I arranged this piece in November 2010 based on the audio cassette album by Pedro Concepcion entitled Philippine Memories. The guitar version recorded by Pedro Concepcion originally has introduction and ending part played by orchestra which is not commonly heard in all other version. If you compare this arrangement to others, you will know that there is something missing specially if you know the lyrics of the song. This arrangement is unique and one-of-a-kind and is not intended as an accompaniment for your song. There is nothing I can do about it but to admire and appreciate its uniqueness. I'm just interpreting what I heard from the version of Pedro Concepcion. If there are some errors in my interpretation, this is due to my lack of knowledge and skill. I'm a Fine Arts graduate and I have no formal education in Music. I'm just a self-taught amateur guitarist playing in "oido" style.
I made two arrangements for this piece, one with introduction and ending in lower octave voice and the other one is played in this video. It took me some years to decide which one to play, I reviewed the tabs just a few days ago and recorded it today without enough practice......hard to put some feelings on my playing while reading the tabs.
I will also include the other version in the book to be released hopefully by next year.
I forgot to mentioned that I already arranged this piece in 1994 but without the introduction and orchestral parts, instead I borrowed the missing parts from other source. Thanks to Mr. Mar Mendoza for giving me the converted mp3 of this title that I used in this new 2010 version.

Composed by Constancio C. de Guzman, it debuted in the movie starring Rogelio de la Rosa and Carmen Rosales. It quickly became the theme of all romantic attachments that developed on the eve of the Second World War and while it’s popularity stayed with the generation that came of age around that time, it extended to subsequent ones that were exposed to it, through the war years, Liberation and to the sixties when Pedro Concepcion recorded his solo guitar version.
Constancio C. de Guzman was of course one of the three pillars of the golden age of Filipino popular music that spanned the scores bracketing the WWII. Along with Santiago Suarez and Mike Velarde Jr., he provided us with unforgettable and easily hummable melodies that still resonate in our musical sensibility more than half a century after their creation. Ang Tangi Kong Pag-ibig, Babalik Ka Rin, Ang Langit Ko’y Ikaw, not to neglect Bayan Ko which no less that Jose Corazon de Jesus infused with words that stoke patriotic fervour in every Filipino who hears and sings it.

I'm a bit confused on where this masterpiece came out. Some says Dulce is the original which I think was 80s? But then I've discovered a 1968 Pedro Concepcion instrumental version. Do you have an information on when or what year was this actually composed by Constancio De Guzman?

I don't have information about the composer, maybe you can verify somewhere by google search. I also don't have an album....just a book of guitar tablatures I made from 1994-2010

hiwalay kasi ang recorder ng audio at video nyan....laptop camera saka zoom h1 recorder....hindi sila magkakonekta....mahirap silang pagsamahin sa video kasi may time na mabagal yung video ng laptop......kaya mas marami pa akong itinapon na nirecord ko kesa sa naipost sa youtube.
