- Could Insomniac's Spider-Man Survive Arkham Asylum? That's what I'll be discussing in this video where I'll have Peter Parker taken on the villains of Arkham Asylum such as Joker, Bane, Poison Ivy and Scarecrow to see if he can survive or fall short.

Spider-Man would still face a tough time. The Cloudburst, spreading a strong fear toxin across Gotham, and Joker's mental tricks would really test him. Spider-Man is not as trained as Batman to handle this kind of mental attack, making the situation very hard for him.
Dealing with the fear toxin from the Cloudburst and fighting off Joker's influence would push Peter Parker to his limits. It would be a huge challenge for him to stay true to himself and not lose his mind while trying to save Gotham.
I also think if the cloudburst did explode peter has no other way to stop it cause he doesn’t have a batmobile to fight and stop the cloudburst from the inside out

@@therocket2591 Agreed i think that the only way for Peter to stop the cloudburst at that point is to straight up nuke Gotham or something. Plus with Joker in his mind and seeing Peter's troubles with aunt May and uncle Ben and Harry and Otto and Lee, Joker would have alot more to use against Peter than he did against Batman. And insomniac Peter having a not as strong mental state as arkham batman could maybe cause Joker to break Peter.

Can he survive? Absolutely. Would he maintain his sanity? Probably not. Batman would have ironically had an easier time overcoming the other villains had Joker taken over, because he would have stopped holding back. This goes triple for Spider-Man...
I feel like if scarecrow ever made Peter badly hallucinate to try driving him insane, peter would kill him.(or like attacked him emotionally)
I mean, scorpion tried that shit with him, and it's already established that he's had to deal with mysterio's bullshit in the past, not to mention mister negative and all those mind games, so... not really

@@theredheadrevolution4156 Yeah but... when the symbiote did it. It did work and Peter would've killed Kraven. Plus scorpions poison isn't as powerfull and potent as scarecrows fear toxin. Mysterio didn't break Peter either because he didn't know anything about him. Meanwhile the fear toxin just shows you your worst fears. Mysterio and Mr Negative could never do that because at that time they didn't know Peter Parker was Spider-Man.

Even so, spider-sense is gonna render that shit pretty much useless anyway, cause while the fear toxin might (heavy emphasis on MIGHT) be more powerful than those methods, the principle is the same. Messing with your perception of reality. And unless you have very, VERY specifically tailored your drugs to counteract the spider-sense, it's safe to assume it's not gonna do that much better than any of those other methods did with him.
I feel like spidey clears this mid diff at most. Spidey in the game never really got over aunt mays death because he was still grieving. But he always kept himself under control until the influence of the symbiote brought out his emotions. Don’t really think crane gets a hold of spidey for the second & third time, Parker’s just too fast only real way crane could get him is through that elevator by infecting the vents. Spider-Man has way more than enough strength speed gadgets intelligence and mental fortitude to beat these villains. Plus Mr negatives effects are definitely more potent than fear toxin.
Yes i do agree that Lee's effects are more potent than the fear toxin. But the thing is Lee never tried to break Spidey. He just tried to get Spider-Man on his side. If Scarecrow was to give Spidey the dosage that could drive 10 men insane it would work completely diffrently. Because the toxin would show Peter his worst fears. And Peter would most likely see Miles, MJ, Aunt May and Uncle Ben dead infront of him. While it would be how they're dissapointed in him. How he failed them and that they're dead because of him. Kind of like how Bruce saw his parents. But the diffrence is that Spidey would break. The symbiote made Peter relive the memory of aunt may dying. And that mentally broke Peter. The only way to snap him out of it was Martin Lee and Miles talking to Peter and comforting him and how he's a hero and all that stuff. But not only would the toxin show Peter worse things and make him relive every single bad memory but there would be no Miles and Lee to talk Peter out of it. So Peter would break down mentally or go as far as too kill scarecrow without even realizing it which would break Peter even more. Peter could beat the Asylum in low diff if we are talking about physical challenge. But if Peter went through the exact same events as Batman then i do believe Peter would survive but his mind and mental state would be damaged beyond repair. And if Peter would have to go into arkham city after this i don't think Peter would survive just because of how damaged his mental state is after asylum and then you'd have Hugo Strange and Joker breaking Peter's mind even more.

