Jacob, I turn 70 this year(ugh) and remember seeing those when I was 13 with my family. Thank you!!!!
Of course ❤ We absolutely care about you Jacob ❤ You know this is the first time i have seen Mount Rushmore live footage. Its always been a picture or on film. Thank you xxx
Great video. That big foot was cool. I would like to go to Mt Rushmore one day.
Lovely Vlog Jacob I alway's think of the classic Cary Grant 1959 Alfred Hitchcock movie. North by northwest when I see Mount Rushmore. It's so nice to see you visit here. !!! Hope you are keeping well... Looking forward to this week's adventure's. XXX
The carhenge is very unique
Really cool, big Bigfoot. The wax museum was really good best likeness I've seen yet .it's incredible how they carved those presidents into the mountain incredible! Thank you Jacob
Mt. Rushmore is on my bucket list - someday I will go there. Keystone seems like a fun little town!
thank you so much jacob, you take me all over the country, places i'll never see! i enjoy every single one!
Great video Jacob love the penny smashing machines. Till the next safe travels my friend and take care.
Whst a great day on the road !
Always wanted to see the black hillls ! Nice museum. ! Must be cold there ! Great day !
The wax museum is really good for a small town.
We just came back from there today. Thank you for taking video of our trip including the museum.
Welcome to.the Midwest Nebraska is a great state. I was born and raised in here and still live here.
The commercials youtube started adding in the middle of the videos is really annoying. Oh well. Great video as always.
Those are actually good for the creators. It’s how they get paid
Back in my day (I'm old) we watched TV with commercials. It's funny now how uncommon commercials have become. I bought my autistic son the youtube premium package so he doesn't have to deal with them. But otherwise, yeah, it's how Jacob makes his money so he can go places.
Creators decide how many ads there are, if they're skippable, how long they are, etc. They generate income for creators, so that's a good thing. There are people who have many ads during their videos, and they aren't skippable, so this isn't bad at all.
@@defygravity74 All the ones I saw could be skipped after 5 seconds. Today's youth!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@defygravity74 Yes, it's something we have to live with.
Your right Jacob!!! Always cupies!!!!!! Your right😮
Carhenge was dedicated June 21st 1987 (year to the day older than me)
I was hoping that would go to Montana however South Dakota was a 2end choice
Mount Rushmore is on my bucket list
The wax figures are amazing.
We really enjoyed this episode! Thank-you for sharing with all of us! The great thing is both Carhenge & Mt. Rushmore are free to attend! We always wanted to go! Keep up the good work!
I always wanted to visit here thanks for posting
We went to South Dakota in winter. It was very affordable and very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed it very much. Nice stop.
Hi Jacob! We are in Sioux Falls SD, my whole family loves your videos and follows closely! If your coming through to the east said we would love to buy you dinner or something. My kids would be absolutely stoked to meet you! They ask every day to watch carpetbagger!!!
Thank you Jacob for taking us on your adventure for the day. Truly enjoyed all the little places you went to always fantasy stuff in different towns going through different states no matter what it’s a fun day.😂❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
The vintage kewpie dolls are worth a lot, I was looking on eBay. I was going to buy one and send it to you and Jenn.
Thank you very awesome video I loved seeing the presidential things especially Mt roushmore
Safe travels. Snow is forecasted for Michigan on Friday. Next time you're in Michigan when you have more time, I suggest the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo/Portage. Not sure on their policy on video recording, though.
The air zoo is awesome
CARPETBAGGER IN SOUTH DAKOTA WOOOOOO
That was a neat little museum ❤
The most american of roadside attractions! HENGE!
Thankyou my travel Buddy for that wonderful adventure !!!❤❤😊👍
Greetings from Poteet Texas
You should see Keystone when Sturgis is in full swing and it’s packed with people
Awesome video as always Jacob keep up the awesome work and be safe out there
That car graveyard and car henge was super cool. Somehow had me thinking of the movie Christine
Thank you so very much. It has been many years since I've been to Mount Rushmore. I am hoping to go back, but it probably won't be possible.
Enjoy this video very much
My brother would collect the medallions. He just passed away in January and I don't know where all of his collection went.
Loved this trip thanks. How many miles on Rosebud now Jacob.xxBev x
First, that presidential wax museum is pretty fantastic.
