To use this stitch as a border of a blanket you have to first do a single crochet border around all sides, putting 2 or 3 SCs in every corner. Once that is done, follow the steps in the video.

Sorry, but if you don't show how to turn at the angle, and then join to the other side to close the circle, this tutorial is useless! Is not to complain, but this stitch is ok for baby blankets, i think I will never use it for anything else, so, if I don't know how to close the chain all around the blanket, the tutorial don't help me at all.. This tutorial is for EDGING. That is not meant to have corners. Like the bottom of the dress, skirt, sleeves, or coasters. So many uses for it outside blankets. But I also explained multiple times in comments what to do if you DID want to do corners

That’s great. Very pretty but it’s not a very helpful tutorial for people who need help getting around the corner. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well this is a tutorial for a STRAIGHT EDGE, it wasn't meant to help people who need to turn the corner, although I did explain how to do that too in many comments. It's for a bottom of a dress, skirt, scarf... The rule of thumb for borders is: go around your piece with SCs, putting 2 or 3 in each corner, then follow the steps in the video 🤷‍♀️

Excuse me? This IS a full pattern! Have you ever heard a saying "don't look a gift horse in the mouth"? SMH
