plastic tables, but they can be easily obtained from Bunnings or Officeworks.

Headphones: There's only one recommendation: Sennheiser HD25. Lasts a lifetime. And nowhere near 200 dollar. Wtf. :D

Nice video. The wired mic will work fine, and never drop out! I didn't see you buy a mic cable though. Gonna use an XLR that comes with the speakers? I recommend at least 25 ft, maybe 50 ft.

I would have picked up adapters for the xlr cables that came with the speakers, the adapters are xlr to 1/4” so you could have save a couple more bucks there. But overall that is more then enough for a starter package to dj with.
Headphone wise check out the Audio Technica M40Xs, or the Audio Technica M50Xs

Only thing I would have changed would have been to go with Behringer B212ds for speakers. Weve owned something like 14 of them and all of them have been absolute work horses and they're much louder than the thumps. They wouldn't need upgrading in the near future like the thumps will either. Can't believe you bought all this stuff bro! lol
I would think an external hard drive would be best practice. With that you can have 2 or three all synced so you have your main drive and a backup or two.

You can’t buy a wireless mic for $50-$100 so assume we’re talking about a wired mic here. In that case, you can, it’s the workhorse of mics all day long for under $100.

Tascam TH-07 headphones are great! Better than Sennheiser 280 Pro's. I've had a few $140+ DJ headphones and the $75 Tascam's are super satisfactory.
That surge protector doesn't really protect equipment. Furman power conditioners or, their SB6 6 outlet with a 15' cord is more protective.
Anyone use GTD Audio Mics? And when getting 2 of 1/4 to XLR for speakers, get a 3rd for your mic.

Hey guys... I would also include the importance of having gaff tape for all your cables ($20 per roll, but worth the expense)
You selected cables and extensions but didint check the amp capacities.
Why four power cords ? Two are for the speakers and the other two ?
I'd never use 2-to-3 prong adapters. In fact, I test the outlets before I plug in with a cheap receptacle tester. No ground/No DJ.

Like your videos. But can't agree with speakers. The Thump series is very disappointing. Peaks quickly and distorts within an hour of dance levels.
Why don’t you make a video about your recommendations of pro level speakers, subwoofers, wireless microphone, professional dj controller and lights that is worth of investment? Especially someone who wants to level up the game. Up to like $10,000-$15,000.
