Ok here’s a story abt myself
When i was born i had black eyes and my parents git worried and i went thru lots of tests, meanwhile these test the doctors realized a small violet hue on my eyes that grew bigger and said that my condition was extremely rare and only 0.001% had it so about the black eyes is that i was born with a tin iris with super dark brown eyes and the pupil took all the place of the iris and about the violet hue its genetic but none of my parents actually had it so i dont know much, due to my weird eyes i would wear lenses to not get bullied by the time i changed schools because of the bullying after that, i met new people and after a year i knew i could trust them so i told them and showed them my eyes they said it was beautiful and i was very lucky. Around my first year of middle school, i felt something strange in my eye in class so i went to the toilef then i realized that the violet hue was lighter and it felt like the black eyes were gone then i realized the white part of my eye was red i wore back my lenses and went back to class after school i told my parents what happened at school and we rushed to the doctor, after a few tests the doctor confirmed that the pupil had grown smaller and left enough space for the iris for reasons i dont quite understand then he said the violet hue covered my brown eyes and the red eyes were due to having lenses during this moment after that i had to remove my lenses for a few years and i was scared to go back to school, but then everyone loved it and wanted to take pics but i denied to some of them. So thats it and my current eyes are violet…😅

To clarify, a lot of people claim to have either central heterocromia or hazel eyes when the actually have the other. Central heterocromia is when the eye is 2 different colors, like hazel can be. But they are seperated, so like a visible right around the puple or Jaír a shape surrounding it. With hazel eyes the 2 colors are mixed, c eating an ombré from the inside to outside or and mix of the colors that can change depending on the person. Hazel eyes are also commonly referred to one color and most of the times give off only one color looks if your not looking to hard, where central heterocromia it’s easier to tell the difference in colors from the puple to the outside of the eye. The reason it changes is because your eyes are rare. If your eyes start to change, it means that you have really rare eyes or it’s just because the melanin in your eyes are changing as you get older
Gray eyes are also apparently known for being confused with blue eyes. How you distinguish the two is by looking very closely for flakes of brown and/or yellow in the eye. I used to be interested in eye color as a kid, so I found out that I actually have gray eyes.

I kinda have sage green eyes (with a blue outer corner- you know the end of the iris is usually a circle with a darker shade of your eyecolor, well mine is blue). But because of my eyes not being strongly GREEN, many mistake them as being grey.
And because of the blue "outline" I don't even know if I classify under the "green blue-eyed" category or the "green-eyed" one. 😂
