S. Rajamouli (RRR, Magadheera), and produced in Tollywood and was filmed in both Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously. It features Prabhas in a dual role alongside Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, and Nassar. The first of two cinematic parts, the film follows Sivudu, an adventurous young man who helps his love Avantika rescue Devasena, the former queen of Mahishmati who is now a prisoner under the tyrannical rule of king Bhallaladeva. The film's story was written by V. Vijayendra Prasad. The soundtrack and background score were composed by M. M. Keeravani, while the cinematography, production design, and VFX were handled by K. K. Senthil Kumar, Sabu Cyril and V. Srinivas Mohan respectively.

Baahubali is actually Tirthankar in Jainism but in this movie the story is based on Lord Krishna from Hinduism. Krishna was sent through river and was raised in a remote village and then he started war against his uncle rescue his parents and them became key character of Mahabharata telling Bhagwat Gita to Arjuna at a Battle fiels
There multiple parallels - Two cousins grown & learn together (Pandavas and Kouravas). Drutharastra (elder son - physically handicapped) has the real claim to the throne, but it's given this younger brother. The King dies before kids grow up and resulting battle for the throne between cousins. Arjuna (with his brothers) and Dhuryadhana both go to swayamvara of Dhraupadi and one is humiliated and the other gets the princess. That humiliation one of the driving factors of decisions. U know in the very 1st scene it was not Siva's (Mahendra Bahubali) mother..... The one died saving the baby.... She was the grandmother (Shivgami, The Queen Mother) of the baby..... While his actual mother(Devasena) was impressioned by the current king 25 years ago after killing his father (Amarendra Bahubali)..... And no Kattapa is not his real Uncle, but an actual slave to the throne... An oath that states that he and his descendants just like his predecessors will serve the throne and cannot break the oath no matter what....

Our first time watching him, but want to see more.
If I remember, the main King have 2 children. There are two brothers, the elder one is handicapped, the younger one is made the king of Mahishmati because he had a kind heart. The King (who is the younger brother) passed, his wife gave birth to Amrendra Bahubali but died after giving birth, the older brother who is handicapped has a wife called Shivgami, she protects the throne from any outsider or non royal blood trying to grab the seat of the king after the death of the king, godmother shivgami has a son called Bhalaldev(who is power hungry), but she says both the babies are now my sons, and both have the right to become the king.

In the second generation, Amrendra Bahubali married a princes called Devsena, the son of Amrendra Bahubali is called Mahendra bahubali who looks exactly like him, there have been many movies in india with that weird concept that both the father and the son are played by the same actor😅. The Son of Bhalaldev (Amrendra's cousin) is called Bhadraa (who's head goes on a toss 🧔🏻♂). Kattappa who works for the king or the godmother is called uncle by Amrendra Bahubali and becomes like a godfather to Mahendra Bahubali.

There is a lot of overthe top action too but that has always been a thing in south indian films.
But in this bahubali universe, the royal blood has god like powers. theater experience is important for this film, there are lot of goosebumps moments for me in this film, my favorite is the shiv ling scene and the interval scene.
Just so u know the songs in this movie are a fantasy and an imagination of the characters just represent symbolism

Star Wars :The Force Awakens & Bahubali-2 The Conclusion are the only movies in the entire 21st Century to sell over 100 million Tickets each in their Domestic Countries (i.e. USA & India) Respectively ; I don't know how USA Audience receive Starwars-7 , but Bahubali-2 in India is considered as the one of the greatest Indian movies of All Time ever made ( peakest of the Cinema) ; It's been almost 7 years and Bahubali-2 still remains as the highest grossing movie in India

The best Indian single malt at present is Indri. It won multiple awards last year. The price is quite reasonable as well. You should try that. I like it on the rocks. But here in India most people drink with water. Whiskey diluted with water is the common drink. Also the old monk rum is pretty famous. One of the oldest and trusted rum brands in india. From the ultra poor to the ultra rich everyone drinks it. Only drink that breaks class divide in India. From the highest ranking military officers to a street side vendor everyone drinks Old Monk specially during winters

OMG:Oh my God(movie)....watch KGF(one of the biggest movies just like Bahubali but way more violent).... Then Salaar(After watching KGF 1&2) And then comes JAWAN I have watched like 10 times(it released last september).... PATHAAN.... Then watch 3 decades of SRK on youtube(as a SRK fan its a must watch) after watching Jawan or any other SRK movie.... ❤️

Scene 1 : When Shivudu fails to reach the other side of waterfall and falls down, a monkey too jumps with him but the monkey succeeds. The monkey again appears when Shivudu is thinking about the mask. That monkey brings clothes back. This gives Shivudu proof that there are people above there. By seeing the clothes and ornaments that monkey brought, Shivudu draws a beautiful girl that girl then turns out to be Avanthika which means Avanthika must be a royal too but taken by the rebellion after the Queen got captured.
Scene 2 : the actual interval. When a soldier recognises Shivudu as Baahubali in the snow area, he immediately runs and informs Bhallaladeva and his father. The father then rages and tells how they killed senior Baahubali using five elements. While describing each element, the scene of Shivudu entering Mahishmati by crossing fire, water and remaining elements continues. After he jumped into the kingdom, the interval arrives
