Omg season 4 premiere MG made me laugh when they were in Dr Saltzman’s office and he’s explaining their mission to Hope and he goes “Landon…Malivore…Malidon?” and they all looked at him like “get to the point” 😂

In case you're wondering about Raf: in early S3, he is mortally wounded in a way magic can't restore so they made a prison world to keep him from dying until they found a way to keep him alive. His birth parents join him to keep him company. Raf turnt out to be a prince, being a descendant of King Arthur. His mom is a werewolf and they found his dad through their own archive so likely he is the one from Arthur's bloodline. Raf's final scene is of him smiling, carrying Excalibur and joking about being royalty to his parents.

I liked Vampire Diaries, I loved The Originals. I want to like Legacies, I really do. I like the characters and their relationships for the most part, but I just feel like the show is so stagnate with the plot compared to the other two. We are three seasons in and nothing has really changed. I get the other shows had more episodes. But still nothing has changed, we’ve lost some characters, but it’s always about Malavore. Anyone else or just me? I by no way want to diss on people who love the show, but stacked up the shows that have come before it just doesn’t work with me. But I’m still going to watch because I’m too invested.

Exactly! Malivore has been the antagonist for three seasons whilst in the originals and tvd there were multiple in a season . It honestly makes the show kinda boring and I want to stop watching but cant lol
Totally agree. I think it was a horrible decision on Julie Plec's part to make Malivore the main villain of the entire series, it doesn't fit with TVD or TO and is always a really boring plot point. I hope the new executive producer decides to change this and ends this story line in season 4. Also really tired of Hope and Landon as a couple, they're just together for the sake of being together at this point.

@@shootingcomet082 see that’s the thing I hate the most they had a good system with both of its old shows of always changing things for people and general feel of time passing. It’s been three seasons and I honestly couldn’t tell you how many years it’s been since this all happened. Maybe 2? It’s not just the big bad always being malivore but with some exceptions the characters haven’t changed. Josie has probably had the most growth. MGs big thing was that he got over Lizzie sort of. Landon is, I don’t hate Landon like some, but there’s not enough to really like either. Hope hasn’t changed much which is very Michaelson of her granted but her character was more interesting in the originals cause she was still growing into her magic. (Another thing I don’t even want to get into, but might) I hate how in other shows magic looked a lot more difficult to do compared to now. It went from a lot more of a primal power of nature being tapped into or dark magic to them being at hogwarts. Also you the tension between wolves and vampires are all but non existent anymore. Speaking of the vampires. Aside from the MG stuff, we don’t really get to see the vampires deal with some of the trauma of being killed and living forever. Nor do they show the signs of them being weaker than other vamps because they don’t feed on humans. Stephen’s compulsion was flimsy when he just fed on humans and he was a much older vampire. These are newly turned vampires that have mostly be drinking animal blood of if I can remember correctly. Anyways thanks for coming to part 2 of my Ted talk on a show I’ve invested too much time in to quit

I forgot how bad lizzie flirting with Raf was. She shouldn't have done that on his first day at the school. MG is a comic book need that why he so obsessed with being a superhero. I wish they treated Raf better in this series.

The boarding school used to be the Salvatore home remember it was built in Stefans honor so that Calones kids will have somewhere to belong and be around people like them because Lizzie did do a fire spell at her school so they created this magic school form them. Julie was heavily inspired by Harry Potter and Buffy because they were two favorite series growing up

-Malivore is a mud pit created by a witch, a werewolf, and a vampire centuries ago.
-When anything living is consumed by malivore all supernatural beings forget about it. There's only physical proof of their existence. In season 1 end Hope was in Malivore. She escaped. Josie found a spell to bring back everyone's memories about her.
-Phoenix(like Landon), gargoyles, dragons, Tree spirits, necromancers exist but when they were consumed by malivore all supernatural beings forgot them. But humans remembered(which is how the fairy tales and stuff about them were created).
-In season 2 Kai parker from TVD return for 2 episodes

The Human Teacher is actually an important Character in tvd and the Twins are his and Carolines daugthers (Caroline is one of the Main characters in tvd,she married Stefan in the tvd Final) and the school is the one she opened in the tvd Final

Dude you've got to watch the whole seasons of Legacies new supernaturals very good.
Honestly they should have made the show about hope having to deal with everyone that hated her dad and people who want to kill the tribrid because literally in the originals hayley said that "hope is going to inherit all of her fathers enemies" but that hasn't happened at all. Also the show has become very kid like, the villains are fairytale creatures and don't seem like real threats. In the originals the big threat was the hollow and dahlia and they were super scary and powerful and felt like a real danger and in tvd one of the big threats was klaus and he was a mass murderer so when I see that hope is fighting a leprechaun it's really stupid. They made hope very weak too, she is the tribrid and a firstborn mikealson witch and people in the originals were saying how she was going to be an unstoppable force that was going to bring the end of the world but she doesn't even use her powers; she always fights with knives and regular combat instead of using her magic or werewolf abilities.

Technically, this wasn't even the last episode of season 3 of Legacies. There was a bit of hiccup due to Covid which pushed the last 4 episodes of season 3 into season 4. However, Netflix placed those episodes under season 3.

the reason that 3x16 doesn't completely make sense as a season finale is because the first 4 episodes of season 4 were supposed to be the final 4 episodes of season 3. so 4x04 (which I think is being released on October 4th) should have been the season 3 finale episode. if that makes sense
One time in true Damon fashion when they were teaching these young people how to control their powers Damon answered the phone Hello Hogwarts? He has some of the best comedic lines on the show
