i’d bump up momentary bliss and friday 13th a bit from where they are. pac man would probably make it to top 10. pink phantom would land 10-20, strange timez would be in the high teens, valley of the pagans would be high 20’s, low 30’s, the lost chord would be low 20’s, chalk tablet towers would probably be around 50-40, dead butterflies would be 40-30, and i think that’s it! :)
My favorite is Starshine, i get why you dont like it though. My top three favorites fell at 64, 90, and 61 respectively. I'm a huge fan of the debut, what can I say? Lol Slow Country never got old for me. I could still listen to it on repeat for hours. It's such a chill song that still makes me sway back and forth. For Punk, I was a huge Green Day fan before becoming a Gorillaz fan, so I love that genre of music to begin with. Double Bass is weirdly my favorite Gorillaz song. It's so hypnotizing and makes a great background song for just about anything. Yeah, it's repetitive and it goes on for a while, but the story behind the song makes it super interesting. If I read the backstory for Double Bass before hearing it for the first time, the song would sound more or less how I'd expect it. Good list though. I wasn't expecting Latin Simone to be that high up, but I do have somewhat of a love-hate relationship with that song. Lol

This is one of the best tops I have seen, it is very balanced, but there is too much personal opinion and that is not bad, but the title of the video should be my favorite Gorillaz songs. Because when something is qualified, it is done objectively, and that absence causes atrocities to be seen. You have put songs in undeserved positions, and those songs are top 1 of thousands of fans and non-fans. But I repeat that the criteria in general are very good, despite having a very close thought to closed-minded fans
Rock the House and Tranz were bug surprises, Tranz is fine, and was own of the bigger songs of the Now Now, so it's so weird that you placed it so low, and for Rock the House... I get why you don't like it too much, but I really like it, and I want to kill you over Andromeda and Humility. But other than that, this list is really accurate to my thoughts on all the Gorrilaz songs I've heard as a whole. I haven't listened to all of the Gorillaz songs, but I'm still a really big fan, and I listen to them a ton, so I hope this video gets more support.
it might just be my overall lack of experience with that album :/ the issue (and the good thing) with the now now is that it’s very consistent so every song is of a similar quality
i don't know why i think valley of the pagans is number 1 and then kids with guns. i'm weird and *so* quirky. ohyeah and clint eastwood's rap verse is really good. i still like the phi life cypher one on the g-sides album which is also the original but i digress. i also feel that feel good inc. is good but not as good as everyone thinks. the vocals are perfect the rap verse is REALLY good. and that bass is hypnotic, BUT that guitar just feels so out of place and i don't know why. ever since i started playing rock band and heard this song and played the guitar i noticed how weird it sounds. idk.
for all of these specific videos i go through and i listen to the entire artist’s discography and rank the songs on each individual album from worst to best, and then i try to put it all into one large list and then relisten to all of the songs again and change it from there. the thing to keep in mind too, though, is that im a huge fan of the artists i cover, so for example in this case, i already knew all of gorillaz’ music going into the ranking process which helped me compare each song to each other. that being said, it’s a far from perfect system since a year and a half later im pretty mad at myself for some of these rankings lmao

i’d bump up momentary bliss and friday 13th a bit from where they are. pac man would probably make it to top 10. pink phantom would land 10-20, strange timez would be in the high teens, valley of the pagans would be high 20’s, low 30’s, the lost chord would be low 20’s, chalk tablet towers would probably be around 50-40, dead butterflies would be 40-30, and i think that’s it! :)
My favorite is Starshine, i get why you dont like it though. I actually really like your list, but heres a couple changes i would make:
Starshine, Amarillo, Parish of Space Dust, Dracula, Revolving Doors, The Apprentice, Bobby in Phoenix, We Got the Power, Hillbilly Man, White Flag, Andromeda, Magic City (and a few others) should be higher in my opinion.

My top three favorites fell at 64, 90, and 61 respectively. I'm a huge fan of the debut, what can I say? Lol
Slow Country never got old for me. I could still listen to it on repeat for hours. It's such a chill song that still makes me sway back and forth.
For Punk, I was a huge Green Day fan before becoming a Gorillaz fan, so I love that genre of music to begin with.
Double Bass is weirdly my favorite Gorillaz song. It's so hypnotizing and makes a great background song for just about anything. Yeah, it's repetitive and it goes on for a while, but the story behind the song makes it super interesting. If I read the backstory for Double Bass before hearing it for the first time, the song would sound more or less how I'd expect it.
Good list though. I wasn't expecting Latin Simone to be that high up, but I do have somewhat of a love-hate relationship with that song. Lol

This is one of the best tops I have seen, it is very balanced, but there is too much personal opinion and that is not bad, but the title of the video should be my favorite Gorillaz songs. Because when something is qualified, it is done objectively, and that absence causes atrocities to be seen. You have put songs in undeserved positions, and those songs are top 1 of thousands of fans and non-fans. But I repeat that the criteria in general are very good, despite having a very close thought to closed-minded fans

I get why you don't like it too much, but I really like it, and I want to kill you over Andromeda and Humility. But other than that, this list is really accurate to my thoughts on all the Gorrilaz songs I've heard as a whole. I haven't listened to all of the Gorillaz songs, but I'm still a really big fan, and I listen to them a ton, so I hope this video gets more support.

i don't know why i think valley of the pagans is number 1 and then kids with guns. i'm weird and *so* quirky. ohyeah and clint eastwood's rap verse is really good. i still like the phi life cypher one on the g-sides album which is also the original but i digress. i also feel that feel good inc. is good but not as good as everyone thinks. the vocals are perfect the rap verse is REALLY good. and that bass is hypnotic, BUT that guitar just feels so out of place and i don't know why. ever since i started playing rock band and heard this song and played the guitar i noticed how weird it sounds. idk.

Rewatching this with headphones feels a lot better. I have a question, how are you able to effectively rank the songs?
for all of these specific videos i go through and i listen to the entire artist’s discography and rank the songs on each individual album from worst to best, and then i try to put it all into one large list and then relisten to all of the songs again and change it from there. the thing to keep in mind too, though, is that im a huge fan of the artists i cover, so for example in this case, i already knew all of gorillaz’ music going into the ranking process which helped me compare each song to each other. that being said, it’s a far from perfect system since a year and a half later im pretty mad at myself for some of these rankings lmao

I do not get why so much of the fandom likes on melancholy hill. It's boring, too safe for gorillaz's style, and it's not that well produced. Also Feel Good shouldn't have been in the top 5 in my opinion.