@@Gamer-Wolf.The Symbiote wasn't making him relive Aunt May's death, he wasn't even reliving it over and over (he probably does relive it a few times through the story, but not a constant, more like every so often something happens that reminds him of it) it was just a mental block formed from his grief over May's death that made him feel (and become) not enough.
Also Peter isn't a stranger to illusions either, he's fought Mysterio plenty. He no-diffs scarecrow (plus Peter's a trooper, he'll just keep pushing on no matter how fatigued he is, physically or mentally. Like this is the man that took like what 2 years to finally take a mental health break to process and move on from his aunt's death? I don't think 3 encounters with scarecrow will break him.)

I love Arkham Batman, but Spiderman would've stopped Joker before everything else happened.
When Joker is standing on the edge of Intensive Treatment, "Stop this pull the plug stop me once & for all!" Spiderman would've webbed him right there pulled him over the gap and webbing him to the floor getting the Arkham guards to surround Joker.

That’s what I was thinking the game would be over sooner than if Batman was stopping it. Obviously I don’t know what would happen in City and Knight but I think he solos Asylum pretty easily

1. lee's powers have a stronger effect then scarecrow's toxins and pete beat that through willpower in the first game. 2. insomniac spidey has a resistance to toxins meaning he'd need a massively larger dose to affect him to the same degree it affected bruce in the first place. 3. unlike bruce spidersense would mean that scarecrow would not be able to sneak up on him to inject him directly with the higher doses he needed to truly affect batman like he required later. like, it's amazing people try to act like scarecrow is that big a threat when bruce being a normal human is the only reason crane got anywhere near as far as he did.

@Fizzynetic yes scarecrow could gas Peter but what the other guy was saying is scarecrow would be unable to physically inject the fear toxin into spiderman the same way he got batman so making the night at arkham play out similarly the same way it did for batman and batman was only gased once every other time is a physical injection
Since you stated that he has MJ from a connection like Oracle for Batman, I think Peter’s conscious would be a little clearer. She would tell him “It’s not your fault” for the Titan, since it died from its own from Joker.
For scarecrow, I think she would try to comfort him at the best she can, telling him to keep moving forward, to be a hero. Plus, I think the key to help Peter to escape Scarecrow’s fear toxin, would be listen to the encouraging words from his Uncle and Aunt. Since they are his light in strength, what makes him Spider-Man.
In conclusion, while Peter’s mental health would be tested, I think MJ and the encouragement from his Aunt and Uncle would give him the edge to push forward to save the day and put a stop to Joker’s plan. Beating the night of Arkham Asylum.
Nope MJ could not be able to help Peter at all during Scarecrows sections. Batman had Oracle and Alfred in his ear but during the scarecrow sections he couldn't contact them. And later on in arkham media it was revealed that while you are under the effect of fear toxin you couldn't hear the normal outside world. Which was shown in knight. While scarecrow was talking to the camera batman couldn't hear him because of the fear toxin Joker hallucination. Batman couldn't hear oracle or gordon during the scarecrow sections in asylum. Plus knowing Peter he would still blame himself just like how he blamed himself for the death of May even tho everyone told him it wasn't his fault.

It sprays through the vents, that’s how all the scarecrow sections start except for the final one where he actually injects you.

@@The_Blue_Otaku Each room that has a scarecrow section is already full of gas when the player gets there, so the hallucinations are unavoidable. Also scarecrow only injects you in person when you’re already tripping on enough toxins to drive ten men insane.
I agree that spidey could handle scarecrow, but he can’t avoid the toxin entirely.
Plus insomniac Spider-Man has nowhere near as much mental fortitude as other interpretations, especially the comics, so he’d definitely struggle possibly even harder than Bruce did when it comes to the fear toxin.

