The three guys are on vacation and heading south. The king is a game. In the film, everyone is king at some point and gets to decide what is done. They are always too fast, always crazy, do whatever they want and are constantly being chased by the two police officers. They have great North German slang.

The whole movie is kind of a roadtrip. Werner (the guy with the crown) and his brother Andy (the driver) wanted a holiday (without permission of Röhrich, Werners craftsmen master, of course), made Eckat drunk so he won't tell the Master and comes with them to their roadtrip to Corsica. They decide with a dice game, who is King and the "King" decides, what they shall do. At first, they sit in a normal car which simply shuts off after a while. But instead of trying to repair their car, they see a new car (an american Oldsmobile Regency 98, Construction year 1975) and simply steal it. After they hit a boundary stone, they not only repair the car, but improve it until it looked like you've seen it here. Their holiday at Corsica is short (they simply take a "dive" into the shallow water and then drive home again).
Yes, and the two cops were just driving around with a large package of confiscated Marihuana wheat in their luggage trunk that they should deliver to their police station.
Instead when they realize that Werner and Co had stolen a car, they decide to leave their district without informing their superiors and follow them driving through the entire country, from the Nothsee Coast to the Switzer Border, with a package of drugs in their car and are then "of course" when they tried to cross the border with it, stopped as suspected organized drug-smugglers.

Hello from Switzerland, we speak a dialect (sometimes very different from region to region) that even Germans have difficulty or cannot understand at all. If we then try to speak standard German, it sounds to many Germans as if we are still speaking dialect (but at least they understand us for the most part). 🤣🤣🤣

The German police officers are referring to the car model, that Werner's friend is driving.
And the Swizz customs took that phrase literally.

The King thing is some kind of game between the three and they are switching the position of around every once in a while. And the one about the black american refers to the car. If i remember correctly it's an olds mobile (i'm sure i spelled that wrong) which they snatched earlier in the movie and pimped after an accident.

They speak Swiss German in (the German-speaking part of) Switzerland, which is an Alemannic dialect that’s not very easy to understand for many Germans.
He is the king because he has the crown. It is a game they play. Everyone can become king if he wins a game. And the king decides what to do and where to go. In this case Korsika.
The black American CAR did exist. Was an Oldsmobile. Seems they gave it away in 1988 at the Big Werner Race and bought a second one, gave that away in 2018 at the revival Werner Race.😢
