The "super siblings" thing happens when two teens live in a house together, regardless of their actual relationship. I know it's meant for step siblings and the like but it's just weird that it counts any two teens living together as that, makes storytelling a little difficult 😂
Ohhh, I like to play foster families and blended families so I never thought about how weird that sentiment might be in other scenarios with teens living together lol...EA should make it so that teens in a romantic relationship don't get that sentiment
I know a lot of people don’t like to cheat but if you put in testingCheats true in the cheats bar and shift click on the person, I think it’s like in the third group of options, there’s an option that says cheat relationship and remove relationship bit and you can remove it that way!
tbh I don't really find it that weird, you can truly feel like a teen love is like your sibling. For me at least I would of had the 'super sibling' on friends in high school in real life, because we where so close we felt like siblings and even people who are dating can feel so close in that way too, I feel people are just so scared of "incest" that even when its not simmers are like always complaining about it even when its a pretty normally feeling to a childhood crush or friend to feel that way

I played as weasley family member in Glimmerbrook, from todler to young adult and moved out to live with an elderly "aunt" while I found a job and since I couldn't make her a relative she got flirty with me...the huge age gap also didn't help. I SO hate the stupid random push-ups!! They need to find another way to express a Sim is energetic. Also, I wish they would add a way for you to turn off the mobile phone interaction. Nothing breaks immersion more than your 1890s Sim whipping out their phone to check their feed.🤬 Bring back wall phones!
1:50 Oh, my goodness, yes! The fact that the filters don't work drove me insane; especially before I realized the top left icon being present means I don't have all the content for that lot. I got so frustrated with the Gallery due to it that I didn't use it for years, and only recently started to after I figured out the icon thing. I wish they would fix the filter but at least I don't have to fall in love with a lot, click on it, only to find out I don't have the content for it. Now that I know about the icon I have blinders on and don't even register the ones that have it now, LoL.
They keep insisting it’s “by design” that the filter is “inclusive rather than exclusive” I think its the weirdest, stupidest design choice if it’s truly by design. More likely, they originally meant it to be exclusive but then didn’t invest in the programming necessary.

I admit it's a hard story to write and mostly at the moment its just kids being kids but if they did end up together I assume they would feel like "super siblings" even though they aren't and are in love
That thing about the gallery. Yes the selection menu doesn't work but the gallery will tell you if you miss packs from that lot/sim without even opening each item individually. Look for the little green plumbob thingy on the top left corner of each item. If there is none, you have all the packs you need for that lot, if you see it, you're missing something.
I feel like this is something that not a lot of people know about, but you can actually bundle and save when you’re buying packs which makes it so much cheaper. So if you wanted to buy an expansion pack you should get it with the bundle so you can also get a stuff pack and a game pack for free. I’m pretty sure it’s $40 for all three. That’s what I’ve done which helped me save so much money
Seeing the sims 2 on a Sony Ericsson really just brought back a memory I’d completely forgotten. I was in year 5 or 6, my cousin gave me her old phone. It had sims 2 on it and was a Sony Ericsson too 😂😂 I swear I was addicted to it, I have no idea how I could have forgotten 🤦🏼♀️
I don't use any CC or mods but I literally have 100 percent of the Sims 4 packs, expansions, etc. installed. (I'm -that- person encouraging EA to continue their nonsense, sorry.)
TS4 does have autosave, just on console. From experience, I have relied on autosave SO much, from accidentally forgetting to save a legacy challenge to forgetting to save halfway through building a really nice apartment, it helps so much, especially as I usually forget to save when going to a different game or turning off my Xbox. I completely agree though, we are WELL overdue for The Sims 5.
The grilled cheese thing is kind of funny that you don't have them. In the US 90% of restaurants offer grilled cheese at least on the kids menu. Also can't believe the eyeball ring is a thing. Anyway funny watch, enjoyed it! Blessings!
I think the worst thing about the sims resource is that I am alright with waiting to download my cc BUT I need to have multiple tabs downloading cc and not be on that tab that is waiting for the download. If you try and download multiple cc at once tsr won't let you do it and you have to be on that tab.
I paid once for the sims ressource they had a sale so i gave basically 2 euros. (I have no idea what that is in dollars but it's about 1,5 pounds) It was a bad decision, sure it was fun to insta download everything and I still have some of the downloads, but honestly their CC is not very good, and doesn't hold up to the standards of other CC

