You don’t think stars like karishma Kapoor etc got there because of her name? Would she have been given the same chance in the 90s without her last name being Kapoor? How many stars you plan on boycotting? Can’t just do the current star kids if you want us to take you seriously

Which is highly illegal, after jail he wen to rehab and got fixed. The man already had so much struggle, yes it’s correct we need justice for SSR but we also have to keep in mind to not hurt actors like Sunjay sir or others who parents part of this nepotism mafias. it’s not only the star kids tour effecting but everyone else in the movie. Let’s be mature and think about this. We want justice for sushant. We aren’t agains stars making thier kids starts but what we are against is that Because of stars and their star kids, real talent and outsides should not be suppressed and should get a equal chance just like a star kid. Those guns were shown to be given by people in the cinema to him since his dad was in danger, and he was young he made a bad decision and bought those guns to protect his dad. Later the police found out he has those guns and that’s why he was arrested. In the interrogation he was beaten and he spilled the beans that he did buy those guns but it was to protect his father from the danger. His allibi checked out and he went to jail for the 3 guns and the drugs he took. You didn't actively bring down another person for sake of your friend. That's what happens in bollywood. To promote the child stars, who are often not talented, they bring down and deny and sabotage opportunities consistently to talented individuals. That's the reason why nepotism in bollywood is problematic. If these so called child stars where talented enough and their success didn't depend on denial of opportunities to other talented individuals, it would have been better.

list of demands: as ssr put it: nepotism can co- exist with actual talent. It does everywhere. Actual issue is when you dont let the fresh talent come up because you are insecure that your relative wont make it unless they are squished. problem is buying media and defaming fresh talent. problem is boycott and ganging. problem is lack of talent and yet more recognisation than actual one. So all we want is bad actors suppose to be bad actors and seen that way no matter the publicity. we want talent.. nepotism or not. People who deserve it, must get just that.

all leads to one thing, if you're not helping to let truth come out means you're involved in one or another way. Search what happened to Bihar police when they came to investigate.

Nepotism is everywhere, here we are talking about "Bollywood"when the numbers of opportunities is always given to the untalented star kids which is also understandable, as they called themselves " Privileged kind".
But, the main crux of the problem is when they "MovieMafia" Makes gangs to systemically push down the right talent and stop them to grow in the industry then it's a huge problem and targeting the right talent personally.
Because, all the stars which are big shots got the power and abusing their power to abuse and thrashed the right talent which have no background or whatsoever in the entertainment business. India is very diverse and many young and talented people go to work on their dreams to make it big in the Industry but it's control by few so, this has to stop. The public should really stop idolising such people and see them as just entertainers. It's not only the problem of Bollywood, it's also time for the public to introspect on how they perceived them. They are not public property as well.

Biggest product of nepotism is Alia and ranbir, with kind of publicity they got and PR machinery they have, they were bound to be popular. There are 100s of actors/actresses with more talent than them but they still got popular due to media connection. Tiger Shroff on the other hand is also product of nepotism but he wasn't expected to make it big. He did it due to his own hardwork and talent (action hero). Shahid Kapoor as well, he made it on his own. Biggest promoter of nepotism is Salman Khan and karan johar.

I am sorry I have no compassion for people going to rehab, many Indians love this coz they still have feudalistic mindset, they love filmi families than their actors or crafts. 07:12 Why are you not getting the point, Jaby! It's not about giving opportunities to your loved ones, but snatching the opportunities from the deserved ones to giving it to the reserved ones and that's Nepotism. Alia, Ranbir, etc. these actors are kinda good products of nepotism but when even these actors use their power to snatch someone else's opportunity with their contacts(Just like Alia did for Dear Zindagi & Udta Punjab), they deserve that hate.