Don't know, I feel like after what he went through in the games spidey gained more mental strength and wouldn't be as easily broken from scarecrow. I feel like Miles helped him regain confidence and strength and also made some peace with May's death and other things. Cuz that is what spider man always does, he stands up back again no matter what.
Not to mention that after the second game it looks like he took a break for him to come back stronger and better so yeah I def see him making it through scarecrow.
Even martin li whos is basically a buffed up scarecrow in all ways cant corrupt spiderman in what way can scarecrow can corrupt spiderman?
@@spider-man5544well, I doubt spider has the ability to withstand fear toxin, that was stated to be able to drive 10 men insane. He did become more stable, but would that be enough? That is still a tricky one in my opinion

The only reason reason venom got through him was after the events of sm1 and years of being a superhero took a toll on him.

This is a semi-interesting concept of Spider-Man in each scenario, but I feel like none of it would happen to begin with. With his super strength and webs alone, he’d catch Joker before he escapes.
So can Batman but it’s a lot more complicated than that. Joker always has tricks up his sleeve and can easily attack spidey even when it’s least expected. Joker is on predatory timing. When you think you caught him lacking, he has you right where he wants you. Joker always steps ahead. Not even the world’s greatest detective can keep up with his antics.

Have you watched the Batman beyond movie? In that one, the joker is forced to fight someone else, and the result speaks to his lack of proficiency in fighting anyone _other_ than Bruce Wayne. Joker can get inside batman's head as easily as a fish swimming in water. A super fast, super strong, and super talkative heckler?
If you thought Joker was insane before, you probably don't want to see what Spidey will do to him.

If I might make a small correction, Spider-Man would be able to identify Scarecrow's fear toxin, thanks to the scanner in his mask, and fight through the hallucinations enough to find a lab (which he would later discover to be Dr. Young's lab).
Batman a guy who has fought through fear toxin before was affected by it badly to see the whole world completely distorted so no spiderman would not
@tfordham13 Fair point, but remember Spider-Man has a slight healing factor, so I feel like he might have a bit of a tolerance to it. Remember how Miles was able to just power through Scorpion's neurotoxin in the second game?

Peter does have a general resistance to toxins so fear toxin wouldn’t be as bad on him.
Not to mention crane would absolutely not get a chance to inject it.

Yeah. It would be out of his system way faster than Batman's, who is at the end of the day just a "peak" human.
Except he didn’t inject it, at least not initially. He used it in its gaseous form to get it into Batman’s system, then directly injected it only after he resisted the third round’s dosage. Same would apply to Spidey, and I doubt his Spider-Sense would be functioning properly while under the effects of Fear Toxin to begin with.

@GreenEyedWolf404 Nope. Spider-Sense continues to function as long as his senses are intact. He has managed to feel his way through nerve agents and psychic attacks. He is also resilient enough to survive poisons that would kill a normal person in seconds. The kind of adjustments Crane would need to make for Spidey would kill anyone else before they could be afraid. He wouldn't do that because it would hold back his whole gimmick.

* Could Bigby Wolf (The Wolf Among Us) replace Batman/survive the Asylum?
* Could Insomniac Spider Man survive Arkham Knight?
* Could the Suicide Squad survive Arkham City?
I feel like Bigby would just get outhaxed by someone like Ivy or Scarecrow, but that’s a very cool concept that I’d love to see. Wolf throwing down with Bane or Titan Joker would be lit

