When Jason shot the RPG at Black Mask from another building it reminded me of Arsenal doing the same to Lex on Young Justice maybe the creators took inspiration from this scene of Jason and Black Mask?

Red Hood is such a cool character. I'm kinda glad that the readers decided to kill Jason Todd back in the day
Prism King Genius is not usually appreciated in it's time.In the present,it usually sounds weird and wrong to unopened minds.
It was a HUGE risk the writers took at the time but it is really awesome it paid off real good.

That is just beautiful how they brought him back.They showed respect to fans by not just shoving Jason into a new story and give some halfwit explanation because trust me,fans would have taken Jason Todd in any form.
The death and its effects on Jason,Batman and even Alfred were explored.The grief and all the human emotions anyone,even Batman should feel after going through something like this.
Then they made Red Hood a mainstay in the DC universe.
This comic is definitely up there with greats.
Fortunate Anane Except it wasn't a risk at all? They let the fans decide if jason should die with a voting poll. The fans decided for jason to die because he was a hated character by nearly everyone. Bringing him back wasn't a risk either because if nobody liked redhood, they could've just never used him again or killed him off again.
Personally i prefer it when he was dead it show that batman was indeed fallible and that he failed Jason todd when he needed him most. But if not dead then they should make him a villain as he only works as a ploy for batman, not going into a a role of heroics and having a star in a lame RHATO book.
I preferred the fearsome four from the under the red hood movie than Captain Nazi, Hyena and Vertigo
That goes to show how good that movie was.
Under the Red Hood is my favorite Batman movie of all time, including the live action movies.

Yeah they were not bad for throwaways movie villains, but during the fight I kept hoping Count Vertigo would show up, completing the team (assuming TFHOF had devices that nullify his powers).
Oh well, good movie. Needed more Black Mask but what we got was good IMO.

Because Deathstroke could take down Red Hood. And this was a Batman story. Therefore Batman needs to be the one to take him down. That's why they have the throwaway villains.

Alberto Fuentes deathstroke would have been to much in a battle to the death. deathstroke has consistently beat down batman in the comics when they encountered eachother
Alberto Fuentes I don't think anyone put on contract on him at that moment or he just wasn't as interested at the time but Deathstroke would've easily subdued or killed Jason if he wanted to but Slade's the type of person to only take action unless a huge reward is involved or it's really personal

I prefer the comic take on most of this stuff but the movie take on the fight with the hired killed is way better. Especially with the ending, it shows Red Hood as more aggressive and gruesome with completely blowing the guys head off and gives Batman a real reason to be upset.
Lost Days was interesting, not as good because it was just bridging his Resurrection and Under the Hood , but definitely worth the video. Not 2 videos though, just a one-parter. Perhaps Batman: Year 100 next? Or maybe pre new 52 Aquaman books? Peter David, or John Arcudi?
I realy enjoyed these comics I'm not a huge red hood /jason fan but it was so good, even ties it self into hush and later on infinite crisis all though red hood lost days is just ok
