Good writing grows with you. You change. You grow. It changes and grows; its meaning molds anew-- internally and externally. The lyrics evolve and mirror your life at several different intersections of time and space.
Kris will always be one of the most underrated song writer in the pop punk genre. He captures every emotion of storytelling. The band is just equally amazing 👏
@@AncientCityMusic you ever listen their song before so long Astoria...? they are punk rock band like rufio or slick shoes. Just like blink 182 do, their music mixed with emo which become mainstream at time, so long Astoria back then still classified as punk rock album.
As I leave here today Apartment 108 I'll always keep you in my heart. Anderson is cold tonight, the leaves are scattered on the ground. I miss the seasons in the comfort of your smile. Sometimes this song feels like a dream, I'm waiting for someone just to wake me up from this life. As I look out on these fairgrounds, I remember how our family split apart. I don't think I ever told you, but I know you always did your best in the hard times that only made us stronger. As I sit here all alone, I wonder how I'm supposed to carry on when you're gone. I'll never be the same without you, I love you more than you will ever know. So maybe now you finally know sometimes we're helpless and alone, but you can't let it keep you weighted down. You must go on. Do you ever feel like crying? Do you ever feel like giving up? I raise my hands up towards the sky and say this prayer for you tonight, because nothing is impossible. As I sit here all alone, I wonder how I'm supposed to carry on when you're gone. I'll never be the same without you, I love you more than you will ever know. So maybe now you finally know: sometimes we're helpless and alone, but you can't let it keep you weighted down. You must go on. (The hardest part isn't finding what we need to be, it's being content with who we are.) Stay who you are.
The Ataris were severely underrated back then. Never understood how they weren't as big as Simple Plan and a few others. Maybe didn't have the right management and marketing team? Who knows.
His voiceeeeeee is sooo damn great!!!!
He sounds so good LIVE.

This dude gets it 👊🏼 my man!
One of my favorite songs off this album. Let's just talk about how his vocals are so dead on. One of the best bands to touch that genre
100%

@LAURAVANCE my eternal song to you if I leave this world first. I LOVE YOU AND @MARISSAVANCE
Also probably the only pop punk band that held a key...
This sounds like they did some overdubbing of the vocals in post on and off here.
