  • Many said Kevin Durant's legacy hinged on the outcome of Game 4 of the Brooklyn Nets' playoffs series against the Boston Celtics, and now that they have been eliminated, that legacy is in question. Chris Broussard tells Antoine Walker, Nick Wright and Kevin Wildes whether he believes KD's legacy can survive this loss to the Celtics.

Nick Wright always defends LeBron, too, and points out how other commentators take unfair shots at LeBron all the time. Even Broussard tries to be fairly even keeled with his takes on LeBron - especially when he's dealing with someone like Ric Bucher and Skip Bayless. Thank you Broussard, somebody finally said after all these years, KD ain't all that when it comes to dribbling, passing, he don't even drive like that fr, he can handle it but it's not something crazy, and that's no knock on KD, he's just a great shooter and he's long so he can shoot over most of his defenders,

It wasn't as much as going to Brooklyn was the mistake, but Kevin Durant's biggest mistake was hooking up with Kyrie Irving. Durant was the best player in the league when the Warriors were thumping the league. Steph was arguably just as important offensively, but Durant also played elite help defense and brilliant iso ball in addition to being an excellent cog in their machine. Durant has held his own statistically in his playoff matchups with Bron and Giannis. Durant definitely did not help his case this season, but he has a handful of years to try to tie/pass Bron in terms of championships. If/when that happens, the narrative changes.
