I really don't understand it, everybody in the stadium knows he fouled him to stop the transition but the referees think it is a "bad attempt to play the ball". Like... wtf?

He wasn't the last defender, and he was only a whisker away from having a clean steal. Normal foul.
Refrees are the weakest part of Euroleague, they should recruit new talents each year. They should also live broadcast the refree dialogues.