Video felt a little disingenuous just to give challenge to Spidey in the Scarecrow section, to be honest. His resistance to mind based attacks was already ridiculous in the first game; Surviving Scorpion's verbatim brain eating poison (long enough to make a cure while swinging across the city mind you,) And single handedly breaking free of Martin Li's grasp of his mind multiple times throughout the main campaign. It's hard to even make a case that the Fear Toxin could even work on your proposed "END OF THE SECOND GAME" Spider-Man when Peter got stronger physically AND mentally between/throughout all three games.
Not to mention, Crane can't even get close enough to tag Spider-Man with his needle glove due to the sheer difference in speed and the how the Spider Sense can detect toxins (and other dangers) being released into the air. Video could have spent some more time in the oven, respectfully
Respectfully spider sense only works when the plot demands it which mutes the detecting toxins in the air, scarecrow only managed to use his fear claw on Batman after he was already affected by the toxin in the final Scarecrow boss fight meanwhile he's just pumping the fear gas throughout the asylum during sections the player nor Spider-Man could avoid like the elevators and exits I highly doubt Peter would notice even with Spider sense before the gas could affect him, fear gas in the arkhamverse not only warps perception but also lures you into false sense of security before it fully affects you. Perhaps instead of glazing on Spider-Man's based abilities you should acknowledge how the Arkhamverse villains let alone the DC villains work respectfully.
@@BatmanDCEUThe only one Spider-Man would not avoid would be in the elevator. The gas also was quite obvious in the game, Batman just didnt have where to go to avoid it.
However, there is a problem. Spider-Man never actually utilises the elevators, crawling instead through the shaft.
So we have only one instance where he could inhale the gas, and it's the first one.

Scarecrow gasses you first and when you are vulnerable he attacks you to the point you lose yourself into madness,once his fear gas enters your mind it's a matter of time when you're leaving yourself exposed to him

I DO think he could probably overcome scarecrows fear toxin, it’d definitely cause issues but I think he’d at the very LEAST he’d know that it’s not real, and that’d help push him through
The big issue is the fear toxin, that is the number one threat to spidy. And i feel like after round one he would try to find away to make a gas mask if he can. And after round 2, he would 100% not be screwing around with scarecrow. His spidey sence would also help avoid getting hit by the toxins, or just help him break out of the effect faster than normal. The villains are definitely getting one tap by spider man.but they definitely will mentally scar spider man for a long time.i just don't see spider man keeping his sanity together while in Arkham asylum.he probably would killed a few villains or goons.

I think you forgot about MJ. You mentioned at the start of the video that she would be in his ear, updating him on the state of the world outside. But that would mean she's also there in his head offering emotional support, and considering how much of a foothold she has in Peter's heart, Mary Jane could pull him through these mental ordeals more smoothly than he could do alone. He'd be a little fresher going into the final battle than you think.
I do subscribe to the theory that Batman and Spider-Man would each dominate the other's Rogues Galleries, and your video certainly backs that up on Spidey's side, as he brute forces his way through Batman's most powerful foes with relative ease. Joker would **have** to get inside Spidey's head to even have a chance of beating him, because Spider-Man is funnier than him, and that would wear down his patience very quickly.
In regards to Peter being funnier than the Joker, I am reminded of the immortal words of Terry McGinnis “Wait, I like to talk too….”

Insomniac Spidey with his gadgets and powers puts Arkham in check, no problemo. He's nowhere near as mantally stong as Batman, but these enemies are physically and intellectually unprepared for Spiderman. Even if he got angry or even sloppy this could backfire on the villians. An unstable Spiderman might start killing them intentionally. Even Scarecrow, vicious though he may be, would have to be carefull. Spidey overcame the Scorpion's poison and Mr. Negative's projections. He is more resilient to inhalation of harmful gasses and toxins than normal people are. I think it's most likely that he goes through most of them mid diff in a good case scenario (with some difficulty at the end due to exhaustion and poisoning) or Spiderman brutally killing some of these dudes after being poisoned and hit with hallucinations in a bad case scenario.

There’s something that isn’t really brought up in the Insomniac games, but is in the comics. Which is that Peter’s body is actually more resilient when dealing with viruses, venom, etc.
Like in the Marvel Zombies event, where it took Peter much longer to get infected with the virus (although he did succumb to it eventually).
And even in the MCU, when Thanos snapped his fingers, Peter took longer than the rest to blip because of his powerful immune system. (Confirmed by Kevin Feige)
Depending on whether or not he has this could probably help his case with detoxing the fear toxin from his body while dealing with Scarecrow. But probably not due to (again) his weaker mental fortitude.
i think his spider-sense would warn him about when scarecrow is about to stab him with the fear toxin, letting him avoid it outright.

