This channel is about my other hobby as a guitarist. Most of the music I played here are the old traditional music of the Philippines such as Kundiman and Harana which I arranged based on the recordings of Pedro Concepcion and Juan Silos Jr - the two masters of the Philippine guitar music in the old days. Their recordings were popular in the 1950s and 1960s but I just discovered their guitar music in the 1980s. In 1993, I started to collect their recordings in cassette tapes that served as my reference to arrange my own guitar fingerings in tablature format. I performed these arrangement publicly in 1994 in different schools in Cavite and in 1995 in many cities in Germany, Belgium, and Austria.
About me, I am just a self-taught amateur guitarist from Cavite, Philippines, a Fine Arts - Advertising graduate currently working as artist / designer in Saudi Arabia. I rarely play the guitar now due to the injury of my left hand.

I was just having some fun recording this in 2006 while testing the clip microphone connected to the desktop computer a day after I arrived to the Philippines from Saudi Arabia. I usually tuned down the strings of my guitars when they are going to be stacked for many months..... and I forgot to tune this one before recording the piece without practice.

laminated ito (plywood)...di ako mahilig sa solid kasi maselan at nagka-crack. Itong plywood matibay kahit mauntog. Mahigit 30 ang gitara ko at meron din akong mga solid top, mas magaganda pa tumunog yung mga plywood.

@@lingo8799 I can only read music sheets but I don't know how to write it. My version lacks a lot of important notes and I just played it from memory.
