You might already know this, but traditional pipe organs are played with feet as well as hands. Pianos have pedals that control sustains and dynamics, but the organs pedals control pitch. It’s pretty freaking crazy (and that’s without considering the second tier keyboard and all the valves.)

Interestingly this keeps with the spirit of shanties, typically one cannot properly sing a shanty alone, they can come very close by subbing in and out extra parts but you don’t get that “full” sound

I can see this being a skit in a mall or downtown area where there are several pianos, one guy starts on the first piano playing the basics, then other “random” people from the crowd join in adding more and more complexity to the song while with each added person the others get more angry, like it’s a competition.
