Good evening :) After several months without being able to play any instrument because of an injured finger, at last I can slowly get back to it, and I thought I would celebrate with this music video. I’m an amateur and I’ve never really played in front of anyone so the recording was a challenge ! In regard to your "aware note". There is an option to lower sound for a specific segment of a clip, based on what video software you use. Just in case you want the "playing" section, to be of the same volume as the "non-playing" part. Either way, lovely video!

I almost never enjoy "no talking" ASMR, but I love harp music, so of course I had to watch this! You're so multitalented! I love the atmosphere you create, like showing the close ups of the beeswax candles--I feel like I can smell them in the air.

Oh Diane, you deserve every single one of those 100k subs! I hope that when your finger is fully healed we can persuade you to play for longer because that was truly beautiful. Your playing swept me away and it was over before I knew it. This whole video is stunning. I remember the bandage from the Folk Music Shop video so I'm glad that your finger is getting better. I had a feeling that you could play as you were so knowledgeable, and thanks to you I now know what strings are on a fiddle.
I must apologise to you though as I don't comment on your videos enough. Every one I have watched (most of them) are a masterpiece. I love the musical introductions and all the subtle sounds that you create. From the bags with the strings in this upload, to taking out and putting back the lenses to the scratching of the tapestries. I find them all so calming. To anyone who is new to this channel, I urge you to go and watch more of this wonderful lady now!

Can you please make a roleplay involving the harp? Here's my pitch: Someone needs you to compose a piece for an event the next day. Of course you can do it because you're amazing. Commence paper shuffling, quill writing, table tapping, some whispering, maybe some short bursts of harp to test a section, etc. The piece is complete, "Would you like to hear it now?" And then you play a song. "Do you like it?" Of course they liked it because you're amazing. Also, they probably didn't hear it because they fell asleep in the first five minutes of watching the video.

it's quite inconvenient to return to youtube every four minutes to replay the piece with the harp, but I still do it while I'm studying because it sound like heaven. it would be pure delight to have a full version if one day you would be in the mood to film such a thing

I played this one for the first time last night , I snuggled into bed and got cosy and tingly during the beginning as the papers crinkled etc and as that sweet music began I was asleep in moments. The music is introduced so well , it isn’t loud and jarring that it stops you from falling asleep or wakes you up if you’ve already fallen asleep , it’s perfect . You are a true master of your craft and I’m so pleased I found your channel xx

Your work is SO high-quality that it's like watching a short film, and makes a dramatic contrast to other things I see on CZcams (which generally look far less professional and polished). That "independent short," film-level quality makes it easier to immerse myself in the video and the other world it offers. This was just beautiful. I don't know what to call it, but I haven't seen it done quite this well anywhere else. It's a fully immersive experience. I like your videos because for all the obvious effort and planning you put into them, the result does not feel at all contrived, fake or forced. They are subtle, natural and spellbinding. You don't smile excessively all the time, or use an unnatural manner of speaking or whispering, and you don't make repeated sounds or movements for extra effect. I dislike this sort of thing in ASMR, as it breaks the spell for me.
I came across an interesting word that sums up the feeling I love that your videos capture: MIDDING: The tranquil pleasure of being near a gathering but not actively involved e.g. hovering on the perimeter of campfire or resting your head in the back seat of a car while others chat in the front. Feeling blissfully invisible and yet fully included, safe in the knowledge that everyone is ok, with all the thrill of being there without the burden of having to be.
I get this feeling of Midding when others are working in a calm, focused way nearby me, if I can hear them tapping, talking quietly, or making other small subtle noises it sends me into a drowsy pleasure. Your videos capture this perfectly, and combine it with a feel for beauty, aesthetic and atmosphere. I like your role-plays/personal attention stuff too. Again you never over-do it. It feels natural.
And you also seem to be so damn talented! Loved the music and everything else.

From the title I mistakenly assumed this was just harp playing, but I was wrong! The crinkle sounds and string threading sounds give me such tingles! I've been watching ASMR for ten years and to this day I've never heard such sounds, or seen the peaceful, graceful, soothing motion of harp playing. ❤Although this video didn't receive one Million viewcount, I hope you make another similar one please. I think new fans would be receptive to it, and even go back and view this one. ❤Perhaps you can role-play and do a performance for a noble or the French court👏👏👏
