  • Come take a drive with me and check out Marion Oaks.
This is a video of the Northern section of South Marion Oaks and a big portion of North Marion Oaks along with an explanation along the way as to what you are looking at.
If I tried to do more of Marion Oaks, it is such a large area that the video would be several hours long. So I stuck to the main roads and differences.
If you have any questions at all about Marion Oaks, we have an area expert Elady Fonseca as she knows it like the back of her hand. She is also one of my very best friends! Her cell is: 352-454-4099

In this market, you may have questions about the (market) value of your home. What is it realistically worth? How will my home be marketed? What will my selling costs be?…I would be happy to meet with you and discuss these and similar questions.

Thank you for the tour, we just moved into Ocala a year ago and I have yet to make it that way. I am nervous for the future of Ocala in that the infrastructure has not kept pace with the amount of people moving to Ocala. I know traffic being from NYC and I see the beginnings of massive tie ups without turning lanes. Please keep up the good work, btw I like your laugh.

So many people have been talking about the traffic lately, I think it is a valid concern. Especially since we are not really used to having to deal with traffic slow downs at all.
I do think that the 'penny tax' has been incredibly helpful in not only maintaining the roads we have but also the millions of dollars that we needed to create new roads. There has been a lot done in the SE to create beautiful roads (92nd for example) that don't even have much of any traffic on them yet and in the SW for 49th Ave. Rd. I really wish they had completed 49th Ave Rd long before now, but it is a major change to our traffic patterns so I guess I will cut them some slack, lol.
The 49th Ave. Rd expansion should take a lot of the congestion away from Hwy 484 and 60th Ave/Airport Rd. It will have a flyover for i-75 to help people in Marion Oaks get to Summerfield easily by way of Hwy 42, which is awesome! It will go all the way from Hwy 42 all the way up to Hwy 326!!! I am super excited to have that 4 lane road coming in and if you have been on some of it already with the bike lanes and sidewalks...it's beautiful! In other words, yes, the traffic is a pain at the moment, but they are working night and day to get us the roads we need and I think it will get better not worse. ;)

Was wondering if I was the only person concerned about such rapid growth without , ROADS, SCHOOLS, Publix etc. Spoke to some residents who were already worried about increased taxes that comes with growth in schools and public services.

Not necessarily anymore. There has been a lot of development in Marion Oaks since I posted this video. It is the happening place as far as new construction homes. I will work on an updated video for you. I want to stay accurate if possible. If you are considering a move here, please reach out.

It's interesting watching this 7 months later after a lot of the forests in this video have been destroyed for houses. There's a construction site on almost every street nowadays

I moved to Marion oaks in 1997 I lived there for 23 years and I would never return. My first year there was a shooting on my street the next year there was stabbing on my street there is a lot of gang related activities in Marion Oaks I wound up moving last year and I so glad I did. Oh and the traffic around work time is backed up to I-75 and beyond good luck if you like havoc & chaos. Oh and Marion oaks is deed restricted.

There is a pool. Drive past Walgreens is on your right hand side. If I'm correct is the next right. You will pass a little pool house pool tennis court and then you've drive-in and then there is a whole little community

Marion Oaks is massive. Thousands of houses. They are separated in "units" and each unit can have their own rules. So...maybe. I can track down the Deed restriction documents for each unit and go from there.
