A fondly remembered episode where the gang learns the power (and inconvenience) of making wishes flippantly.

As many times as I have seen this episode and know it by heart--Im looking forword to watching it tonight with others!
Wow I can't believe I'm watching this!
In Phil's Visit, all Sam had to say when Phil arrived is "I need you to hand me your flask Phil because alcohal is not permitted in the store...you will get your flask back when your done and ready to leave"...but if Phil handed his flask to Sam--we wouldnt have an episode!

The only right thing that came from the coin was Sam using his 1st wish to give a wish to Sam Jeff and Muffy!!!!
Jeff could have wished for 5 wishes.....1 wish to get the gang back to normal.....2nd wish to not be a mannequin so he could leave the store....and use the remaining 3 wishes to give to muffy Jodie and Sam...1 wish each for Sam Muffy and Jodie.....and then use their wishes in the way they were meant to be used...........
well you know what they say in many movies and TV shows, you can't wish for more wishes, it never works

Kaplan should have lectured the gang very emphaticaly on accidental wishing and wishing without thinking... "This kaplan coin is benificial and lucky as long as you use your wishes wisely and don't waste your wishes on something you can get on your own otherwise...wish for something that is unattainable that you really need...if you use this coin responsibly and not thoughtlessly it will be of great use...don't forget what I said---when your wishes are gone you cant take them back"

The gang sort of cheated Jeff out of his only wish...he left quietly angry at them and disheartened at that he didnt get his own wish....like "I used my wish to save you...and all you can do is celebrate your back to normal and not acknowledge the fact that I never got my wish to come true".........
Yes, I felt badly for Jeff. The others were irresponsible and all of his hopes were dashed by his supposed friends. And they didn't seem to care, especially Jody.
Hoping "Junior" and "Going Out" get uploaded!!!! JUNIOR : THIS IS IT---DID YOU TURN UP THE HEAT SAM!!! YOU LOOK MORE LIKE A BAG LADY THAN A BOX LADY!!!! Junior was calling Mrs P. an old bag right to her face!!!!!
If Jeff knew the gang would foolishly waste their wishes before they wished, he could have made his wish 1st thing.....then let the others waste their wishes!!! Be like "Sorry Jody Muffy Sam.....I used my wish responsibly and didn't get thoughtless ...you were careless and thoughtless with your wishes when you should have been more mature and responsible...I can't wish you back to normal!"
When Sam said "I wish everyone else had a wish to be fair".......it was sort of silly for him to say "who wished".....Kaplan should have said or could have said....."I will not count the wish you just made as 1 of your real wishes Sam.....but that is the sound when a wish is made...you still have 3 wishes left"
Jeff could have made 3 wishes.....1 wish to change the gang back to normal....another wish to not be a mannequin....and the 3rd---wish could be to give Sam Jeff and Muffy each another wish.......Kaplan said nothing about "wishing for more wishes is not an option" so jeff could have wished for more wishes....if No more wishes was not allowed Kaplan could have said "should you wish for more wishes the coin will automaticaly be void and no longer work---choose your wishes carefully"
@Anonymous-qg9xx Or maybe Jeff could have wished for infinite wishes. That's what I would do if I was given three wishes from a magician, genie, etc. where I would wish for infinite wishes.

If Sam still had the coin...just before Jeff made his wish to save the gang he could have called on Koplan to help them out as this was a emergency situation...Koplan could have returned the gang back to normal by using a free wish courtesy of himself...and Jeff could have still had his wish.....
Kaplan did not say "YOU CANNOT WISH FOR MORE WISHES"...Jeff could have wished for as many wishes as he wanted or needed...he could have wished for Jodie sam and Muffy to have infinite wishes too!!!
Jody could have said: "Isn't Sam such a nice man....Im going to be more generous from now on to be more like sam"
Yes, but they all misspoke. This episode was like a dark comedy.
@tenderpawsm473 it wasn't a comedy...it was a cautionary episode wuth the message- be careful what you wish for
Waldo should have brought his Automatic Wishing machine in this episode fully fixed so Muffy would not use a rhyme to make it work...they could have used Waldo's automatic Wishing Machine..or the mirror......Buttons and Work(the wishing mirror) were prequals to this ep!

It's sort of strange how Sam lectures Muffy on the dangers of accidental wishing and making wishes without thinking.......and then Sam and Muffy wish accidentaly....Sam should have followed his own words of wisdom.....!!!! Sam never heeded his own warning....Muffy never heeded Sam's warning
Instead of wishing Muffy would dissapear, Sam could have said "Oh Muffy---you made a mess of my sandwiches. I am mad at you. Just go away and leave me in peace!"

At the end of the ep....the gang all agreed that the Koplan Coin was unlucky.....!!!!! I fully disagree!!! The coin was made unlucky by the gang wishing carelessly without thinking!!! That coin was abused and misused by the gang...when it could have been a real chance to better themselves!!!
Koplan looks like Colin Mochrie!!
Jeff should have wished for 2 wishes..a wish to return others to normal and a wish to not be a mannequin!!! If this was real life....the gang would have not have wished carelessly!!!

@@chuckbracken When he walked away quietly he was probably quietly angry at them and sad at the fact he had to use his only wish to save them...sort of like "you cheated me out of my wish"

Soapy Sue was obviously a lady who I thought would have been better actress to play the Grandmother in the Grandparents episode....not Muffy's Granny Sweet who looks liked Muffy!!! Koplan and J Ross Craven and Madam Melba seemed to be adult characters played by adult actors/actress......

Yeah, that was unusual. Junior was supposed to be a child. Why did they get an adult actor?
@@tenderpawsm473 Don't know why they had adult actors play childish roles(Greedy O Grady, Herman T Horrible, Junior---they looked to be adults acting like children for their roles).....Actually the boy that played Darryl(Adam Stostisky) in the "Going Out" episode was 12 or 13 yrs old.....he probably would have been better to play Junior.....as he was the proper age......
Junior: Did you do this give a gift display Jodie???.....Jodi: Yes I did! Do you like it Junior? Junior: I hate it! If it was up to me, I'd rather TAKE a gift!!!!

Herman T Horrible, Greedy O Grady, Junior all seemed to kids but adults actors were playing the roles acting like children.....I wonder why they didn't get actual child actors to play these characters.......