Next, thank you for showing us Mount Rushmore. I've only seen close-up photos of it. But seeing it in your video made me feel like I was there. And you were there at a great time of year.
I saw on the news that a snow storm is going through the area where you're traveling, so I hope you keep safe.
Hi Jacob you were right the first one was a Badger but the second one was a wolverine which is 50 times more ferocious
i thought they were 49 times more ferocious
@@jdssurf So funny I forgot to laugh.
Not that I'd want to get bit by a badger, either.
@@maryblaufuss7533 ah :(
The birdies have dibs on doing graffiti:)!
Thank you for the cameo last week it was short but sweet :p
I really enjoyed this video, Jacob! If I would get the chance to go to South Dakota, I'd like to see Mount Rushmore. Though, I don't think I would go around to the backside of Mount Rushmore, you'd probably get "mooned". LOL
Lots of great stuff in one video. President wax museum was really good, and Mount Rushmore was amazing, I have only ever seen still photos before, enjoyed seeing it on a “live” video. Your “eum” rule holds up well. And some nice gift shops, too!
Nice tour today!
I always have Kewpie mayo at my house and every single time I buy it, I mentally say “Kewwwwpiiieeeee” in Jacob’s voice, 😄😄😄. Keep coming west until you get here in Boise Jacob! There’s the penitentiary, Freak Alley, JUMP building, and a souvenir store called RePop full of props (and they have a Zoltar!!!) There’s even more stuff, I didn’t mention the museums.
Loved this. Thank you for taking us along.
just to let you know that I always love your content 😊
Excited to see what event you're attending on Saturday in Detroit. I see one event that sticks out but will have to wait until Sunday's video to find out. Safe travels!!
Ah man you were in the black hills!!! My home! Keystone isn't open for the season. May through September
with the painted undercarriages of the cars, makes me think bim just looking at giant hot wheels. 😂
2:03 looks a little bit like the car that Dennis Weaver drove in the Steven Spielberg movie Duel.
Aww cool Car henge love it ❤
I care, Carpet. I care.
Love the Presidential Wax Museum and Mount Rushmore trip Jacob. I can't wait to see where you go to next. Got any plans on returning to the International Clown Hall of Fame? They added a Bozo exhibit now. Have a safe trip wherever you go to next.
That would be so fun
“Randomland” sticker on lower left of South Dakota sign. 19:55
The big finned car, with the unique body line on the front fender on top of 2 others in the middle is a Plymouth Fury. It's a newer model than Christine. She's a '57 Fury, the car there in Car Henge is a later '59 or '60 4-door. Super cool cars, I love Plymouth Furys.
Hi Jacob love the video , love south dakota, on the way through the state , wall drug , 1880 town , pioneer auto museum. if you go to wall drug, get the doughnuts and pies!!!
HEYYYY YOUUUU ALLLLLL
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO 🎉😊
Mount Rushmore was the BEST attraction of today. Too bad you didnt spend more detailed time there, but what you did show was cool 😎!! Love the penny collection machines n havent seen the medallion collection yet, so I will be on the lookout for them when I travel this Summer!! Dont know why you are going to my hometown of Detroit, but sure do hope you spend time in the surrounding areas attractions, cuz YOU are the ULTIMATE narrator n vlogger n my Michigan is sadly neglected in your travels!!!
I'm a Michiganader 😊
Wasssup Carpet bagger. The day just got better
As you were going through the museum, I had to wonder what the original owners if those things would think about their former possessions being in a museum? In all the museums I've been to in my life, I've thought thought about that before, and now I'll never be able to not not think about it.
Carhenge is pretty cool
Good Morning " YA ALL " Jacob..!!
Morning Jacob 🤓 i hope your Jenny that had to leave early yesterday on a flight 🛫 is doing well. I like the museum you gone to today, looks great, the mount Rushmore is always good to see if your in person. I would like to see it one day. Thanks for sharing this. You take care my friend.📸✌️
Yes, Jacob nice find today! Noticed an AMC Gremlin and an old jeepster truck, perched up high.. old usa steel....take that China😂, thanks for sharing😂 vlog on🎉
Dino looks like t Rex 😊
The local museum with the teacher made dioramas was excellent with lots of interesting articles to enjoy, as well as the Sprocket Foundry Robot who was a cool attraction!!! Very Creative!! The World's Largest Bigfoot made by chainsaws was AWESOME n it had the VERY Kind face of the Harry n the Henderson's bigfoot!! Totally enjoyed those attractions!!!!