I like the idea of Scarecrow getting some fear toxic into Spidey, but my question is would he even be able to. Not only did Scarecrow do it once, so Spidey would know about the toxin, making a second and third dose a lot less likely, but the spider-sense would be most likely able to alert him to Scarecrow shenanigans. Is it a perfect answer, far from it, but I think Scarecrow would get one dose off and just be done in the second encounter, if he even manages to get that first dose.
We really just underestimating Peter's will power huh? Spiderman would be able ti tell the Titan Henchmen died of heart attack, he would be able to sense it, making it less convincing. Also Scarecrow wouldn't be the first time Peter would have to break through his fears and guilt. Symbiote suit gets into Peter's head in multiple situations, he would likely break through.
1. Like you said in your Telltale Batman vs. Arkham Asylum video, Spidey would have the means to web Joker off where the Titan henchman is when Joker offers Spidey the chance, because of the Bat-anchors.

Before the first titan fight Joker gives batman an opportunity to kill him, he knew batman wouldnt but still. Assuming all events happen but with spider-man there instead this scene would have spidey swing up to the joker and web him up, with the joker webbed up, mouth included the rest of the night doesnt really go anywhere, Harley Quinn would fold without Joker in this game. Meaning Scare crow, Bane, Poison ivy, Killer croc are never set free meaning nothing else happens. The story would end with in the first 5 minutes of play time. Even if the Joker didnt let spider-man have a one up on him and just released the titan on him spider-man would either web up the Joker during the fight with the titan or he would web zip up to him as he slowly moves away on the titans cage. No matter what spider-man Arkham asylum ends real quick before anything of note happens.

Only nitpick I have is that I feel you underestimate both Spider-Man's spider-sense and his resistance to toxins: this Scarecrow would not poison Peter twice.
And even if he did, he would likely need much higher doses to effect Peter like it affected Bruce. (But if he was indeed poisoned and to the degree described... yeah he would have a horrible time winning that one)
Bruce has spent years training his mental capabilities, Peter hasn’t. Pete (although he has an incredible mental fortitude) only has it because of his experience as a hero and his general personality. Batman has an equal amount of experience as a hero, but he’s also got years of training in order for it to reach its peak. Batman was able to fight off an incurable disease because of his willpower.
So it’s a fair assumption to make that Batman would be able to more easily fight off mental challenges than Spider-Man. (Although the 2 are obviously incomparable since we have little information on the fear toxin, and it’s all just speculation)
In defence of Spidey, not only would the antivenom suit obviously protect him from Scarecrow’s toxin (probably why you said he couldn’t have it) but I’m not sure if Scarecrow would even get him. His spider sense would alert him to the gas and definitely to the larger dose that Crane had to inject so Peter would probably be able to defend himself.
Would he be able to handle it in Arkham Knight though? It was strong enough to kill Poison Ivy. Not to mention it was able to get through gas masks and machines. The Batmobile was only protected because Batman put that tube thing in it even then it was still effecting him as we see Jokers everwhere.
@@CynderSpirit I’m pretty sure it killed her because she absorbed enough to cover the whole city and it has a different effect on plants compared to people. Batman took multiple injections and his actual physical health was never in danger. Plus the Antivenom suit canonically protects from all toxins so it’s not like a stronger dosage will effect him. Also he wouldn’t be dealing with Joker insanity so that would make it a lot easier.

But he would still have to find a way to stop the cloud burst which would include him diving into the gas. I can probably see him developing a cure (Then again Batman probably could have as well) but that could still take days to perfect.
Ivy dieing was a mixer of both, she had to absorb all the toxins to keep the plant alive as the toxin was polluting the air enough to kill them.

Yeah but Spidey having no rest having already fought Bane, Harley, Titan Henchmen, Joker and having gotten the effects from the fear toxin could've damaged his spidey senses. Also during the third time i'm pretty sure Scarecrow was behind bars while Batman grabbed scarecrow through the bars and Scarecrow quickly injected his arm. So if Peter let Scarecrow go then Scarecrow would just escape. And if Peter would chase him down the elevator then Scarecrow like in asylum would pump the fear toxin through the air vents in the elevator effecting Peter anyway.

