Her blooms scale off of her level and how much HP she has so getting her to 90 is pretty necessary. Looking forward to the god mode!

They scale off of level only if she is the trigger. If not, then just HP.
Fun fact characters who’s scale of HP increase a certain of amount , not like atk scaling characters so getting her to lvl 90 is beneficial to maximise the bountiful cores dmg from her passive regardless who the trigger is

The blooms scale of level and EM and can't crit (level 90 makes a substantial difference). All the characters in the team trigger blooms constantly so the values for each can be very different. You usually would build a kind of "driver" in this case Barbara or Kokomi so you would slap as much EM on them with a decent amount of HP for survivability. Kokomi's proc blooms should do quite a lot of damage.
I would put 4pc deepwood on traveler, the 4pc instructors set on Collei abd 4pc gilded on Kokomi for max bloom damage. Also try abyss 12 floor 1 since it's perfect for Nilou
when nahida will be out, do you think she'll be a main dps with nilou sub dps? bc i really don't want to rebuild my kokomi.....
@@polyesterp7566 Officially we don't know yet, but she might be a good onfield dps for bloom depending on her weapon (if she's a catalyst, she might be the best)

@@polyesterp7566 I'm not sure, I think Kokomi would be better because elemental auras work different if you apply dendro on hydro than hydro on dendro, but I'm not too sure how that works. Still you shouldn't do too much for Kokomi, she doesn't need to have gilded you can do 2 wanderers 2 gilded or just slap the sacrificial fragments with your current set. She doesn't need to have 1000EM to do respectable bloom dmg
Nahida being a catalyst will solve Nilou's most notable problem of "needing to wait for dendro skill cooldown". However at this moment I find Nilou's triple normal to be a lot better in scenarios where enemies are spread out. This is especially true when you have her BiS sword as she will usually end up with the most em in your team.

fischl has the crit stuff but most of her damage even as my main dps comes from electro reactions (aggravate, hyperbloom, superconduct)

and then you farm for their artifacts and keep getting crit rolls
Her blooms won't crit, unless you have one of Nahida's constellations (c1 or c2. I'm not sure). She'll allow the bloom reactions to crit

c2, and its a fixed 20 crit rate and 100 crit dmg
@@kawaiilone according to leakers, Nahida's C2 is extremely broken for Nilou. The fixed 20% crate looks like too little, but Nilou creates so much cores that it becomes broken.
The real question is, do you have $300-$400 lying around for the 2 copies after you get her the first time.
Or are you willing to save about 4-5 months (if you're lucky and win 50/50 both times.) Or 8-9 months if you lose 50/50 both times for that C2
@@PlatinumO and my answer is, I can get 2 coppies now, just by saving in 3.0 and this update (and welkin), her C1 supports aggrevate which can help electro a lot, and I'll get the third one on her re-run
its so nice seeing characters whose kit is not only damage oriented, but rather have their own twist in their kit
i recommend if you use kokomi to basic attack you build her with full em that also helps the dendro cores dmg A LOT
When you drop all the dendro bursts you should switch to Kokomi ( she is like Xingqiu to HuTao for Nilou+ she has better hydro application) and keep attacking with her. When Kokomi applies hydro to dendro then it produces more cores than dendro to hydro. Also you should use 4pc deepwood on one of the dendro char for the dendro res decrease since bountiful core is a dendro attack. She is really fun to play imo and i hope people that wished for her enjoy her as much as i do 😸(If you want to maximize your bloom dmg then you can build EM Kokomi since she will be triggering blooms and they still scale of EM)
and since kokomi is the one causing bloom, build em on kokomi
@@abhishektirupathirao2769 depends what team you run in the double hydro double dendro yes build her em. But in solo dendro triple hydro you want your dendro full em since it more like the dendro is causing the blooms

it allows you to use both auras at the same time, and it wont waste the reset. i've tested it out and it's kinda fun

I think the cores damage depends on who's causing the reaction as well as their em and of course their lv also matters cause my lv 40 collei with 500 em was only doing 3k per core

from what ive seen u should try to put deepwood on one of the dendro chars (dendro res shred for blooms) and then after doing nilou's 3e combo switch to another hydro (usually barbara/kokomi) built with full em so when their attacks make the cores the bloom damage scales off of their em while getting nilou's dendro core dmg buff on top
The bloom damage values you are seeing are so very different because they are determined by the level and Elemental Mastery of the character used to create them. I'm going to assume your Kokomi has far less EM than your Traveler, Collei, Barbara or whoever was proccing the reaction before.