34:19 I though that was Monica lol
Hi Jacob 👋 I hope Jen got home safe! I always enjoy you and Jen 😊thank you again for another interesting journey
Dark museum! Have a nice day 😊
Wow 🤩 Two museums 🌟🌟 a National park ⛰️ and Carhenge all on the same day 🚘🙌💖 and in two states as well 😺 You are amazing Jacob 🤩✨💗 Excellent video as always 🌟💖 Thanks for showing Us the sights along the way 🙏💝😻 Drive Safely 💜♾️
Keep up the great videos Jacob
At first I thought the thumbnail said revenge and Jacob was seeking vengeance against someone or a certain animal that likes to bite arms.
Don't you mean heading east to Detroit? Hope you get there safely 😸
Was that comment at the end ("oh what a rush") a deep dive tribute to the Legion of Doom?
Yes
Looks like best time to go! I'm not a people person. 😂 great video.
Im wracking my brain trying to think of what you could be doing in the Detroit area on the 24th. There is nothing worthwhile to do anywhere around here at this time of year.
Neat
And right next to Lincoln’s head, is The Carpetbagger’s head! 😂
You need to visit the Henry doorly zoo, ranked one of the best zoos in the country
This was great you must put Mount Washington in NH on your roadside attraction list.. You take your car to the top it is an amazing sight. A must do
Taxidermy 😮
I’m glad you finally saw the world’s largest bigfoot. Anyway hopefully when you’re in Detroit you have a chance to visit Eloise Asylum. It was an actual asylum that is now a haunted attraction
Hi Jacob 👋🏽
Great video as always Jacob... love all your fun adventuresome videos!!
Too bad they wasted their wax on (thing) 45.
💖
36:38 rehab was supposed to be a fresh start
(Ifykyk)
The mountain was a sacred place for Native Americans but they desecrated it anyway. I wonder if we can trade and recarve the Lincoln Memorial to the Sitting Bull Memorial.
Hey Jacob! You should look up the Apterra electric car and maybe rent one for an adventure for a day! It looks like the most futuristic car I’ve ever seen!
Hey there, a carpet bagger🤗. In order to get to South Dakota did you go through Wyoming yet because if you have you went and bypassed Wyoming, and they have quite a few museums in the city of Gillette, in fact, one of my friends owns one of the museums in the middle of downtown, sort of speak and it has a deli so you could eat lunch there if you wanted just an FYI so if you do come through town, please try and stop on by we enjoyed to have you take care and be safe🫶🏻💕❤️💕🤠
The terrifying "Badger" was a Wolverine
That terrifying "badger" is a wolverine. Hope you have a fantastic day Jacob!
God bless the only thing nebraskas good for!
Gotta give a shout out to Dahl's for the giant Bigfoot ❤
Mount Plushmore?
I really enjoyed your Vegas Hotel adventures, I hope you do that again soon and it would be even cooler if you brought Jenn along. Keep up the greatness!
I saw an AMC Gremlin perched on top. My father had one. A two-door compact car for transport of a family of five. With black vinyl seats. Buh-hu-rilliant choice, Dad...🙄
Thanks Jacob for showing places I probably wouldn't waste my time going to see. I guess that's why I keep watching.
Wasting your time? 😢
I'm not a shut-in, but this is me: "Please, please, 20-year-old car, please take me to work again today....please!" So, traveling is out of the question for a while. (#$^*! inflation!) So, thank you, Jacob, from yet another fan who can only have travel-related fun through you and Jenn.)
@@maryblaufuss7533 I enjoy seeing the videos and learning about new places through Jacob's eyes. Sp fun
You can tell them that Angie sent you😊
Or tell them Large Marge sent you! 😂😂😂
You’d make a better president than _____. 😂. Insert name here.
@@suemoo22 Well, maybe not Washington or Lincoln. But, other than that...yes.
Mr. President Carpetbagger, the teleprompter actually reads "Everything sucks, and you're all screwed." 😝Also, 34:25 I think Clinton must have had that desk too. 😮
