Hellloooo! My name is Clancy and I'm a 24-year-old TV news reporter. I'm originally from Long Island, NY but I moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where I work for the CBS affiliate, Local 12. Livin' the dream. :)

Married 9 years now, my husband still puts his coat on the kitchen chair and not the coat rack. 😆
My husband is an airline pilot and gone regularly and it may get easier for some pilot wives, but not me. Every time he leaves for trips feels like the first time, but you really learn to appreciate the time you do have together.

I’m currently in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend. Luckily he only lives 5 hours away on the other side of PA. We get to see each other between 1-2 times a month. If we’re lucky, 3 at most! But there’s times where we have gone a whole month or so without any visits. It gets harder the longer you are with that person, but we definitely make the best out of it! We’re constantly texting and FaceTiming each other. Thank god for cell phones ! Surprisingly, this long distance relationship has been the best relationship I’ve ever been in. It’s totally worth it when you’re in love ❤️

It is totally worth it!! Me and my boyfriend spend almost 3 years long distance (me in France, him in the UK) and even if it was hard, I have now moved to the UK and we have now lived together for almost 5 years. If it's meant to be, it is 100% worth it:)

thank you for sharing your realistic lifestyle. i grew up watching all these youtubers and seeing their perfect lives and wanting to live like that. but you show that its okay to like a 9-5 and live like a normal person. you are so real and i love your channel.
Honestly girl I have been watching your videos for years and you are my favorite youtuber. I just like how real you are and you talk about career and school it is just so relatable. Also when you talk about shift work I can relate because I use to be an overnight restaurant manager. It is hard to be on a different schedule but you learn how to make it work.
My husband is in the military and we’ve gone an entire year without seeing each other but I will say even after just a few days it feels weird and I miss him being around! So definitely not bad at all that you’re missing Zac, it’s sweet. ☺️

We both are graduated now, but my boyfriend and I started dating sophomore year of college. I transferred campuses during my junior year, but we lived close at home. So over the summer, we were close, but when we went back to school we were long distance. And that was for two years. It was hard work, but it definitely helped us grow over the past three years of us dating. We are stronger than ever now and we know now that any challenge won't be as hard as long-distance.

I have been in a long distance relationship for 6 years! We don't see each other during the hockey season (Sept-April, sometimes May) but then we live together every summer. We go 4-5 months without seeing each other all the time since it is very expensive to visit each other (I am in Vancouver Canada and he is in Wisconsin). They key is having your own life and staying busy! But I completely know how you feel about going a week without seeing them when you are used to seeing them every day. Long distance sure is tough but I can't imagine my life without my boyfriend at all so we make it work
Joking aside, I really do hope Clancy and her boyfriend stay together. He really seems to boost her confidence! 💛

I am in your mother's generation and I felt the need to tell you that because I know your audience is probably way younger than me but watching you makes me feel very hopeful and optimistic about your generation. You are a very industrious, motivated and captivating person and a great role model. Now I want you and Zac to tie the knot because I truly believe that a legal commitment is a true sign of lasting commitment. I know it's popular for people to live together without that legality and some would argue that being married doesn't solidify that commitment (it's way too easy to get divorced these days) but I think marriage is the highest form of commitment and you and Zac are mature enough to make it work!! OK now I am off my parental soapbox. It's your life and of course you are free to do what you want. I am just sharing my "I am a perfect stranger making my own personal comment" here! I was long distance with my now fiancé for three years. We only got to see each other a couple of times those three years because of finances. I moved to CA from MS and now we are getting married. It was worth the wait. 🥰

Speaking as someone who worked in the business for a long time and has since left, naturally, there's good and bad to both. I definitely miss the news environment and the people. It's so hard to explain, but it takes a certain type of person to work in TV. I've had a really hard time adjusting in the seven years since I've left. I still feel like a complete outsider in my current business. And yes, I now have one of those boring desk jobs. I do not love it at. all. BUT...working 8-4 M-F and having all nights, weekends, and holidays off, have made it worth it for me at this stage of my life.
Cincinnati weather is crazy!!! One day it is warm and sunny and the next freaking day it is freezing with snow flurries. I'm glad Zach is back!

I'm in a long distance situation! We haven't seen each other in nearly 14 months!! It is extremely hard not being able to physically be with my baby, but he makes it all so worth it when we do see each other. I currently live in TN and he is in Charlotte. We met in college and have been best friends for going on six years. One day we just decided to stop acting like we didn't have feelings for each other and we've been "together" ever since! Between his busy work and basketball schedule and my health issues making it unable for me to work or travel long distances, it has been extremely difficult to maintain a healthy and happy situation, but we are making it!! We are hoping to see each other later this year, so fingers crossed!!

I watch these videos to remind myself that people can actually work a full time job, exercise, be in a relationship, be healthy and be happy in life with the right attitude. I don't know how this girl (whose channel I found like December las year) does it. She loves what she does, she lives in the moment and she seems so... together. I aspire to be this normal. Walking depression keeps you from so much.
