- Here is the Fenix LR35R flashlight kit. Puts out 10,000 lumens on turbo! Sporting six Luminus SST-40 LED's for a very nice combination beam performance. Build quality is top notch and feels solid and rugged as well. This is powered by the included 21700 cells. Quick USB Type C charging system is great for those on the go. Holster is very nice. I have had this for a long time. Always stays in my pants pocket, the shape is great. 2 parallell 21700 gives it a slim flat profile and the wider head fits nicely deeper in the pocket. I've wondered why none of the major reviewers featured this great light. Glad to see it on your channel! 😀👍

I want to buy this Flishlight but im afraid it will be too hot after a few hours of use. iI it not too hot to hold it in the hand on Turbo and high mode? Is there no danger that the flashlight will turn on by itself, wearing it in your pocket? This can cause a fire.

This is my favorite light. I have two and always carry one. Really came in handy today. The lock on my trucks storage door was frozen and I used this baby to melt the ice and free my lock. Best hand warmers I’ve ever had

Btw a quite unique design is the redundancy and reliability it offers with totally separated drivers for each group of 3 LEDs. Try one battery and it will drive 3 of the 6 LEDs. If one driver burns out you'll still have light. 👍 It also means that the charging charges each cell separetly, no balance issues. And the USB-C charging offers full blown USB-C support i.e. has no issues charging with a USB-C to USB-C connection. Some other lights require a USB-A to USB-C cable, even some of my expensive Manker lights will not charge with chragers having USB-C outputs. And since the batteries are separated, they will not short out even if the user would reverse a battery. Very unusual and high tech design by Fenix here 😎

@@CharlesBridgTec Wow, that is interesting, because that's not how my LR35R works. Each battery runs 3 LEDs each, all levels including Turbo, just like I stated above. Maybe they redesigned it! Mine is quite a bit older than yours I presume. I ordered mine October 2020.
@@RogerNordin just bought mine and the batteries run 3 led separately so you only need one battery. if you need more runtime on low you can just take one battery out or block one and now you have 2x the runtime

I've had this light since they went on pre-order a couple years ago or so, and it has held up extremely well. But, I've always wondered why it would not benefit from the 5000mah vs the 4000mah batteries. Seems like it would get the same lumen output, but with an additional 2000mah. I'm sure Fenix had their reason.
Not more lumen output but maybe a slight increase in runtimes on the 5000mAh cell which you can purchase separately. Thanks for watching!

Hello :) i just bought two flashlights after looking your videos 😄 the mr90 and the sr16 both imalent, they are awesome, i already have fenix Tk75 (2900 Lumens) , Lr40r, Lr50r and TK35UE V2.0 (5000 Lumens) For my next purchase i'm not sure to add something that has features I don't already have in my collection: Lr35r or Tk72m? I carry this doing security. It works great as a spotlight. Scares the hell out of would be shoplifters at night. Store leaves a lot of product out at night.

Does it produce a lot of heat (I burned my hand) when running at the highest turbo mode?
Turbo is to be used for short bursts but will cycle down due to heat. So you should use medium or high for extended uses. Thanks for watching!

This brand does make impressive torches do you think this torch is suitable for home defence to shine eyes of intruders or do you think a more focused beam tactical type is better any info would be greatly appreciated

I have this light and yes it will blind anyone who you point it at. In turbo the bright spot on the wall is even hard to look at.
I want it, but it drops to 3000 lumens so fast on turbo mode. Are there any flashlights that can hold 3000 or more for a much longer time at the same price range or lower?

Yes I like the long turbo, however I own this flashlight and after 4 minutes it will burn your hand so you need to either mount it or have gloves if you want to run it that long in turbo.