the way i understand it, in 2 dendro 2 hydro u actually want full EM kokomi since she's the one mostly creating the cores bc of her slow application, nilou is really only there to buff the blooms and the dendro units are just fuel for kokomi's blooms
(hydro on dendro only consumes part of the aura, whereas dendro on hydro consumes all of it, thats why kokomi is the most reliable trigger in the 2h2d team :)
6:20 Nilou Elemental Skill does have its own scaling/multiplier and it doesn't use the scaling on her normal attack talent. So raising it won't give you that much help.
Nilou Elemental Skill hydro infusion is also considered as Elemental Skill. Meaning Normal Attack and Charge attack buffs won't work on her Elemental Skill.
(Known passives that buffs Normal and/or Charge Attack)
Some can be found on 4pc Heart of Depths, 4pc Gladiator, and Wanderer's Troupe. And buffs from characters such as Yunjin and Candace
Tip: If you want to activate the Hydro ring from her Elemental Skill faster.
You can do Elemental Skill then Normal Attack Twice > Then Press Elemental Skill again. Normal attacking would give you tiny bit more damage + faster animation, so If u wanna maximize ur dmg and/or rotation speed you can do that combo instead.
Explanation of the Combo:
After casting Elemental skill you'll get this Image above Nilou which indicates how many Normal attacks or Skill press you have to do before activating the Passive Bountiful Cores.
After Clicking the Elemental Skill the first time, you can Normal attack twice and it will not Activate the Hydro Slash yet, unless you do the third normal attack stance. Meaning it's possible for you to Activate The Hydro Ring even if you normal attack before the third stance.
The hydro infused Normal Attack have higher multiplier than the Elemental Skill spam.
Love your videos, there are two ways to the new boss, you can use the Portal in the north and run thru the entrace there, it takes you less then a minute to reach the boss. Anyway, my Collei get arround ~7 up to 12k with arround 600 EM for her E Skill without any reaktion, if she fireup the reaktion she is a beast. I use traveler with the new dendro set and use Collei to do all the numbers :D
Hey Moga, if you are going for a team, let's say Barbara, Nilou, Collei and Traveler, use the dendro set on someone (most likely a dendro character) since it works like VV for dendro and really good for this team. And if you use Nilou's skill, apply dendro and then auto-attack with Barbara (or Kokomi) she should be build full EM because then Barbara/Kokomi is the driver for the reactions, so the damage goes higher with her EM while Nilou full HP for bloom team!
Some EM on others won't hurt either if you have artifacts for it! Nilou can also go with support weapon like fav if you are having issues with ER or just want more energy.

I want her so much but i personally dont like bloom, and i hate not building my characters with crit. if i would get her i would probably use crit build and hp sands but i heard she dosent do well as dps... :(I feel so bad shes beautiful af
Most of her personal dmg comes from hp and nothing else…. So crit isn’t even on the list for substats on her. Er is valid if you want burst nuke and uptime…. But hp % and em are her to go stats tbh
Tbh I don't like bloom either. But surprisingly I'm enjoying nilou superbloom quite a bit
actually her crit build does sm damage (for me atleast) so shes decent with crit and hp!! with a simple rotation she can get 100k+ birst

she’s a sword character so the whole “basics become hydro” would apply to nilou as well tho in her e mode it’s kinda useless. candace is still awesome tho but just not the best for nilou i don’t think but i’m also not the most knowledgeable on damage output so idk
Candace and Nilou don't work well together
Nilou's NA infused with skill count as skill damage, so Candace's buff won't do anything
Every NA scale with atk, you would need to give Nilou atk% artifacts to make her NA hit "hard", but you lose a lot of damage
Hey there! I saw your comment on aloy and I was wondering if we could see a full build. Also, totally agree. Nahida will give Nilou a really big buff for sure
@@hashiro009 My build on Aloy is 4pc BS, CR/ cryo/ atk%, with R2 Aqua Simulacra. Total CR is 49% (before BS bonus) and CD is 231%. It could definitely be better (rn I have 1680 ATK, 130% ER, 110 EM). My team is Aloy, Rosaria (emblem), Kazuha (VV), and Kokomi (tenacity). Will replace Rosaria with Shenhe when I get her. Will also eventually R5 the Aqua.
I'm planning on getting a 2pc Noblesse to make a 2pc/2pc set for reverse melts (sub Rosaria and Kokomi for Xiangling and Bennet). Atm I swap out my CD circlet for a CR Wanderer's circlet, which gives me the 2pc since my goblet is Wanderer's.
And just for memes, I'll eventually level up a 2pc pale flame + 2pc bloodstain for a physical build.
Right now she'd my best character and her freeze team is my best team. I can beat the Abyss, and the thing that's holding me back from 36*s is the fact that my OTHER team isn't good enough.