I remember when Costco sold hamburger cakes from their bakery. I got a hamburger cake for my birthday because I was working at Burger King at the time. I was in my late teens at the time. I might have been 19 going on 20. It's kind of a blur. I also remember when they had these cakes that looked like Hostess's Ding Dongs. We used to get it for birthdays, and it was actually pretty good. It was cake, covered in a thick shell of chocolate icing, with a layer of raspberry filling in the middle. I think it tasted better than a Ding Dong. This was all around the mid to late 90s. I didn't know about Sim 4 until I watched a random video about someone doing a 100 Baby Challenge back in 2018. Once I saw the shark water slide, the hamburger cake and Oasis Springs, I had to have this game. The Hamburger cake was a big draw for me. So, I was pretty disappointed to find out that it was limited to a promotional deal.
4:35 mysims is actually a whole spin off series. they released a bunch of different games on the DS and Wii, and a lot of mysims stuff is in the sims 4 including the BFF household, mysims figures, mysims racing/mysims go! on gaming consoles and some mysims build and buy stuff. however they stopped releasing games in 2010 or so which sucks. mysims holds a very special place in my heart, i definitely recommend the original game on PC!!
All the old side Sims games were amazing! All the Sims 2's on the PS2 were my favorites. Castaways is amazing and I wish they'd do something like it again. Also does anyone remember SimsOnStage? The karaoke website they used to have up. I never see anyone talk about it.

It's from WW and you have to go in and turn that setting on. It's off by default.
The Sims Resource has shortened the download time (at least for sims 4) to 15 seconds. Buuuuuut it also times out super quick and you have to redo everything. I do agree though, the subscribtions for TSR are bullsh*t
I actually like the university pack. Its tough and you can do fun stuff...if you want to slack off! Its a nice challenge. My sims always pass😌. *brags* *brags* I do agree EA needs to drop this highschool pack and just forget about sims 4 altogether. i want my mods to always work!
It's challenging but after a couple of times I became better, I managed to do 4 courses in one semester and get A+ in all four, while living in university housing (but I made my sim spend all of their time on studying) the trick is to enroll just before a weekend starts, do all the homeworks, term papers and final presentations over the weakend before you even went to class for the first time, and then do the homework as soon as you out of class. Now even 4 courses in a semester is not challenging enough for me (mostly because I don't care enough for the social activities in uni and put sim into the studying grind) but if you have only 2 courses you can definitely chill out and have fun. There are so few genuine challenges in this game that university feels like a breath of fresh air, even if it's almost impossible, and it's not even the 'so buggy it's impossible' impossible so I am not complaining
NO computer WITHOUT a dedicated, discreet, video card should ever be made. Shared RAM between the CPU and GPU is an aberration. Even after the latest updates, I still have brother and sisters falling in love with each other, or with one of their parents. In fact, it happens MORE now than before the release of High-school Years. Romance bar fully pink. My Sims NEVER go to the campus EXCEPT for the 3 courses from invited teachers and give the 5 they need to give. Campus life ? What's that ? Well... In the city where I live, there are 4 universities, THREE of them are in the downtown area, the fourth is close to the geometric centre of the city. There are NO actual campuses, the student housing is city housing. There is an autosave for The Sims4, but you need a mod for that.

