Bosch Cordless Prio Sander clean and battery replacement

- The customer contacted us to repair his Bosch Prio Sander.
For replace we chosen VTC4 cells from Sony/Murata, they replaced Sony VT cells.
For connections between cells we used few pcs 0.2mm pure nickel strip.

What is the charger boltage? I lost mine and used an 8.4v but got damaged
I've tried doing this but after the new battery the motor just stays on. On/off button doesn't stop it
I have this sander and its batteries have died after a lot of use. I know from electronics but I would like to ask for a reassurance. Can I put batteries with a slightly higher capacity, for example 2500mAh? I was thinking of putting LG ICR18650-HE2 2500mAh - 20A or Sanyo UR18650ZM2 2470mAh -10A or Samsung 18650 ICR18650-26JM Li-ion 3.7V 2600mAh or Samsung INR18650 2500mAh in it. If I'm not mistaken, the Sony VTC 4 has a maximum discharge current of 10A, while the ones I recommend have 10 or 20.
Hi, yes you can put cells with higher capacity. I prefer high current cells that's mean cells which can deliver 15A and more of continual discharge current.
Example:
LG HE2 (2500mAh) - 20A
LG HG2 (3000mAh) - 20A
Samsung 20R/20S (2000mAh) - 22A/30A
Samsung 25R/25S (2500mAh) - 20A/25A
Samsung 30Q (3000mAh) - 18A
Sony VTC4 (2000mAh) - 30A
Sony VTC5 (2500mAh) - 25A
Sony VTC6 (3000mAh) - 18A
Etc...
ZM2 is high energy type of cell and it has only 8A cont. discharge current, same 26JM.

Good job. But you forgot to put grease on the gear. What is the cells internal resistance ?

Bosch to takto riešili až do cca roku 2017 kedy do batérii začali dávať kontrolu článkov. Kontrolu vypínania pri nabití a vybití vykonávajú samotné zariadenia , čiže nabíjačka a trebarz vŕtačka. Teplotné čidlo batérie obsahujú čiže tepelná ochrana je taktiež vyriešená.
@@mcells_batteries ano, to bolo jedine, termistor pripojeny do nabijacky... Ale zas na druhu stranu vydrzali dlho 🙂
