No way it survived an entire rocket salvo from a gunship, my turrets get blown up by a single rocket devastator rocket
I thought when the gunship rockets came in,it was done for but, seeing it shoot when the smoke settled was something else.
They got buffed in the big patch, they can actually take a hit or two these days.
The turrets are fueled by your own patriotism... you're the problem.
I really like where rocket sentries are. It's nice to have a reliable fixed position like this, wish the other turrets could atleast scratch heavy armor...
Both the Autocannon sentry and Mortar sentry are able to destroy heavy armor.
Autocannon Sentry is still much stronger for sure. But it now has a solid long range sibling.
@@Vespyr_ i think autocannon sentry is better when the enmy is all coming in one direction while rocket aentey can pivot.
@@Vespyr_AC turret range is 125, rocket is 100 with a sizeable AoE. Both have their uses. The only outlier now is the Tesla which is more of a team killer than a gap closer.
The sentry changes were pretty well done.
@@IRMentat AC turret still is superior to them all. Now that you just noted AC also has superior range this makes Rocket Sentry look even worse than it did previously. I can see bringing AC and Rocket together but there's no reason why I'd prioritize rocket over AC by itself.

Sentries are quite durable after the latest patch. Their biggest weakness is explosives (and Chargers), so if the enemy is firing with small arms they can survive for quite a while.

Automatons learning it was a bad idea to not give their small caliber attacks any decent armor penetration just because Helldivers are unarmored.