The only reason Sims 4 is still being made is because Sims 5 is going to be able be played online with other player and use virtual reality goggles. Plus it has to be able to be played without it for another version. Plus as you said 4 sucks so they have to change it and make it better. It's gonna be a while before it comes out. honestly I've had an easier time with the Sims 4 University than I did in Sims 3. I had to use mods to make it easier because they just couldn't pass and do a minimal amount of fun things lol. when I send my Sims to Uni in 4, it doesn't have to be the whole game because it's not a travel destination. same with getting to class. I always had to make sure my Sims were outside of their class like an hour before or they'd be late. I don't have to worry about that at all in 4

university pack is ultimate trash, glad I didn't pay for it, got the sims 4 as a gift. to get the degree I had to get a camping tent outside of the door and bench with laptop to finish it. I did my nails and brushed my irl cat while I kept clicking do homework go to class. I had my sim constantly on potions of plentiful needs and cherry berries since she was a wizard ocult and I had an inventory full of potions and ingredients from living in Glimmerbrook as a teen.

Sims 2 and 3 barely turn my fans on. But then again, I think Sims 2 can run on only 56mb of ram

I don't know why, but my MacBook gets hotter when playing Minecraft than when I'm not only playing Sims 4 but also casting my screen in the call on discord... That's quite a flex ha ha

mccc has auto save but its a pain it freezes your game for a couple of seconds and you get a reminded its been saved but its a lifesaver
The incest stuff is because with Wicked Whims, you can have incest so long as you don't get the version from Patreon. So the 2nd person was banking on ppl not knowing that and hoping to pass it off as a weird glitch. But that person just put themselves and their incest fetish on blast lmaoo

The Sims Resource has shortened the download time (at least for sims 4) to 15 seconds. Buuuuuut it also times out super quick and you have to redo everything. I do agree though, the subscribtions for TSR are bullsh*t
I actually like the university pack. Its tough and you can do fun stuff...if you want to slack off! Its a nice challenge. My sims always pass😌. *brags* *brags*

It's challenging but after a couple of times I became better, I managed to do 4 courses in one semester and get A+ in all four, while living in university housing (but I made my sim spend all of their time on studying) the trick is to enroll just before a weekend starts, do all the homeworks, term papers and final presentations over the weakend before you even went to class for the first time, and then do the homework as soon as you out of class.
Now even 4 courses in a semester is not challenging enough for me (mostly because I don't care enough for the social activities in uni and put sim into the studying grind) but if you have only 2 courses you can definitely chill out and have fun.
There are so few genuine challenges in this game that university feels like a breath of fresh air, even if it's almost impossible, and it's not even the 'so buggy it's impossible' impossible so I am not complaining
NO computer WITHOUT a dedicated, discreet, video card should ever be made. Shared RAM between the CPU and GPU is an aberration.
Even after the latest updates, I still have brother and sisters falling in love with each other, or with one of their parents. In fact, it happens MORE now than before the release of High-school Years. Romance bar fully pink.
My Sims NEVER go to the campus EXCEPT for the 3 courses from invited teachers and give the 5 they need to give. Campus life ? What's that ? Well... In the city where I live, there are 4 universities, THREE of them are in the downtown area, the fourth is close to the geometric centre of the city. There are NO actual campuses, the student housing is city housing.
There is an autosave for The Sims4, but you need a mod for that.

I have no problem playing the sims 4 on my laptop that isn't a gaming laptop.
The only reason Sims 4 is still being made is because Sims 5 is going to be able be played online with other player and use virtual reality goggles. Plus it has to be able to be played without it for another version. Plus as you said 4 sucks so they have to change it and make it better. It's gonna be a while before it comes out. And as you said they like easy money

honestly I've had an easier time with the Sims 4 University than I did in Sims 3. I had to use mods to make it easier because they just couldn't pass and do a minimal amount of fun things lol. when I send my Sims to Uni in 4, it doesn't have to be the whole game because it's not a travel destination. same with getting to class. I always had to make sure my Sims were outside of their class like an hour before or they'd be late. I don't have to worry about that at all in 4

university pack is ultimate trash, glad I didn't pay for it, got the sims 4 as a gift. to get the degree I had to get a camping tent outside of the door and bench with laptop to finish it.
I did my nails and brushed my irl cat while I kept clicking do homework go to class. I had my sim constantly on potions of plentiful needs and cherry berries since she was a wizard ocult and I had an inventory full of potions and ingredients from living in Glimmerbrook as a teen.