For Nilou teams you need to have Nilou with max HP and your other team members with max EM.
14:03 They are probably doing less because you don't have Dendro resonance anymore (increases EM), and I guess Collei had 4pc Deepwood, but Lumine doesn't. That would explain why the blooms were stronger before.
Or probably DMC didn’t have high em since she is most likely the one triggering the blooms she would be better off with the iron sting in solo dendro than nilou is.

She needs a specific team comp for her to work properly. Some would say that's really bad but I think it's more about how she is as a character. She serves the dendro archon, i would like to believe that she will get better as Nahida comes out and more dendro units are revealed. For now she's good but not so much that she's a must pull.

For her elemental skill, only the third hit matters as far as determining what effect it'll trigger. So you can go n2,e and get the hydro aura.
from leaks, nahida will have a constellation where it will allow blooms to crit, probably c1 or c2 from what i read around twitter
As far as I know it's C2 but Moga doesn't really like leaks (as far as I remember, but I also remember how he "guessed" the ascension materials for the new characters before Hoyo started publishing them in advance)

In a 3 hydro 1 dendro team you want the dendro to be triggering blooms, which means on-field and built full EM. Bloom damage is transformative, so it scales entirely off character level and EM. With the units we have currently, you'd want to play Nilou with Kokomi (or Barbara) and dendro Lumine + Collei. Kokomi would be the on-field bloom trigger in this team so she would have to be built full EM. I have a lv 80 Nilou with level 80 key and in that team I'm doing about 40k blooms in the current abyss.

You should be auto attacking with Kokomi. Since Kokomi is the one going to trigger, also build a full em Kokomi for max bloom DMG using something like the Guilded dreams set.
Tbh it kinda depends tho if you have nilou's weapon, she basically gave EM to other party members so its basically fine. Having 64k up to 70k hp is basically go to maximize her bloom damage
@@tenderjuicyhotdog27 IK but you can't control that jelly fish's trigger so it's better build Kokomi on em untill Nahida arrives then we sacrifice some em on Kokomi give her a hybrid build. Since Nahida will be be the trigger in that situation. You can watch guides like Zyox, Braxo, etc for more info about that.
@@robinj4286 well you can use kokomi as driver do some auto attacking for bloom to proc. Anyways yeah nahida probably will be the best teammate for nilou due to her dendro application
You probably want to build Nilou full HP and build EM on another unit. I think her best team at the moment is Nilou, Kokomi, Tralever, Collei but Collei will probably get replaced by Nahida later on. You’ll want to build Kokomi full EM and be proccing blooms on her. EM isn’t _totally_ dead on Nilou because you might proc a few blooms on her by accident. For slight optimization you’ll want to do her normal attack in her skill twice and then click her E on the last step. Apparently this is slightly faster? Anyway, I’m looking forward to God Mode!

Collei probably had deepwood set which debuffs Dendro res and raised bloom damage
I'm thinking triple hydro too, but only bc i have yelan and kokomi. this team would really rely on heavy dendro application (and high ER), so I guess we're waiting until that's a thing. Nahida looks more like a dps from the leaks, could be wrong but really what you'll want is a pure dendro off field support, as both nilou and kokomi want field time.
I really want her but I'm guaranteed and want Kusanali way more than Nilou😭 i just hope i can get her on her rerun