The big problem with Spidey vs Ivy isn't even her physical power (though in that respect she's the only one here who is remotely difficult), its her pheromones.
Ivy is a seductress... she is good at picking up on who is vulnerable to that sort of thing and playing mind games to give herself the best shot at deploying them. It's established in the interview tapes she was able to psyche out and slow dose her own psychiatrist at Arkham, lol. Imo she'd start on that immediately with their first encounter (as she doesn't have the bad blood with Spidey she has with Batman and vice verse, plus because Spidey is much younger, more hormonal by default, and clearly more playful in how he speaks).
IF Ivy can get his guard lowered enough to gas him with pheromones, or gosh forbid to plant a poison kiss, that's him done for the night as he becomes an Ivy drone and then probably goes and beats up Joker and the GCPD on her behalf, lol. There are versions where her pheromones have worked on Superman himself... that's a problem.
Spidey is notoriously a ladies man and kind of a flirt. We see him interact playfully with Sable, and Sable is ostensibly an enemy for half the game while also being extremely disciplined and not playing along herself until the tail end of her DLC when she relents *a little*. Ivy would play along almost immediately, lol
I think the thing is the spider sense would warn him of a potential death before she could get the kiss off and Spidey would start a fight. He isn't stupid but he would likely let her close and Ivy is kinda not one for fast kills so that would give peter a chance to win.
The only reason it worked on Superman is because her pheromones were combined with Kryptonite. And Superman was resistant and needed to be re-dosed constantly. Spidey has a resistance to chemicals, so I don't think it'll affect him.
Personally, I'm just gonna say it, due to Mr. Negative constantly affecting Spidey's mind I doubt Scarecrow's Arkham Asylum toxin would work on Spidey. Keep in mind Scarecrow's Toxin improves per game due to the lore drops we get through the different games.
But let's just say if scarecrow's toxin works on Spidey, then the real problem is Poison Ivy consistently has had an equal toxin in all games that rather then torturing the mind, it controls the mind.
Ivy would have complete control over Spidey's mind if Asylum Scarecrow does as much to his mind.
It could be argued that scarecrow’s toxin is stronger than Ivy’s though, since Batman is completely unaffected by Ivy, whereas with scarecrow’s he is affected but overcomes it.
Spidey has the mental fortitude to resist fear toxin. Not only that, but he's more resistant to chemicals than an ordinary person. Spider-Man is physically on another level compared to Batman: most I've seen Batman lift is 1,500 lbs., Spider-Man can lift at least 10,000, usually more like 30,000; Batman can run up to 30 mph, Spidey 60 (120 mph when web slinging); Batman's reaction time allows him to occasionally block or dodge bullets, Spider-man's reflexes are 40 times faster than an ordinary person's (and his spider sense is makes him literally psychic); Batman can take punches from superhumans like Slade, Croc, and Bane and keep going, Spidey's taken hits from the Hulk and kept going. Arkham just wouldn't pose a physical threat.
Arkham Asylum would be Arkham Stroll for Spider-Man.

Well his spider sense would never run out even when he is hallucinating the reason is that web of destiny exists. This does not depend on whether spider man is tired or hallucinating, it is meant to warn his body about the incoming dangers. So even in hallucination, he can dodge and protect himself.

Here his my take on the scare crow fight. One thing is being very looked. That MJ isn’t just in his ear. The mask as a camera! While she can’t see the hallucinations, she can see what scarecrow is really doing. So, while Peter is coming out of his second dose. Scarecrow won’t have the chance to inject him with the 3rd dose. MJ will warn Peter faster than his spider sense would. Allowing him to jump out of the way and Web ScareCrow up. I honestly don’t think the 10 men dose will land.

I get focusing in on the fear toxin since that's the only actual challenge available for Spidey. But I think it's a stretch to say he'd get hit as often as Batman did. I'm not sure Scarecrow even gets any chances to inject. Compared toxin levels to Scorpion and Mr. Negative. But not considering their abilities that would allow them any chance to impact Peter. Crane is just a guy in a weird suit. He's Mysterio with a different mask on. One that would need to get far closer than is believable.

