Spot on. That can be good for giving your mouse a more snappy feel, though. Higher fps = lower latency and you only feel lower latency during mouse movement. I'm talking "mouse to display" latency, not internet latency, of course.
Edit: To add to that, it's different than Anti-Lag. Anti-Lag pretty much only helps in games that are REALLY pushing your GPU to 100%. It will hold back one frame so that it isn't just being maxed out at a true 100% load, helping with input lag.

@@Official360 Great question that I've been wondering about, myself. It's hard to tell with a controller.
I really only use a controller for racing games and games like Madden 23/24, so I can't tell. I haven't tried my controller on any first-person shooters.
You'd THINK it would reduce ALL input latency, mouse or controller, but I don't know.

It doesn't just detect mouse movement it detects camera movement in general, so yes it would work on a controller.@@Official360