It's a reality that we live in a world where we desire to help, our families and friends,(ergo nepotism) however, you cannot use the opportunities you've been granted to suppress others from excelling.
SSR brought this culture that has defined the core values of bollywood to the fore front again, some people need their talent to be nutured, others have it in abundance and are capable of handling hurt, disappointment& pain, if you compare does who have been able to consistently feature in big production (not part of the clique) is because they know how to play the game, not comprising on their values but trying to have a little footing in this world, and they are people like SSR Who the door is intentional closed becos of someone's pride and arrogance, taking for granted the fact that this position can/could have been reversed.
You are right that if we try to kick nepotism out of bollywood...it will to a certain degree cease to exist..... jobs will be lost( most of the finance is monopolised by them this big stars and their production company) but if they decide to take their hands off, they will still be left with a good footing to survive on.
I believe what everyone wants is for such an incident never to occur again; where some people think they are above the law of life and choose to kill the creativeness and the desires of another fellow human because they don't bow to them.
You choose to nuture Archara's gift and you've also given others opportunities on your channel, that makes you different, Bollywood (hierarchy) selects, not based on peoples effort and talent, but how far you can bend over for them......
E.g Arijit Singh vs SK, if not that he preserved and had full assurance of faith in his talent and was bold enough to expose SK he won't be where he is today.
This argument will continue for all of eternity, however, we all live in this world, and I believe the more we strive to live in better world, can negate the bad that occurs both in the limelight and behind the sin.
This little punishment is the world telling all the Alia Bhatt, SK, Mahesh B etc....that you cannot bring some down another person through your careless words & actions and get away scot free.
Ps: the trailer was 👎 that why I gave it a thumps down.

Jaby, You must UNDERSTAND, the REAL PROBLEM is NOT NEPOTISM, but GANG-ISM. There are groups/ FIEFDOMS in hindi film industry that don't allow MERIT BASED TALENT to RISE. If MERIT in SKILL was given PRIORITY, our STORIES, SCRIPTS and in general the PHILOSOPHIES behind the MOVIES would have been WAY MORE NUANCED and SENSITIVE and would have had the potential to RAISE the CONSCIOUSNESS of the nation as a whole, Right now it's one step forward, 2 steps backward...because THE GANGS (groups) want to give chance to their own KIN or SYCOPHANTS and CREATING ROADBLOCKS for those who are trying to make entertaining, ENLIGHTENING and path-breaking cinema. Example - Anurag Kashyap's MUKKABAAZ was not released in many theatres because of the monopoly of big production houses who keep cinemas/ multiplexes booked throughout the year for their big-budget glitzy POT-BOILERS, blocking much needed exhibition and screening of well intentioned, experimenting INDIE CINEMA.

Key points of why people not gonna watch this:-
1- somewhere director involved in the murder mystery of SSR.
2- They showing saints as evil in the movies (in every movie)
    3- nepotism for sure.

Also we don't mind good talent no matter where it comes from. Shraddha Kapoor has talent in this generation of star kids...even technically Govinda is a star kid but they have real talent...and most importantly, they don't put thorns in other news actor's paths towards success. These people like Johar, Bhatts and even T-series on the other hand think that they are the gods of the industry and dictate everyone's career. That's what we need to stop.

Yes, I agree with you! If you don't have connections, no matter how good you are you're sidelined and pushed all the way to the back. It is all about the biases which the people in position of power have. And because of the commercialisation and publicity they receive people are naturally more drawn towards them.
I must say that SSR acted for the craft of it and his personal desire to express himself and not for the fame. And he may have been sidelined with the supposed big guns in the "industry".
Commercial Bollywood movies have always been pretty bad but they are well packaged and so people flock towards them.

