I love kombucha! I’m glad low rise jeans are back! I never stopped wearing mine. I have a short torso and high rise go past my ribs.

I love maxi anything, I've been pulling out of storage my old clothes from 15 to almost 20 years ago that finally fit again and there's quite a few maxi skirts that are coming back into rotation lol , this is why even though I purge my closet frequently I always keep things I really enjoy even if at the moment they may not get worn I never lose hope 😁

Yes! I agree with packing away clothes and then pulling them out again. I have stuff I still wear 10,15, and yes even almost 20yrs later. And the quality is better than what you get now in the stores.
@@thatgirlirish5492 most definitely and it's sustainable, I'm in the habit of constantly going through my closet and bags of stored clothing and trying things on to see what fits and recently came to the realization that I definitely do not need to buy anymore clothes for a veeery long time lol

I LOVE fashion trends! More concisely, I love some fashion trends on OTHER people! It’s fun! I can’t wear some of them, but I can appreciate seeing them on others.

I also love that low waisted jeans are returning because I am one of those people with a shorter torso and long legs situation goin on. It has been next to impossible to find a pair of jeans that don't feel as if they are sitting on my rib cage.
My husband and I drink kombucha. I even got him a brew-your-own kombucha kit for Christmas!
A few things: 1) I am SO excited to see black for SS23. I LOVE black, all year round. 2)I'm really excited about the oversized denim jackets & the draped fabric- both of these can be so flattering. & 3) I also love Kombucha & drink it all the time! 😁

Lime green, light spring green, not sure what the right name is for the color -- but it looks GREAT on me. I'll be glad to find an item or 2 in that color. Long ago I had a spring green suit that I wore for work, and people always told me how good it looked on me.

I love the cool-toned pastels many brands are featuring this spring, those are my best colors, especially aqua. Spring is always the best time to find the lighter colors that I love.
I am tall and love high waisted wide leg jeans. I feel like that style is very flattering on my frame.
The "yellow wash" on jeans reminds me of when I lived in a rural community with a lot of oil rigs as a kid. Working in the field left one's clothing stained from oil. They called these jeans greasers. Just looking at jeans you shared makes me think of how greasers smelled.
"The Ethos of Frog" should be a t-shirt slogan with that colour as the background. I would wear that. Such a better name than Lime Green. 🥰

I love all the tiny florals that look very historical/almost colonial inspired. I’ll be sad to see them out of stores! To me, I’ve just noticed myself gearing more and more towards stuff that resembles historical clothing (long tiered skirts and puff sleeves and corset tops- not lingerie ones, the pair of bodies inspired, giant hats). Not sure if this is just a me thing or a result of cottagecore, but I feel like there is definitely a movement towards this in some online spaces

The advantage of darker colors in the summer is they don’t show if you are sweaty.
One of my favourite colours besides black, is green give me every shade of green. It looks good on my chocolate skin as well . 😁

Great! We (my hubby and kid too) are also into fashion this spring. Just got my hubby a lime shirt, kid already had one and may just still fit (they grow so fast) and both have a lot of black like me. And yay for the big flowers! Got 2 long dresses with big flowers on them, one in very bright colors on black and one with beautiful semi-faded pink and purple flowers on black (super on trend then). I love long skirt and dresses, so easy to wear and style! And the magenta is lovely, just like pinks and purple (and go wonderful with black). Looking forward to wearing it again, too cold now.

Everybody on the West Coast drinks kombucha. During the lockdown, it was very trendy to make your own.
I came across your thumbnail and was skeptical. Oh, a fashion video, ugh! But I was curious and watched it. Honestly, I’m glad I did. I appreciate the way you present the different trends, have the before fashion, and how you are honest about what you would or would not wear. For example, the jeans. I too prefer the high raise jeans, didn’t know anyone else did, so it was refreshing to see. I do like that fashion is getting a little looser, but what was in this video was a bit too loose for me, lol. Anyway, thanks for sharing I enjoyed watching.

Thanks for your helpful videos! And, yes, I too love kombucha and drink a new flavor every night! Love tart cherry as of late. I’ve switched out white wine for a new kombucha every night. My esthetician says my skin is better than it has been…ever.
I see a lot of 90s looks here, minimalist maxi looks, as well as early 2000s ruching. It all comes back, lol.

Important about the denim jackets... do NOT toss the fitted ones you own. Store them because they will inevitably come back in a few years. My big fave since last Summer is a pleated trouser with a cropped t-shirt. Add some big buckle Birkies or a chunky sandal to that and you have a look.

I know a lot of people drinking Kombucha. A friend of mine makes her own at home. I personally do not like it at all. 😝 Tastes differ. Seeing that mushroom in the bottle doesn’t help either! 😂
The jeans I wear on dog walks tend to get a yellow tint thanks to constantly wiping my hands and the dog rubbing his body on my legs after he rolled around on the floor! 🤣

Ive made kombucha and done the daily tblespoon 4 health reasons but i prefer milk kefir.
Picking the right floral really is less about trend and more about your body, height, size: florals should be somewhat proportional to you or else the floral is wearing you. And thanks for the “then” and “now” comparisons! Ombré, yes. Tie-dyed, oh god no…LOL (Today was “Dinner with Anna”, btw.)