Idk, for me I'd get Nilou first then wait for Nahida bcs Archons tend to get reruns more frequently and more consistently.
But since you like Nahida more then ofc you should wait for her release
In prepration for Nahida, I highly recommend anyone with Kokomi to save Guilded Dreams artifacts for her. Nadiha has a low NA/CA range but amazing E-> Applies Dendro on many marked enemies (Similar to Yoimiya ult but much better) In Nilou's bloom team, Kokomi as a driver would fix lack of CC with her long range NA/CA, you won't even need ult for team to work, she also preferably uses Sacrificial Fragments. And Nilou can be built on crit focus for big pp ult damage.
I don’t love the current dendro units / bloom reaction, so I built her crit and SHES SO GOOD?? She literally hits better than my Ayato- his crit rate is pretty poor and he’s fast, but she on average hits 6k, 7k, and then third attack is 10k and does that cycle 6 times! And her burst does 25k ish in first hit, second explosion does over 30k per enemy that was hit. I absolutely love her and her playstyle and I prefer crit build to supports that need setup especially in overworld, and she fits so well with my current team. Kazuha, Nilou, Yae Miko, and Kokomi! -sometimes I switch Kazuha with Raiden and I just overall love the team comp options with dendro! ^-^

hey @moga, when you are using a team could you briefly show team's equipment and stats please? I am building this one too and I am considering the members I wanna use as well as the artifacts to farm, i.e. how important are Collei's and Traveler's equipments in relation to the damage dealt
You’ll want full em on DMC and collei and one of them needs the 4 piece deep wood and the gilded dreams on kokomi or Barbara since they’ll most likely be driving the team in the double hydro double dendro teams.
I think that the weapon that suits Nilou most (in appearance) is Haran.

Bloom damage increases based on the em and lvl of the character that triggered the reaction
I think they fixed Barbara's Dendro core productions in the update notes even though they don't specifically mentioned her name.
Going to hard pity 5 times has only happened to me once too. For Ayaka. I love her but I can't get over the amount of pulls/money she cost me lol I rarely play her because I can't let it go

Give her crits and see that burst vape damage. I gave her 70%+ crit rate and dang I just love killing the pyro cube over and over again

some notes for moga:
1) bloom (or any other transformative reaction like electro charged/overload) can NEVER crit, (as of now at least)
2) nilou is mostly AoE-locked, her single target dmg falls off quite a bit
3) watching you all this time, i suspect you're going to bench her really quick after god mode because of her extreme restrictions. its sad, but everyone plays the game a different way, not for me to judge

she looks like a character that is fun to play in aoe fights, ill pull for her on her rerun. the character one banner before an archon is always going to have bad sales numbers.

Bloom damage bonus starts at 30k hp and caps around 74k. Level 90-ing is a must for her because bloom damage scales of her hp which greatly increases with her level. 50k minimum hp for the best potential. With her weapon you should get 74k easily with 2 pc tenacity. I am able to get 72k hp with 4 gilded and her weapon which is a superior build if you reach the 70k threshold. Also her party members need to be lv90 and built with high em.
Is it me or there was a video where Barbara was really dealing lot of damage with dendro cores. Someone said that it might be fixed since it shouldn't be like that.
The same pulling happened to me with Nilou and her weapon, 5 pities needed to get C0 R1. At least I got few of the new 4* swords, they quite OP. Also I saw few other youtubers having bad such bad luck on this banner, may it be rigged somehow? 🤔
Yeah, I also got myself a Xiphos, was lucky to get it as my first 4* and not have to spend more primos. It's lvl 46 now since I'm permanently low on ore and also have just levelled Amos to 90 and Elegy to 70, so it's not my priority, but I've switched Kazuha's hat and gave him the lvl 46 Xiphos - I'd been happy with my Kazuha's build before but now it even feels smoother than before
@@atriyakoller136 Ye it really seems like a BiS 4* for Kazuha and Kuki too. And the stacking option is cool too, having both Kuki and Kazuha in team on this weapon can be really beneficial energy-wise. :D

I'm actually using a crit build instead of HP build, just cause Haran looks amazing on her and I didn't want to waste those 33% crit rate. It works surprisingly well. She can do some pretty good vape damage, especially with her burst. Even without vape, her personal damage is not bad. Of course, bloom is still her best playstyle, but you don't have to play bloom if you don't want to - she works fine in different comps.
RIGHT !! im actually surprised she did 100k burst dmg just with xiangling?? like her vape team is rlly fun and strong, imo i prefer it over bloom, the rotations r weird and restricting, but hopefully by the time goes by her bloom team becomes better
@@mavicore it would’ve been even better if her passives weren’t so damn restricted. Her damage is still pretty insane in vape teams but I was hoping for a more versatile kit and unfortunately hoyo disappointed me with her. Was really looking forward to her but I guess my wallet is saved for a bit lnao

Kokomi will need a ton of EM as a trigger.
Nilous claymore skyrockets the bloom damage by a lot. Not only it gives tons of hp to nilou, it buffs her em 300-400 and teammates up to 160.