    What the people want.
    THE BACKGROUND:
The thing to understand here is that, the kind of reaction that was awarded to this trailer was an instinctive reaction, I mean here's the thing to understand: Here is an amazing talented human being who belongs to your industry who just died under mysterious circumstances. What do you as a fellow human being belonging to the industry do about it? Do you demand for justice? Or do you shut your mouth about it, turn a blind eye, and put out your movie and try and make money off it, nothing wrong with wanting money, it's your job, its only natural to want money, but at least can you show some coherence with the masses who are demanding for justice, why be so insensitive about it?
When Sunjay Dutt was arrested the entire Bollywood came together, why not for SSR?
Now here is a guy who just died and possibly murdered by some powerful men, and the investigation is obviously dubious: key witnesses are missing, leaked photos contain dark bruises above his eyes, the mark on his neck doesn't match with that of suicide, he had swollen knee.. I mean even the bed above which he was told to have hanged himself would have been an inch away from his feet! There are contradictory statements by people about who brought his body down and SHOCKINGLY even a man has been recorded running out of SSR's apartment with a black bag when the police arrived at the scene! How can the police allow that?
    WHAT THE PEOPLE FELT:
Now a question to the Bollywood folks whom we have seen raising key national and international issues are you ignoring this? And what excuse you make about it? the investigation are ongoing? Are you blind? You never needed to check fact when you came out on other issue, it was fine then?
The heights of insensitivity comes when they don't even ask for a CBI investigation into it, I mean that's the simplest thing you could do for him without picking a side.
BUT you don't! Then you come out with a trailer for your movie, when the key suspect is connected directly to you and you were in contact with her during the one week prior to SSR's death(Mahesh Bhatt and Rhea).
    WHAT WE DID:
We as the audience lost it. I mean it was instinctive, it was this pent-up frustration, we know nepotism is a complicated issue you can't just throw out anyone with an obvious Bollywood background and we know that is not the solution.
The silence of the otherwise overtly vehement Bollywood is what disturbs us.
    WHAT WE WANT:
Justice for SSR and Disha Salian, there's ample proof of foul play in this case, people can't just deny it, at least they could have demanded an independent investigation into it by the CBI.
This was just our reaction, we were helpless, they were silent, it just happened.
And it's my gut feeling but if the truth behind this case is revealed, trust me, these people won't be able to stop the dark secrets of Bollywood from coming out.
In SSR we could see a small town guy just like us, who came up from nothing, struggled for years on TV before his big break.
And then there's someone like Alia Bhatt, sure you can praise her and others like her but the thing is they were given more than support by their rich and influential, they were handed a direct ticket to stardom, never tried, never tested.
And to those who might want to argue how good an actor these star kids are, please understand that acting is a skill and like any other skill it can be refined, just go and have a look at their first break and see just how bad the majority of them were and compare that to the first performances of the likes of SSR and Rajkumar Rao. Imagine what level they could have attained with the right support and backing.
    #JusticeForSSR #JusticeForDisha #JusticeForAllVictimsOfBollywoodMafia.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT 1: I know a lot of people would say that by giving this trailer this sort of publicity we are only filling their pockets and the movie would have already been sold to the distributor for crores. To those people I would say you are a 100% correct, they got their share of money they would not incur losses but the key thing isn't that, its about sending out a message and that is what we have done.
They (the makers and the distributors) will understand they just can't ignore the voice of the masses, we aren't just numbers on your bank balance, we are emotional beings, we loved SSR, we lost someone we loved, you tried to tiptoe around the issue. We won't forgive you for that.
This movie might even end up being a commercial success, but the next time someone tries to pull up a similar stunt or try to disregard our voice, they will be forced to think about it a thousand times. They will be forced to consider our opinion. They will be forced to consider our emotions and our demands. We have taken a stand and we will stick to it till the very end.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT 2: To Jaby, I have been following your channel for a quite a few years now, and I seriously like your content because of how genuine it is, and I am sure all your fans from India feel the same way. We loved SSR, we Indians just love genuine people you could say that's our weakness, but that's the truth. Seeing the photos of his lifeless body brought us to tears. He was more than just a celebrity for us, he was an inspiration for us. We have seen him grow from an actor in a TV soap actor to one of the biggest star in Bollywood. When we see this kind injustice being done to him, it makes our blood boil because he didn't deserve it.
I know you are one of those rare CZcamsrs who genuinely research on a topic before commenting about it and if you ever make a mistake you openly admit it, and I understand that your intention for this video wasn't to comment on SSR's issue rather it was about the trailer and you genuinely wanted to understand how we feel about it. I understand that it might be difficult for you to follow this issue as closely as we in India currently are following.
But I will say that it might be misunderstood given how sensitive this issue is for all of us and I would request you to do a follow up video on this issue to clear out any misunderstanding this might have created because this issue is bigger than just nepotism for us.
Given the currently pandemic, we are helpless we can't protest on the streets, we can't demonstrate our resolve, we are up against some powerful people and a corrupt system that has taken many lives, the truth is our there in the open, we are limited to social media platforms and we could really make use of any support that we can get.