I like your theories and ideas for this, but there are only a few things I think that would've played out differently.
To be honest, I dont know if Scarcrow/Crane would be able to inject peter with his fear toxin thanks to his spider sense. The only way i can see crane hitting peter with his toxin is by either holding him down long enough, or sneaking up on him which would have 60/40 chance of succeeding. So he might be able to hit him once, but peter will be on guard for his next strike. Not only that but if he had the Anti-Venom symbiote threw this. The suit would cure the fear toxin before peter could experience the toxins effects.
Plus with MJ there, i can see her comforting and encouraging him too keep going. Plus I think she would learn that the titan henchman actually died from a heart attack, and that Joker was trying to get inside his head (only if she was in gotham though, of course. also she has put herself in dangerous situations before, so I think she would go into gotham even if peter told her to stay away)
And again, if he had either the venom or anti-venom suit. He would easily be able to clear the night with ease. The only difference is that a Venomized Spiderman might not actually pull his punches at all.
Plus, if he was close to killing kraven in spider man 2, then he is most likely going to kill Joker in just a single punch if he did get inside his head.
Plus he would have about 12-14 gadgets which are the spider arms and web wings. Plus his speed would be off the charts since hes able to travel at incredible speeds in the 2nd game.
So imo, i think peter wouldnt be struggling that much. The joker can get into head, I won't deny that. But i think Insomniac would actually be okay.

The first titan henchman you face in Arkham Asylum reminds me of the Batman Beyond villain "Big Time", especially the disproportionate limbs.
There's always the chance that, Peter when facing Scarecrow, just webs him to the wall or his spider sense warns him of what Scarecrows about to do, or if it does happen, maybe a hallucination of miles or MJ saves him, like how Uncle Ben did in spectacular spider man when Peter had the symbiote, cause even if Peter has a weaker mental state then batman, he probably has just as strong a will to keep fighting and surviving, but I can see how he could fall to scarecrow like that
Now i'm just imagining a spiderman hoped up on Fear toxin running around arkham frothing at the mouth and punching bosses jaws off Superior spiderman style
When Spider-Man is frustrated he normally stops holding back.
While I could see Scarecrow getting Spider-Man the first time, I can’t see him getting the hero with fear toxin again, at least not without being really creative and having some serious help in making sure the young man can’t evade the toxin. Also, if this is post Spider-Man 2, then this Peter should still have the Anti Venom suit, and even if it cannot get rid of the Fear Toxin like the 616 Symbiotes likely could, it would likely dampen the effects into something quite manageable for Peter. After all, it has the same properties as the Symbiote suit, but minus the high aggression and sound based weakness.
Now we need could Arkam Batman survive insomniac spider man’s games
I feel like people forgets that unlike batman, spiderman doesn't bound with no killing code. He will kill if he pissed off (symbiote or not). He doesn't kill because he's a good person. We see this time and time again. If the joker pissed him off enough, he'll probably rip him apart and doesn't care. And the joker death doesn't mean anything because peter simply don't care.
Insomniac’s Spider-Man does have a no killing rule though, as seen in the side quest with Yuri

With Ivy, Peter is still a young adult and has gained the reputation of being a chick magnet and since Ivy doesn't have the same history with Spider-Man as she does with Batman, I can see her playing the role of the 'suductive mistress' as she did in her Arkham Tapes.

I don’t think Scarecrow will be as big a threat to Spider-Man as you say he is. Spider-Man is shown to use his webs to plug up leaks which with his spider sense would probably have him with a smaller starting dose. He is also supposed to have good resistance to toxins so the 4 injections Crane has in his gauntlet won’t be as useful. Since Batman resists them and the gas at once.
Joker’s disappointment after the first titan fails gets him to think out loud and state that he needs stronger test subjects. He could still lie about it but Spider-Man would still overhear that and doubt him. That thug also dies while holding his head due to inner pain while backing away. That and the fact he dies pretty quickly would let Spider-Man know it’s not his fault as he was probably webbing him up for most of the fight.
